I had some dental work done yesterday and truly appreciated the way Dr. Harris talked through the procedure. He has a calming voice, and I found that I wasnt worried at all but focused on what he was doing. Every step of the way, he held instruments in front of my face to show me what he was about to use, explained what he was going to do and how it should feel. But before all this, I had emailed him to ask about the procedure, and he wrote a long message back with detailed information, personalized (not just standard information copied and pasted).

This truly outstanding practice has been my dental home since 2012. I couldnt be more pleased with everyone I have encountered at Chapel Hill Dental Group, from Debbie at the front desk to Dr Harris, Tiana, Jennifer, and last but not least, Tonda, the newest member of the staff and an exceptional hygienist. Its wonderful to know that these folks are there for me when I need them.

Today was my first time ever going to Chapel Hill Dental Group. My visit was nothing but wonderful! All the staff was extremely nice. Dr.Harris was amazing. He explained all of my options on what I need to have done. I definitely will be coming here from now on. Even if it is a hour 1/2 drive for me. It is definitely worth it!

Great people who clearly wanted to help me take care of my mom with dementia. They understood exactly what she needed and how to make her as comfortable as possible.

Dr. Credle Harris and Ms. Tonda Shaw are a great team for any family looking of the highest and best dental care in the Triangle area and beyond. We come from New Bern to enjoy the talents and skills found here at Chapel Hill Dental Group founded by Dr. Kennedy before his retirement and Dr. Leland Webb who still divides his time between the UNC DEntal School and CHDG. Ms. Shaw is a fine dental hygienist and has a very gentle but thorough touch and approach to her patients.

Dentistry is my familys profession (not mine, LOL), so I have strong opinions on what I want in a practice. I cant say enough about the Chapel Hill Dental Group. They are so fantastic! Dr. Harris is cautious, caring, and makes me feel welcomed every time my small children and I have an appointment. Yesterday I needed a crown placed and he and his team member Tiana walked me through every step of the process so I knew what to expect and wasnt apprehensive. Even the shot didnt hurt. My daughter likes going there so much that she pretends shes Dr. Harris when she is at home playing with her doctor kit. What kind, competent people!

They’ve done a phenomenal job at making it safe to visit during the Covid-19 pandemic. They’ve got great communication and make it easy to visit safely. The dental hygienists are also terrifically professional and kind people. The dentist is great too.

This practice is not just professional, clean and careful, I really appreciate that they don’t use scare tactics to try and increase the number of procedures like some other practices I have been to. I will also say that to a person they are very fun, interested and kind. I always enjoy my visits!

Seems to be very experienced dentists (Dr. Webb is the name I believe), very friendly fella and very knowledgeable. Hygienist (Ellyn) was amazing. The best cleaning Ive ever had. I believe she stayed a bit after hours to finish her job but she never rushed and didnt skip a spot. Glad I found them

Our family recently moved to the Chapel Hill area and finding a good dentist was one of the many priorities that comes with a long distance move. Kennedy Dental Group came highly recommended from a family friend. So far we are extremely pleased with the results. Dr. Harris has a great demeanor about him, especially with our 8 and 4 year old boys.He takes the time to explain himself and allows you the opportunity to ask questions. Your participation and understanding of the procedure is encouraged. I have never loved going to the dentist but CHDG has changed my outlook completely. Dr. Harris and the staff at CHDG are kind, patient, thorough and professional. They clearly explain what is needed and more importantly, what is NOT needed. They use state-of-the-art equipment that minimizes discomfort/delay. They listen to your concerns and provide the best possible course of treatment for your specific needs. This is exactly what modern day dentistry should be. I cant recommend highly enough!

She is a careful, caring professional and a pleasant person to have clean my teeth. Rates are high, but I think no more than other local dentists.

I am 56 years old and have always been a bit sheepish going to the dentist. Childhood experiences really left a negative mark on my mind. Dr. Harris and his staff always make me feel EXTREMELY comfortable when visiting. I recently had a problem tooth with an old crown that needed to be replaced. The amount of time spent making certain of an excellent fit and letting me actually see the new crown being made in the office, same day service!, made this the best dental experience of my life.If you seek a dental group that has your best interest and health at hand look no further. From regular dental cleaning to more complex procedures I dont think it can get any better. Thanks guys!

My husband John and I have been seen at this practice for over 40 years. We have always had the best possible experience -- including scheduling appointments, the occasional referral to a specialist outside the practice, being seen on a Saturday in a dental emergency, and every appointment from cleaning through crowns. We cant imagine going anywhere else.

Dr. Kennedy has been my dentist for over 30 years, so I am obviously a fan. He hires terrific dental hygienists, who help you know how your gums are doing, what areas needs more flossing, and how to avoid floss burns. Dr. Kennedy recently advised me that the configuration of my jaw may lead to sleep apnea, and he was right.

I am an endodontist who has moved to the Triangle area from Chicago after retiring from 35 years of private practice and teaching endodontics at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry. I selected Dr. Kennedy as my dentist after privately asking some of my colleagues who teach at the UNC College of Dentistry for names of general dentists in the area whose work they respect and who they would trust with the care of their families. I have not been disappointed with that decision. I feel that the care I have received in Dr. Kennedys office has been outstanding, he and all of his staff have been very nice, pleasant, friendly, and accommodating, and Dr. Kennedy appears to keep the office up to date with the state of the art in dental technology, procedures, and technics. I am very happy with the care that I receive from Dr. Kennedy and from everybody I have been in contact with in his office. Kudos to Dr. Kennedy and to his entire staff!
