The staff was phenomenal. They were caring and informative throughout the whole process. They called and checked on me the next day. Dr. Hansen constantly was checking throughout the procedure to make sure I did not feel any pain. She was very compassionate. I was given her personal cell number just on case of emergency. It is probably the best visit/procedure to any office I have ever been in my entire life. I would strongly recommend for any of your oral surgery needs.

The staff contacted the VA without my permission. No informed release signed. The VA was not involved so why call them?? I signed no informed consent. I had mentioned I had gone to the VA not that they were my latest dentist or anything. I waited months for this appointment. Had to cancel because her staff are this airheaded.

Dr Hansen performed a bone graft and membrane in late September 2018. Her bed side manner is extremely professional and hygienic. She and her team double and triple check everything from start to finish. She was available for questions after surgery. My bone graft healed beautifully, and I no longer have a hole in my face thanks to Dr Hansen’s talent! From diagnosis through the last post-op I truly would not go to anyone else!

Dr. Trisha Hansen and her staff are great! This was my first dental implant. I am always nervous about any type of dental work. Dr. Hansen immediately put me at ease by explaining the whole procedure step by step and what to expect. During the procedure she explained what was happening, frequently asked how I was feeling, and provided assurances throughout. She was so kind and caring. The procedure was painless. I didnt even need follow-up pain medication. She called me later that day and the next to see how I was doing. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and I am thrilled with the results. I highly recommend Dr. Trisha Hansen, her fine staff, and Cheyenne Periodontics for excellent service!

The dentist I have been going to for 30 years referred me to Dr. Hansen for a surgical procedure. Since I have never had dental surgery, I was kind nervous going in. I was presently surprised by the whole experience. Dr. Hansen is so personable and very professional. She educated me on the procedure, made sure I understood what I was facing before, during and after the surgery. During the surgery Dr. Hansen and her assistant Brittney made sure I was comfortable and not in pain. They are a good team. The staff was welcoming, easy to work with and called to check on me post surgery. I think we are very lucky to have this wonderful specialist in our community. Thank you for helping me!

Dr. Trisha Hansen performed two tissue grafting procedures on my 17 year old daughter. Dr. Hansen and her assistant Brittany were true professionals. Both procedures were explained in depth, and eased our anxiety about delicate tissue surgeries. They scheduled the procedures that fit my daughters busy soccer schedule and school breaks. They also called numerous times after both procedures to ensure she was healing well and to see if we had any questions regarding the after care. Both grafts turned out beautifully! *please note they were done in a large area surrounding her front teeth. Highly recommended!

I am submitting this review for Susan A. Accardo-Cornelius a patient of Dr. Hansens.Susan writes-Dr. Hansen came highly recommended to me for some rather tricky dental work when considering my other major medical issues(which makes me a higher risk than most people).I saw her for my examination and during that appointment she explained to me in (layman terms) A to Z what her diagnosis was and how she planned to move forward on the solution for my current dental situation. She not only explained the process in great detail she told me the procedure, risk involved, eating/drinking habits, the healing process and most of all the way I needed to proceed with my dental hygiene to achieve the best result. I was also given a great deal of written information to read before my surgery. I was given a ready made packet with dos and donts for each surgery. She also answered all the questions I had for her in great detail. My two surgeries were done exactly as explained and read about with an absolute beautiful outcome. That is the type of work and care you can look forward to when having any work performed by Dr. Hansen.Dr. Hansen goes above and beyond for all her patients. She is also easy to talk to and you are able to reach her anytime you may need her. She is very knowledgeable, professional, shows integrity and has an amazing work ethic. She demands perfection from herself. I have highly recommended Dr. Hansen to family and friends who have been in need of her specialty.Thank you Dr. Hansen for all your hard work and long hours. Dr. Hansen is a true asset to the dental field as well as to Cheyenne, Wyoming.Susan A. Accardo-Cornelius

Awesome experience with Dr. Hansen & the team at Cheyenne Perio. I came from Jackson, WY concerned with an area of gingival recession, had a tissue graft, and am beyond impressed with the results. Very little discomfort, great experience, better outcome than I expected. I will definitely return to Cheyenne Perio (even with the distance) and highly recommend them. Great all around! Sarah M. Dr Hansen performed an extraction, dental implant and bone graft on Nov 7th 2016, the day my life changed forever. According the neurologist I now have neuropathic pain due to implant with no known remedy. I live every day, all day in pain that never lets up. I have had 13 procedures since then to try and fix the nerve damage with no success. I understand there are risks during any surgical procedure, but the possibility of nerve damage was never brought up. After two months when I told her it felt like nerve damage since my entire mouth was on fire, she denied it and sent me to an endodontist for a root canal that was done on a healthy tooth causing more trauma. Since that day that I told her it felt like nerve damage, I never saw or spoke with again. I tried but she refused to speak with me. If you want to roll the dice and possibly have something go wrong and the Dr step away, Dr Hansen is the one for you. After 6 months, the neurosurgeon told me to get the implant out. It had never even adhered to the bone. It was just sitting up there. The surgery was expensive and she made no attempt to give me the full amount back. This had been a nightmare costing me a fortune with no hope in sight. I had surgery 3 weeks ago to remove the massive amount of scar tissue in the area that cost me $2000. I am filing a complaint with the Dental Board against her. She needs to be stopped before someone else is injured. Making a mistake is one thing, ignoring the pain and not communicating with the patient speaks volumes of this womans integrity and commitment to her patients.Update to review. Dr Hansen called me today. I was moved by her sincere apologies that she had not been told I was trying to reach her and even offered to give me her private cell if I need anything at all. I could tell that she was very upset and sad that I have been through so much and offered to be there for me in any capacity I need. I have always been able to tell when someone is sincere and speaking from their heart and thats what I experienced today. It lifted my spirits and I felt better knowing that she did indeed care deeply. I look at my review and see my pain speaking, for that I apologize. Dr Johnson who stepped in to take care of me has done everything in his power to help me and has been a tremendous source of support, even when I hung up on him. His staff as well has done everything in their power to help me get through this. What happened to me happens to less than 1% of patients that have implants, I just happened to be the one. I think from my conversation with Dr Hansen that we both have learned something from this experience. I felt bad for her and wanted to reach through the phone to hug her, thats how sincere she was.It is now the 3rd of January 2018, after another surgery, loss of another tooth, and nerve block, the pain remains. My body is exhausted, I am in trauma counseling, and have 3 teeth missing. There is so much damage from the nerves that they may not be able to restore the teeth. It doesnt matter at this point, all thats been done and I am back where I started, constant nerve pain.An implant should be done in two stages, giving the area where the extraction time to heal, up to 4 months, before putting an implant in. It is safer that way, with less chance of this happening. All the oral surgeons and periodontists I have been to were not on board for trying to do it in one sitting. My life is barely worth living with this pain.I have now passed the two year mark living every day with the pain I was subjected to when the nerves in my mouth were burned. Ive seen every doctor and tried everything, but nothing takes this burning, aching, relentless pain. No word from Dr Hansen. She is someone who can injure another and not care. I walked in there fine and left like this. The pain is horrible, but that kind of behavior from someone you trust is not acceptable. Yes, shes very sweet, has a wonderful bedside manner, but dont look to her if you are injured, shes not available.Four years later, Im bedridden. 50 surgeries.
