Elmcroft of Shallowford is an amazing place. Right off the bat when my mother in law walked in she knew it was the place for her. She didn’t want to visit any other facilities. This was the place she chose, and we are so thankful she did. The staff the all the way from the administrative to the maintenance personnel have been amazing. She wants for nothing. Her care is above and beyond expectations from any assisted living. They are all caring and compassionate not only about her feelings and care, but the families cares and concerns also. They all go out of their way to accommodate her and us.If your loved one is in need or looking for and assisted living home, I highly recommend Elmcroft At Shallowford on Lee Highway. You will find you become a part of a family setting the moment you walk in.We are so thankful we found this special place for our loved one, it has been and is a true blessing for us and our mom.

Our mother has been a resident at Elmcroft/Shallowford for just over two years. We have such peace knowing that she is no longer living alone. Meals are well balanced & appropriately proportioned. We have eaten with mom several times and have found the food to be very good. I am personally acquainted with the staff, and find them to be attentive to the needs of the residents. Activities are available each day for all who wish to participate, and frequent “outings” are arranged for residents who want to shop, eat, or to just enjoy a fun day out and about. I have requested maintenance in our mother’s room a couple of times, and the service was performed expeditiously. Our family has attended Elmcroft “family nights” on several occasions and have thoroughly enjoyed the meals, entertainment, and mingling with other families. Overall, we are pleased with Elmcroft/Shallowford. As with most Senior Living Facilities, we have seen several staff changes over the past two years, but we feel the care, assistance, and attention that our loved one is receiving has not suffered. Ken, Robbin, Billy, Kym, Kim, Scott, Quinita, Sara Ann, Pauline, Nurses, Resident Assistants, Food Preps, Housekeepers—kudos to all of you, for all that you do at Elmcroft/Shallowford!

Have visited an elderly neighbor many times and the staff is always so nice and helpful and welcoming. When I visit my neighbor he smiles and then the staff smiles. He enjoys reading the Bible and singing songs. The staff really seems to enjoy having visitors as much as the residents. The manager often shakes my hand and thanks me for visiting. Quite the blessing to have a facility such as this in the Chattanooga area.

Go visit! You will feel the warmth and friendliness of the staff and the happiness of the residents. Tera Fuller genuinely cares about seniors. I would trust Elmcroft at Shallowford to provide my mother with a safe, loving, comfortable environment where she can achieve what is most important to her.

Elmcroft of Shallowford is not just an Assisted Living and Memory Care Community, They become your family. I am always greeted with a warm, friendly smile and often a hug. I received four very welcome hugs today alone by various staff while there. And while patient care is their first priority, There is always time to honor one of Their Veterans or have a Holiday sing along. There culinary/dietary staff makes sure that all of the residents are well-nourished and the food is pleasing to their pallets! Family nights at Elmcroft are so much fun! My Grandmother has lived here for six years. I witness the staff treating my Grandmother with respect and care. They are also readily available for any discussion that needs to take place at any time. Every other month they have family night, for free, for all relatives. They have NUMEROUS indoor and out and about activities for the residents to perticipate in. This is a five star facility. Its clean and the residents are kept safe. Thank you Elm croft.

They do not respect their residents privacy. Their nursing staff break the hippa laws,The administrator allows this..I would not allow my family member to stay in this type of place..
