My boyfriend treated us to a couple’s haircut (men’s haircut for him, shampoo/cut/blowout for me). Everything about this place is amazing. The salon is kept very clean and orderly. The front desk staff are very polite and friendly. The waiting area is cozy and overlooks the stylists’ chairs.I absolutely loved my stylist Sol. I had heard amazing things about her before going in and was so excited to have been assigned to her. Sol understands curly/wavy hair types and every step of my cut/style was wonderful. I have always been lucky to have great stylists but Sol is the best and I’m already looking forward to my next appointment!I can’t recommend this place enough! They equally did such a beautiful job with my boyfriend’s hair. He had Jennifer, who is very friendly and also incredibly talented.This salon offers tons of services beyond hair. I’m looking forward to coming back!

I went for the 1 hour hot stone full body massage. It was a pleasant massage, just right pressure and completely relaxing. I lurched when I heard myself snore a time or 2! I learned that I am not a fan of hot stones. The masseuse used them for about 3 minutes total during the one hour. They are smooth and silky but I had to ask her to make them less hot since they keep a lot of heat. I had to ask myself if I can do without them and I concluded that I am not a fan. At the start of each section she would pull them out so when she would pull then apply them to the area (shoulders, back, legs, etc.) As I said in the beginning, she only used them for about 10 seconds but they are called hot stones for a reason. I was not comfortable with the heat so I wont use them again but I am glad I gave it a shot. My masseuse was Mary Ann (I hope I remembered that correctly) and she was superb, very sweet, informative and professional. I will ask for her by name on my next visit. I am a first time visitor to the place and did not know what to expect, its not a low budget place, its not high end but it was just right for an economical visit. I paid $85 but I think it was discounted due to the holiday, at any rate, it was worth every dollar!

I went at this place feeling scared because my experience in an American salons wasn’t good. Actually, were tragedies!! The first good news when I was waiting for my appointment is “there is a Brazilian hairdresser there” 🎉🎉🎉 I immediately took I deep breath!!! I really need had my hair done because days later I was going to a important event. I was postponing giving a chance to another American salon and driving to Newark NJ where there are Brazilian salons. I decided try this place and, I had appointment with LISA an American hairdresser and what a surprise was.. Great surprise, first of all she wasn’t in a hurry to finish my balayage which is not a reality in most of American salons, Lisa did an excellent job also she is very kind and polite. I really recommend Lisa even tough she is not Brazilian and doesn’t understand the difference between a American vs Brazilian salon, I believe part of the success in this salon is a Brazilian hairdresser who works there because she told me that she is teaching to Americans how to make a visit in this salon a delightful experience without hurry clients up AMAZING!!

I have been going to Brittney B. at the look salon for about 5 years now and have never, ever been disappointed. Britt even did my wedding hair along with my bridal party this past October! I would not trust anyone else to touch my hair & I constantly get compliments on my color. I have also gotten a couple of massages here & they have been wonderful as well- I always recommend the look salon.

So I’ve gone here before and all I’m going to say is your stylist really makes your experience. I got my hair done here last year for prom and loved it, I went back this year and had what seemed like a newer stylist and I was so disappointed. She burnt my hair by going over the whole thing three times and there was no style in the end. Ultimately I could’ve done what she did at home and saved my $55 for someone who actually knows how to do some hair !!

A little disappointed with my experience. The first thing that disappointed me was their limited nail polish color options but the most disappointing thing was that the very next day, one of my shellac nails chipped. It wasn’t super bad, but I’ve never had a shellac manicure chip so quickly. It also seemed like my nail tech had double booked herself because for half my manicure she had another client waiting to get her hair done which stressed me out a bit worrying that she would rush with me to get to her next client. Overall, compared to other places I’ve been, the quality of my manicure was a little less than I hoped for. It’s the holidays so I’m very busy, I work 12 hour shifts, and I don’t live close by so I just don’t have the time to go back and have them fix it though they were willing to do so for free. Not a horrible place, the lady who did my nails was friendly enough.*edit*They reached out again to me and apologized. They even switched their Saturday schedule around a bit to fit my schedule for me to come back to get my nail fixed. Great customer service. I would give them another shot 👍🏼

I received a gift card to The Look years ago & enjoyed a pedicure and a massage. Brittany Bansfield has been styling my hair for years now. Both of my young adult children benefit from her talent as well. All of the stylists are very talented and professional. It’s not unusual to hear one asking another for an opinion or advice. Everyone is professional, kind and very friendly. The reception desk keeps it all going smoothly, adding pleasant conversation as time allows. The shop is clean with all safety & health standards maintained. Covid19 curbed their complimentary beverage service for the time being- I always thought it was a nice touch. Most of all, my hair looks beautiful!! There’s only been one time that my son wasn’t completely happy with his hair-it’s curly & challenging to cut. We returned to the salon, discussed it & tried something different. We’ve always felt that they wanted us to be happy with results.

Im very particular when it comes to who I let touch my hair as I have had some EPIC fails with other salons that have left me wanting extensions within the hour!! I found The Look just searching one day and said let give it a go. Best decision EVER! From my first cut in 2018 to my most recent drastic cut, Jennifer is my go to girl!!! The ladies are both professional and courteous at the front. They greet and direct you immediately so you don’t feel awkward standing around.The salon offers so many services and expertly done that one can truly get a one stop shop service experience.I have been coming here for years and always do walk-in, I’ve had a number of different stylists and they all always do amazing work!

It has changed a lot since I first started going there. The stylists there now dont seem to have the quality experience that was there before. I wont be a returning customer. Very nice environment and employees but thats a plus, not what Im paying for.

I called to make an appt for a shampoo, cut and blow dry. The staff answering the phone and greeting upon entrance and exit were nice. Unfortunately the haircut I received was terrible. I went in with long hair and left with some horrible version of a choppy mullet. I showed my stylist several pictures of what was a long bob which she looked at and went to work. The only question asked was about the length I wanted to maintain, so I assumed she knew what she was doing. Close to the end when she showed me the results I pulled the picture back up to show her that my hair wasnt right. She tried some to fix it and finally I just said it was fine and went to pay. All I wanted to do was leave to go home and cry, which is what I did. The next morning, unable to style my hair or make it look any better, confirmed how bad it was, so up it went into a tiny short ponytail. I wanted to get a refund but I took a look at my receipt and it states there are no refunds issued, only salon credit, so I didnt even try. I made an appt. at another salon, Fringe, and went in to have it fixed. The stylists there were shocked and surprised a licensed hair stylist did my hair. It was choppy, uneven and nothing like what I wanted. Thankfully they were able to fix it and now its blended evenly and has been salvaged.

They offer their clients a drink.. water bottle or wine.. that’s something you don’t see often. However the price point is fantastic!! You won’t be disappointed .. I LOVE coming to this spa! It is always wonderful! I love getting massages and pedicures as well as manicures! Everyone is very nice and always making sure we have everything we need. I havent done my hair, make-up or facials here yet. But I plan to in the future! I would recommend them to anyone looking for a relaxing spa day!

Yesterday was my first experience with the salon. I went in for a cut and left one very satisfied customer.  After an extensive Google/ Yelp search I came across Michael. To say he is incredible is an understatement. He asked me what I wanted and executed perfectly. Most times than not, in the past, a stylist would cut my hair to their choosing. Not Michael!!!! When he finished, it took everything I had not to cry because my hair actually looked decent for once in my life.  :-)Ill certainly choose Michael for all of my future hair needs.

Great massage, but the Therapist didnt massage my feet & she did a Swedish Massage so I was a tad bit disappointed by that...... 🤔🥴😟

My new favorite place! I am new to the area and was desperate to find a good salon. I stopped in to take a look around and the staff was great. The girl at the front desk was really nice, answered my questions, and got me in for an appointment right away. My stylist did a great job on my highlights, hair cut and brow wax. My husband even complimented me when I got home (and he never notices!) I decided to treat myself to a pedicure while I was there and I really enjoyed that too. The chairs were awesome and I really appreciated how clean everything was. As a busy wife and mom I loved taking some time to relax and talk to the girl doing my pedicure. I already told my husband I want a gift card for our anniversary next month!

I cant say enough good things about this place. I love it. Everyone is so nice and helpful. Ive had a few beautician and my hair always comes out great. The place is clean and very professional. You get a complimentary drink (water, wine, soda, just ask). Its just a great place to relax and get your hair done.

The fit me in for SEVERAL waxing services on a Friday at the last minute and were so friendly about it! Everyone from the receptionist to the very nice lady (Quyce) that performed the services put me at ease after EWC canceled my wax appointment on the day that I was leaving for vacation. I will most definitely be going back.

Last week I went into the salon wanting something a bit different than my usual hair color. I had some ideas but from the start my stylist was ready and willing to help me through deciding what I actually wanted. She then told me the plan of what we were doing that day and got to work. While she was slightly busy, I did not feel it. She was very attentive to me and her other client that she was finishing up. The whole experience was fabulous and she even did my eyebrows! I love my hair and have already called back to set up my next appointment with the same stylist! The only reason its not a 5 star review is because the girl who washed my hair was new and got my shirt slightly wet. Shout out to Natalia! Shes a great stylist and friend!

This was my first time at the Look and Ive heard great things. I booked the most expensive pedicure because Im on my feet a lot. It was overall pretty good but the nail tech was very new and didnt know what was included- plus she had very long fingernails which seemed to make her job more difficult. Im wondering if that why I didnt get any sort of leg or foot massage when that was the main reason I went. I appreciated the scrub and mask, but again, it wasnt very relaxing because the tech had to use tools like popsicle sticks instead of her hands. It might be just me, because of my germophobia, but she also never wore gloves (probably because her nails wouldnt allow her to.) Overall, it wasnt bad, but I would book with another tech next time.

I always get the best service in a casual environment. You basically cant go wrong with ANY of the stylist there, but Monae is who I go to faithfully!! Her coloring, Brazilian blow out and Dream Catcher application is FABULOUS!!

I loved the girl who did my toes and the message I had here was phenomenal. I felt over priced for my hair cut I have really short hair and didnt need it cut. My stylist was great I loved how quiet she was I was able to really relax. My friend had it rough though I really think its luck on your experience here.

Businesses with great customer service earn that reputation not by being perfect--thats an impossible goal. This reputation evolves over time by how they fix problems when they occur. Kudos to my hairstylist who took the initiative to fix a problem. Not only can she cut hair very well, but she also has exceptional character. The Look truly employs some great people. What more could you ask for? They do their job well and are great people to boot. Keep it up!

I just came from this salon, and the lady who did my hair was amazing. She was concerned about my hair and took very good care of me. She got me a water and was just nice in general. I made an appointment with her in the future dor normal hair care. The atmosphere was wonderful, the girls were nice and the place was clean. Loved it.

Brittany cuts our hair and does an excellent job. Prices are great and youll love the atmosphere. Parking can get hairy at times but totally worth it.

I had started going to this salon shortly before my wedding. Up until my wedding day, I was content. They always ran late but I just accepted that as their way of business. The morning I woke up for my wedding two of my bridesmaids informed me that they decided not to use the Looks services that day. That left myself, my mother, and two of my bridesmaids using their hair and makeup services that day. Apparently the stylists were irritated that two of my bridesmaids dropped out last minute. They rushed through doing our hair and makeup (claiming they had other appointments to be at). If they had originally expected to provide hair and makeup for two extra people they definitely didnt have other appointments to go to. They left after doing a terrible and rushed job and my mom and sister in law wound up curling my hair up until the minute I walked down the aisle. No bride should go through that type of stress on the day of her wedding. Never will go there again.

My wife and granddaughter went there and they look amazing. They went for the Brazilian blowout. I recommend. Ask for Sol.

I loved the lady who did my facial she was very nice. I just don’t think I really like the facial I received overall though. When she finished it felt great and she was very gentle during extractions and everything else but when I got home my skin was still very congested and it was SO dehydrated. I had to add lotion to my face because it was so tight and uncomfortable. When I originally called I asked if they had Hydrafacials and they said their facials are hydrating. My skin is very dull, dehydrated, and tight now :/ I also wasn’t given any sun protection afterwards which is so important after using chemical exfoliants. I hate leaving negative reviews but I’m kind of disappointed :/

I just got waxed by Quyce, holy crap! She was BEYOND amazing! We talked the whole time, I hardly knew I was having copious amounts of hair ripped from my delicate areas. She explained everything to me in full detail and gave me a ton of tips and follow up info. I will defiantly be going back to see her. Very great experience!!!

Have not actually been there, but with the poor treatment and lack of courtesy I received on the phone, I would not recommend them for anything. I recently did a fundraiser to give 2 women with a life threatening illness a spa package for a day of pampering. A manager hung up on me quickly the first time, and then when I called back, would not even consider working with me to help these women. So very disappointing.

They always take such good care of me and my hair. Heather is the best and nicest along with all the girls.

Got my nails done here and Ill never go back. I got the coffin shaped nails and was charged 5 dollars for her to shape them that way. And they didnt even look like coffin nails. They were really crooked and uneven. I got glitter polish and charged an extra 10 cause she said it was cinsidered nail art.They are way to expensive and after a couple of days they just started popping off. 70 dollars for a full set my nails shouldnt just pop off. And it took her 3 hours to do my nails.Worst experience ever

She got the job done but boy she was just so rough. I was just more than ready to leave then sit there and complain. She actually tugged some of my hair out of my head from brushing so hard. The smoothing iron was way too high for my fine curly hair. She put on the heat protectant and automatically but the flat iron on my hair, causing it to pop on to my scalp. My hair is more than sore and I believe my scalp was burnt. I think she was a tier three stylist and I don’t understand why she’s so rough. Hair looks decent because it’s not a hard service but I’m in pain. I know I have a lot of piercings too but I feel as if my piercings were going to be ripped out of my ear. So frustrated but didn’t want to make a scene. Kind of overpriced for the end result and roughness. I wish I just did it myself. I do hair too and I know these things are avoidable. Not being too biased, just in pain.
