Don’t waste your time with Dr. George. She certainly didn’t waste any time seeing me. She had my appointment canceled as she didn’t think I needed to see her solely based on my records from a different type of specialist who recommended her office to me. Instead of referring me to a colleague, she dismissed me entirely. She is unprofessional and couldn’t be bothered by a patient with identified autoimmune diseases as well as having a family history. Dr. Diane George is not in business to help patients. Period.

Dr. George is absolutely the best. She monitored me for a while before we got an official diagnosis. She listens and her attention to detail is unmatched. You can trust when you are in her care that nothing will get past her. I cannot say enough positive things about the experience of being her patient.

Do not see Dr. George!!! She charged $600 for 30 minutes and did one test and ordered some X-rays. She missed a major diagnosis of Ankylosing Spondylitis. I had all the symptoms and already had chronic uveitis. I had tested positive for the gene that is often present. I called five times to follow up and when I communicated my concern, I was told”I should have called a sixth time.” Because of this missed diagnosis, I was greatly affected by COVID and ended up hospitalized. If she had diagnosed me properly and I was on a treatment plan the severity of my COVID a would have been much less. I was referred to a rheumatologist who diagnosed me within 15 minutes. DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR!!!!

She knows her Stuff! Highly Recommend her. She was an amazing Specialist for me. And the one thing I love , is that she pays attention to all details. Labs, appt, etc. Shows great concern and compassion for her PTs. She actually listens and explains the best route to take. She also takes on consideration how ppl feel about the med choices out there.

Its like trying to get in to see the Pope! Youre lucky to get a coveted appointment if you dont die before you get there. Strongly agree with other review. Headed to another rheumatologist also. Dont waste your time, especially when the doctor does not place any value on you, your medical issues, your time or money.

We took our 21-year old son there after waiting almost 5 months to get in.He has hand pain so bad that sometimes he cant hold a pencil. She ran a bunch of expensive tests, told us she didnt really know why he was having the joint pain, put him on an NSAID, and told us to come back in 3 months. In the meantime, our dermatologist casually questioned us about whether he was having joint pain. He ended up sending us to a different rheumatologist. She totally missed the diagnosis (psoriatic arthritis) and she had even questioned us about a bad psoriasis patch on his hand. (Turns out 35% of people with psoriasis also have joint pain. It is also more common in tall/big men and he is 64.) She didnt even order some pretty obvious blood work to be done. She also blew us off when my son said he thought it might be linked to gluten at some level. She told us in her experience, diet doesnt cause joint pain. Turns out additional blood work shows he has gluten intolerance, too. Waste of time and money.

Dr. George is a very personable and caring doctor, I am shocked at the bad reviews on here, she has always included me in the desicions about my health and what medications would be best. If Ive ever had a second thought or reservation about something she listens to me and we fix it together. She has always watched my labs very carefully.I have not had good luck with any other rheumatologist in charlotte. She really does spend a lot of time with her patients and does care.

Was just a number to the doctor. Didnt get far. Now have to waste time to see a 2nd Rheumatologist. When will doctors stand up to the system and refuse to see 20-35 patients per day, giving low quality evaluations to each and every person. As patients, we should also be standing together to stop this foolishness and demand quality care that can potentially save our lives!
