Kind and thoughtful doctor; great staff

I had an appt scheduled for 3:10pm and was running late so I called the office to see if I can still be seen. The receptionist said shed ask the nurse if its possible. Almost 10 minutes goes by and finally the receptionist says that Ill have to reschedule. I was very upset because it was raining cats and dogs and traffic was very bad. I told her that I need to speak to the nurse. Another 15 minutes goes by and finally the nurse asks where I am. I said in the building on the 1st floor. She told me to come up to the office and shell ask the doctor If he could make room for me. Ive been a patient for 15 years and have never ever been late or caused any problems for this doctor. I walked into the office and his staff was very rude. His nurse comes out and says that either I can reschedule or find another practice. I couldnt believe my ears. I know his time is precious and so is mine! Its very difficult for me to take time off from work but I did for this appointment only to be told the doctor wont see you. I was very hurt by that. Every time I visited his office, I had to wait at least 15-20 minutes before I saw the doctor. Couldnt they just wait 10 minutes for me? Obviously he doesnt care about his patients. If he did, he wouldve seen me. Well dr. just remember you are nothing without patients and you are not taking your hippocratic oath seriously. Patient satisfaction makes your practice. People interested in this doctor or his rude staff should think 3 times before going there. This is my 2nd posting of this matter because Im pretty sure the previous one was erased.

Today was my first appointment with Dr. Funderburk. I was very impressed with him and his staff. He was very nice. I will definitely go see him again.
