I worked at Garden View in Chesterfield as a Receptionist from August of 2020 to May of 2021. I will say it was the less stressful job I ever had. The moment you walk in you will be amazed with the cleanliness and the beautiful art work hanging on the walls. It is a very peaceful community where people truly care about one another. I will miss the smiles of the Residents and the welcoming smiling faces of all the employees. I will miss every department I had a chance to work with. If you want a great place to work this will be the place. If you are looking for a great retirement home to place a love one in this would be the place. The nurses truly care about the Residents and go above and beyond to make sure they are taken care of.

My 92 year old mom had been living at an assisted living community that promised us the moon and the stars and failed to deliver. Once we realized our mom wasn’t getting the care or attention she deserved my sisters and I decided to begin our search. A friend of our family had recommended Garden View Care Center of Chesterfield after her dad had such great care in the memory care area and we are so thankful every day that she told us about Garden View! We were so afraid to uproot our mom and make another move but the staff at Garden View made it as smooth and welcoming as can be. The care, compassion and attention my mom receives now is more than we could have ever imagined. She participates in activities, the CNAs allow her to keep her independence but provide the assistance she needs and the nursing staff are so good about communicating with us. We get to visit her in her room and have had the chance to form relationships with the people who are with her daily. It’s a God sent that we ended up at Garden View in Chesterfield and she is getting the care she deserves. When we first toured, the term “hidden gem of Chesterfield” was used to describe Garden View and we couldn’t agree more!

I have worked at Garden View Care Center of Chesterfield for 2 years now, and I couldnt imagine being anywhere else. Everyone works collectively as a team for the same end goal: to ensure our residents are being treated with the utmost care and respect. We want to make sure this feels like home for all of our residents to make this transition easier for both the resident and their family. We all share the same love and compassion for taking care of our residents, so that every one of their needs and desires are being met on a daily basis. I feel SO blessed to work with such wonderful and caring people, and to see the smiles they put on all of our residents faces each day!

I have been at GVCC of Chesterfield for almost a year and I absolutely love this community. It is on 12 acres, set far back from the road, it looks like it was placed in the middle of a park! The staff here have so much longevity and care in their hearts! The maintenance director can tell you a residents favorite snack or channel to watch on TV and the Chef makes personalized omelets for the residents for breakfast! This is a great, small community in Chesterfield!

I have worked in the senior care industry for 17 years. A majority of my career took place working in large skilled nursing facilities. I can tell you first hand that a smaller home like Garden View Care Center of Chesterfield has a whole different feel, approach and communal aspect. It is warm and inviting, not overwhelming and the staff have great comradery. The smaller community has more of a family feel and the care for the residents is more personal because of it. Not to mention it is tucked away on 12 beautiful acres and I like to call GVCC Chesterfield, The hidden Gem of Chesterfield!

I have worked at Garden View Care Center for over 2 years. The genuine and excellent care that is provided to our residents, along with the great team we have, have made it a joy to work for Garden View Care Center.

My mom-in-law is here for rehab following a fall. I cant say enough great things about the staff. Everyone is so helpful and really seem to care. They even keep her hair in a cute style and keep her clean and looking nice; this with every random time of the day visit we have made since her admission so we know its consistent. This is a beautiful facility; very clean and no unpleasant odor anywhere weve wandered and she really likes the food, saying its delicious. Unfortunately my mother-in-law may have to become a long-term resident but on the plus side, shea already in a place that we approve of and making friends.

I have been working at GVCC for 6 months and I absolutely love it. It definitely has its ups and downs as with any long term care facility, but the teamwork is great. We take great pride in our work and provide excellent care to each and every single resident.

I love working at Gvcc in chesterfield we work very hard as a team to make sure each and every resident receives the best care. The work is a breeze and I enjoy my time when I am at work. Great place to work and bring your loved ones!

My wife has been a resident of Garden View Care Center in Chesterfield, Missouri for about four years. I am writing to let you know about the care provided by the staff at Garden View. In a word, the care is excellent. For my wife, and the rest of her family, as they visit Myra. They know her and work hard to provide for her needs physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Sanda and Joy made it clear to me both by word and deed that they considered dad their family.Alena treated dad with such care and respect.And Melinda helped me to understand what Alzheimer’s was doing to dad’s appetite—she showed me how to get him to swallow his Boost, and made the last night I saw him alive special by providing what I needed to care for him the night I told him goodbye.Thanks Gardenview!!

I can now share the details of our experience now that we have moved our mother. The center kept us from our loved one upon admission which was against the patient bill of rights and at one point we found our mother so sedated and soiled. We were so disappointed in the staff to patient ratio every time we went it was just alarming. You really must be an advocate for your loved one at all times on this journey.

My father has been a resident for over 2 years. He is always treated with respect and as a family member. We are very pleased with his care. The staff goes above and beyond to meet his needs.

Garden View is a great place. My mother has been there for some years and the staff is very caring and they always make sure to let family know if there is any issue. I’m not sure why a disgruntled employee would write a bad review. Maybe they did not fit in with the caring and thoughtful staff. Regardless, Sanda, Doreen, Lisa and countless other staff members make me feel like Mom is well cared for. They go the extra mile and care for Mom like she is family. I’m so very thankful she is at a place like Garden View. ❤️

I just wanted to let everyone that in the last 7 years of taking care of our mom/Grammi, we have all been very happy with the staff at GVCC! We have always felt that she is in good hands and know that she is safe! Thank you for the continued care of our Sunshine!!

Mom felt so safe and cared for! She said the nurses were always on time with her meds, and the therapy department was thorough , awesome facility!

This Place Is TERRIBLE!!! The Work Is Easy & The Residents Are All Lovable & Sweet Hearts ..But From The Administration To The Workers On The Floor They Are HORRIBLE !! Everyone In The Front Offices Look Down On The CMTs CNAs They Dont Greet Them In The Morning & They Come Off Very Rude & Hostile The Workers On The Floor DO NOT Like CHANGE They Are Rude To All The New Workers They Dont Want To Orientate & They Tell Upper Managment What They Is & Isn’t Going To Do They Are Always SHORT There Are Never Enough Workers & If You Volunteer To Pick Up On Your Off Day They Will Schedule You For One Wing But If Someone Else Calls & Want That Wing & They Have Seniority They Will Move You Without Notice To Accommodated That Person Rather You Know The People On The Wing Or Not They Will Keep You Over There & Get Upset If You Ask To Get Orientated Or Helped On That Side They Will Catch An Attitude With You Upper Management Will Talk About Workers & Belittle Them To Other Co Workers Or They Friends They Will Discuss Their Personal Business In The Opening & Think Its Not Going To Get Back To That Person & That Person Is Not To Call The Out On There Non Sense...THEY NEED HELP BAD !!.& If Its Not The Facility & The Workers It’s Chesterfield Police They DO NOT Want BLACK AFRICAN AMERICANS Working In This Area I Got Pulled Over Three Times Because My Car Was In An Accident & I Have A Missing Headlight They Arrested Me The First Night Stating I Had Warrants Im Knowing I Didn’t They Held Me For Ten Hours & Released Me Stating ‘They Dont Know Why The Officer DIDNT Let Me Go With A Warning’ By This Time I Only Been At This Facility For Like 3 Days The Most Recent Was Yesterday & I Was On My Lunch Break & Chesterfield Police Pulled Me Over For The Third Time For The Exact Samething But Due To The Fact They Can’t Give You A Ticket For The Samething He Gave Me A Ticket For Unbuckling My Seat Belt Before I Was Issued My Tickets SMH It Cost More For Me To Go To Work Than Anything How Do The Police Expect People To Get Forward If They Gotta Worry About Getting Pulled Over & Getting More Fines & Stuff To Pay For ..
