I started my locking journey with Faith. She took the time to adjust her schedule to make sure to accommodate me during her busy day. She was gentle with my head and full of laughs. The other stylists (Tip, Michelle, and LaToya) all show off their beautiful hair and work on their clients with pride.

Ok. I have locs almost to the middle of my back yes i know thats long to some people. But to ask me to pay you two times for my hair& retwist by the length of my locs. That is CRAZY! THIS IS JUST MY OPINION BUT PLEASE STOP RIPPING PEOPLE OFF.

This Was my first time goin to Black Butterflies for a wash and retwist . Tip was my stylist and she was funny, professional and did an amazing job with my hair. Definitely will be goin back

I accidentally posted a rave review for this particular salon and then I remembered it was the wrong 1. This one posted on website they were open on a Sunday at 7:00 a.m. I called until 9 no answering machine and no answer that to me alone is poor customer service. While I realize things happen, you should have an answering machine at least so people can leave a message. But I did find a great salon not to far from this one.

I luv my experience!! Ms. Tip was very kind and understanding. Ill definitely return to see her.

All the ladies that work here are super friendly and knowledgeable about hair. Michelle started and maintains my locs and she is awesome! I love my hair! Chosing to come here was one of the best decisions Ive ever made!

Scheduled an appointment Friday for Sunday. I called and texted Saturday to confirm for Sunday being that I stay an hour away and didnt get a response until 15 minutes Sunday morning before my appointment. Im done trying this place. All she had to do was text or call me back.

I have been kind of hesitate by growing my locks, but now I am excited that I have found someone who loves what they do and they do the customer right. I love them the atmosphere is so cool. You can buy chips,coffee sodas and charge your device while you wait. Then after they call you to have your hair done you can watch a movie. How cool is that.

Anytime a loctician interlock dirty hair after you had told them upfront that you needed a wash is beyond me. And then I was told to wait another 8 weeks to wash it again. Never did I returned back!

Tip has been my stylist for EIGHT years and going. I love the work she has done with my locs from start to finish. She even comes through when I need her last minute.

I have locks and was on the verge of cutting them off due to breakage dryness and simply not looking healthy to me so i went to ms TONYA for consultation. and afterwards made a appointment and she has fulfilled my expectations and more....bonus was she gave me a style and didnt include it in the price i had a wash and condition/re-twist and style for $85.00. First appointment. Every appointment afterwards is much less overall atmosphere clean/orderly. Hairstylist is awesome...i think i finally found a great hairstylist

Not bad ,but a three is good please make sure you get someone to do your hair who has dreads . The young lady who did it didnt have dreads or never had dreads and put to much mousse in my hair so I walk out with flakes .

Went there years ago when I had dreads. They were excellent. Now thinking about growing dreads again. I live in Georgia and will drive there without a second thought.

I have almost reached my two Loc anniversary. I was consulted my others that I would have to cut all my relaxed hair. My stylist during my consultation told suggested two strand twists and did not cut any of my hair. She advised me it would take time for my hair to become fully locked and to remain patient. Love my locs.Love the technique she uses, my hair is always neat and when it is time to get redone it is not messy looking.

I was well informed on the bedt natural hair style and hair maintenance for my texture. The shop is positive and encourages individual expression.

The owner is cool and down to earth. Quality hair care, and efficient service.

Initially I thought this would be an excellent spot to start my journey of dreading my hair until the first experience of starting my dreads occurred. My hair took longer than my stylist expected and I had to endure her sighing and huffing and puffing while she began to rush my process and listen to her state that this would never happen like this again. I felt disrespected. Then I decided that maybe she just had a bad day and call a week and a half in advance to schedule my next appointment and there was no response to my call. When I finally received a text back I was told that she was extremely busy and in so many words could not service me!!! This was so disappointing and so unprofessional. I would never recommend this shop to anyone unless they wanted to be left in limbo while starting such a committed process
