Courteous, professional, reliable, these are a few of the adjectives I can use to describe this well run and caring agency. Kevin has made this process so easy for my family to navigate. At first we had no idea what to do, we never planned for this happening. Kevin was a savior and walked us through step by step.Its been about 6 months now since we started having some help come in for my parents. Ive seen, just in this short time how it has eased the burden of daily living and has made a tremendous difference in the quality of life for my parents. And their caregiver is someone they look forward to seeing - she is kind, patient and caring and works hard for them!

The caregivers from Right at Home were truly invaluable at a time when we most needed help. During the last week of my mom’s life, we hired Right at Home aides to help us care for Mom around the clock to make sure she was comfortable while dying and that all her needs were met, including bathing and changing, medication, and ensuring comfort while bed-bound. Not only were these caregivers there for Mom, but they quickly became shoulders for us to lean on for this very sad and excruciating process. We have a home health aide 5 days a week who is awesome. She goes above and beyond to make sure the patient is taken care of well. We have had a couple of aides that were not as good. Right at Home administration tries to satisfy their clients, but ultimately its the health care worker who comes to the home to satisfy the patient.

The caregivers at Right at Home provide breakfast and companionship to my 92 year old father during the week. They are very caring ladies and provide a nutritious breakfast for him and sit with him while he eats. He looks forward to their visits. And sometimes, they even join him with his songs!

I contracted to use right at home for my 90 year old mother. I actually cancelled another agency to start with their staff after we discussed the needs , terms, etc., post stroke of my mom. She is bedridden requires a person with knowledge of post stroke. I emphatically stated that I needed help that was attentive, “ on time” , didn’t call out continually , I., e. Constantly for weekends Especially as is common in this industry. Most importantly the fact that I wanted consistent help , not the usual carousel of names which is detrimental in a covid pandemic especially where I have mom plus a chronically ill daughter in my care. I cannot have a bus station of strangers walking thru my home weekly.Anyway, first weekend. Saturday lady showed up did a nice job and I liked her. Sunday’s help I was not so lucky with. No call, no show. Not even from the agency the night prior saying the girl was not coming. Nothing. Management was ambivalent , silent, and I had to chase them down. There was no reason. Just no show. Mind you I told another agency not to work in order to start with the big national “ right at home “ with reduced hours daily , for more money per hour. Left me high and dry changing diapers. I am the son. Can you imagine????Monday goes by , no call. Tuesday “oh, sorry. We can’t help you obviously we cannot get you regular help as you requested , and we will be better off cutting ties.” What? Huh? I cancelled out another agency for this obnoxious attitude of a company?!??? I would say you don’t get what you pay for in this industry..., and they are pretty much all the same when it comes to calling out, and being late. My wife has racked up thousands of dollars in being docked fees / lateness / because of agency tardiness. Not my wife’s fault. All of the agencies share this issue. Small and national. Makes no difference.These guys aren’t what they bill themselves as, and I would not pay their rate ever again for that kind of ego driven service. It’sCompletely wrong the way I was handled. They put my mother and I in a very bad position, but they managed to pick up their time and a half payment for July 4th a few days ahead of time. That much they got correct. Beyond unprofessional and inappropriate for personal care? I would say my dog groomer was more attentive. Imho. Right at home? Not in my home!You would think the day the lady called out they would have made more of an attempt to fill the day, huh? First impression goes far, no? No, they could care less. Even dumped potentially thousands of dollars in business! Who does that!?!? Great manager!Rob

I couldnt be happier with the services of my mothers home health aide/companion and the LPN services. I am a sole caretaker and live two hours away from mom and the only way I have peace of mind knowing mom is well cared for is because of Right At Home. Our family has been blessed by them. I wish I could afford more time and hours. I wish they would consider taking medicaid so that mom could get more of their professional support. They are responsive, communicate well with families and work diligently on behalf of their clients. What more could a client ask for from a health care provider. God bless them all.
