I had gone here for several years with great service. This past year I had a new doctor and she told me she would only prescribe me equal cost or more expensive contacts. I explained to her that I have friends that go to the same place and they are prescribed much cheaper contacts by reputable brands. The doctor was pushing certain brands that were more expensive for me and couldnt give a logical reason why. This place is a scam now that the original owner/doctor no longer works there. Wont be wasting my time or money in a place like this.

Uptown Vision service is terrible. They call often to ask for an appointment with a automated call with no way to respond. They will not answer calls to make appointments to for others reasons or complaints. They do not adequately fix problems with the frames.

I had a wonderful experience at Uptown Vision or MyeyeDr. I got an appointment the same day I called. The staff were all very friendly. It was a very nice and clean environment. Sarah Shim was extremely helpful and informative about what I needed and why. She took her time and was very thorough. When I went to pick out my glasses, I worked with Jillian, and she was wonderful. She was honest and helped me find the right glasses. She gave me suggestions and since I was new to this entire glasses world, she was very informative for me. She treated me like we had known each other forever. I would highly recommend myeyeDr. As they were recommended to me.

I went two years ago for a eye exam and was so rushed through the actual eye exam that when I received my glasses they were not the correct prescription. Dr. Shim acted like she could care less about doing the exam and acted in a hurry. I recently went to a new eye doctor and realized how a eye exam is actually suppose to go and it was wonderful!

The physicians and staff at Uptown Vision are very friendly. And not only friendly, but their medical expertise and equipment is top notch. It is very convenient to have Uptown Vision located downtown. It takes only five minutes to walk there from my office. I even schedule my appointments during my lunch hour and have always returned to my office within the hour. Professionalism, Courtesy, and Convenience! What more could you want?

Went to him at Walmart vision center Cleveland and I guess he felt like he didnt have to give a proper exam because he didnt. All he had me do was look through something like a magnifying glass and kept asking me how far would I like to be able to see. ?? Wasted my money! Now I have to go have another PROPER eye exam somewhere else. He was very arrogant. No I do not recommend-and if I could give him 0 stars I would!!

The doctors are extremely helpful and spend the time to make sure the eye appointment gets you the results you want. Very friendly staff make it an enjoyable visit. Wish the eyeglass selection was a little broader but they do a good job fitting your selection to your face.Would highly recommend and have!!

Excellent Staff and Doctors. Convenient location. Comfortable waiting room. A+ service! Doctor Shim gives great advice and takes the time to explain what needs to be done to your eyes.

I went to Uptown Vision on the advice of a friend; I had already used four different eye doctors since moving to Chattanooga three years ago. I dont consider myself that difficult and dont usually have this problem, but just couldnt find the right fit. I loved Uptown Vision and Dr. Shim. Everyone is courteous, professional, and personal. Dr. Shim is thorough, detailed and never seems rushed to get to the next patient. If you are looking for an eye doctor, give them the chance to make your experience a positive one.

I have been a patient for over 5 years. I called to have my annual appointment and she said she could not see me for 21 days. I explained that I had no contacts left and to please fit me in earlier or create a solution so that I could get contacts before that time. She said there was nothing she could do to help me. After being a patient for so long, I expected them to be more accommodating. She was rude and unhelpful and I am no longer a patient. I have switched to Chattanooga Eye Care who was able to get me an appointment in 2 days. I don’t recommend Uptown Vision to anyone.

I called Uptown Vision of Chattanooga and scheduled an appointment. I cam in and was promptly greeted and assisted. In a matter of 30 minutes I had my preliminary tests done, was seen by the optometrist, and had picked out a great new pair of glasses. The customer service was extraordinary and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a great slection of contacts, lenses, and frames. I have no reason to look anywhere else.

Every time I go to Uptown Vision of Chattanooga I am greeted with a friendly smile. Dr. Pifer is the best, he always has my best interest and eye health in mind. An added bonus is that they have the best in designer eye-wear. They keep me looking my best!

When this place was Uptown Vision it was a wonderful business. Now that MyEyeDr has taken over it is terrible. I went in for my annual visit and received an eye exam but did not receive a contact lens fitting (which I was charged for). The doctor said “if your current contacts are working we will just leave it be.” Then when those contacts did not work, the earliest available appointment was two weeks away. So I was forced to walk around with blurry vision for two weeks. For my follow up visit, I got tied up at work and was going to be just over 15 minutes late. They said they wouldn’t see me if I couldn’t be there within 15 minutes of my appointment.I am now going elsewhere for my eye care needs.

The doctors and staff at Uptown Vision go the extra mile. I recently got new progressive glasses there to replace my old ones. Glasses are expensive, and its a bonus to work with a retailer that is actually on your side. When I was selecting my choices for the glasses, the staff person helped me select the best options for the price. She even volunteered a way I could save some money on one of the options. Thats what I call service.After using the glasses for a few days, I realized the middle and close distances werent working for me and it was difficult to see my computer screen. They replaced the glasses immediately without a fuss and said they would do so until they got it right.They have earned my respect and loyalty!

Uptown vision got me in quickly and made my visit very pleasant. They explained all my options. I thought I couldnt wear contacts anymore without reading glasses but they showed me how a little adjustment made it possible!

This place was great when it was Uptown, but went down hill when it changed to MyEyeDr. They have lost my business.

First of all, I have been going to Dr. Pifer for 3 years now, and it is always a great experience. He is thorough, and he encourages a healthy lifestyle, to me making him an even better physician, seeing eye care/health as part of your overall health.Also, the front desk staff is so nice and helpful. Last time I was in, they were having several promotions and the atmosphere was up-beat and fun. I would love to mention that I got in to see Dr. Pifer within 10 minutes, which has been my experience every time.Lastly, Leslie helped me pick out my glasses, and she was incredibly patient. It took me two visits, and about two weeks to pick out the glasses I wanted, and she didnt push me once. Instead, she was patient, followed up over the phone with me about a special request, and helpful with making suggestions from a cost perspective as well.Cant recommend them highly enough. Great experience

My daughter went to the clinic and was charge 10 dollars for her pd and 34 more dollars for her fitting... She was told that after the fact of getting her services. She was never told about that until the end.I think it is ridiculous for all of these underlining charges...What was the purpose of my insurance?Where I go I have never been charge for a fitting for contacts.Please make sure that you are not being overcharged

Called and asked for a Wednesday appt. I was given one over the phone and I requested. Confirmation email. I should have know, I never got on and when I showed up on Wednesday, they scheduled me for March instead ..... I probable won’t be back

This place has gone WAY down since it became a part of MYEYEDR. Had a appt that I setup over the phone. They lost it and seemed like they could care less. I can not stress enough how bad the service was. AVOID AT ALL COST!

We, my family, really enjoyed our visit. We were in and out, very quickly, treated well, and getting an appt. was very easy.

They told me I had near perfection vision, then wrote me a prescription for glasses. Like a fool(first time I have been to an optometrist), I trusted them and bought glasses. The glasses hurt my eyes and make everything blurry. I honestly feel like I was scammed into buying glasses. Will be going somewhere else.

My overall experience at Uptown Vision was great! They take any insurance and utilize it fully. I was interested in Rayban, eddie bauer, etc and all other places i contacted that carry these frames only offered discounts through the insurance. A young lady by the name of Bridgitte helped me when I went in and she made my experience wonderful. She helped me choose what looked good on me and you could tell she was giving you honest feedback. Sweet gal. She also followed up as soon as my glasses came in. Great Place with lots of options on frames. Customer Service was awesome!!!

They changed their closing times to 5pm and didn’t bother changing the time on front windows or on here. So people like me drive 35 minutes away and pay for parking for a 5 minute walk to find out it’s closed.

Uptown vision provides excellent patient care with a caring office environment. I would recommend them to anyone.

I would spend the money for a second opinion one of his doctors wrote me a wrong prescription I refused it and went some where else that told me he was wrong have both documents
