I was seen promptly and was treated well. The nurse and doctor were great and were up front with all the procedures and recommendations. No complaints! Id go back here if I needed to again.

The care here is fine. Just be aware that if you go in on the weekend or late in the day and you have labs, Christie will probably be sent them to a Carle lab and your insurance may not cover it. The doctor will NOT tell you. Apparently there are signs up in each room, but when you are sick enough to go to urgent care, who looks at a sign. Ridiculous.

Always extremely late, poor communication with patients, rushed doctors who don’t seem to want to answer my questions. A lot of money spent for little to no healthcare help. I regret switching from Carle.

Great experience!! I cut my hand really bad. I thought I was going to lose a big piece of skin. Dr Ben Johnston stiched up the wound. Put my hand in a cast. I had to take a week off of work. He emailed my employer and even called to explain why I couldnt use my hand. My hand Is healing up wonderful. Back to work. Thanks Dr Ben Johnston and friendly staff.

I arrived with very few people ahead of me, got registered, then a woman holding a four yr. old boy came in with a broken elbow. While I understand this bumped my ear/sinus problem out of line, and while I recognized it was not Christies fault that this mother did not take her child to the emergency room, it was their fault that the clinic is so small I waited over an hour to be seen. The nurse practictioner who saw me had such heavily accented English that I struggled to understand her. She pronounced that I had a sinus infection and prescribed antibiotics without swabbing it to culture it, in spite of the big poster on the wall about overuse of antibiotics. I was suffering and desperate so decided to roll the dice. I did get better after a few days, but dont know if it was the antibiotic or the fact that I took several peoples recommendation to do sinus rinses. Due to my sensitivity to antibiotics, I am left with severe, debilitating depression. I wont go back to Christie. Anyone know any good female Carle doctors they recommend?

If I could give less than one star, I would. Second time here and both times had an excruciatingly long wait and unfriendly staff. Was told half hour and ended up being one and a half hour wait. Followed by the nurse practitioner telling me my illness was viral caused by my interactions on campus (haven’t been there in over a week), and ending with “eat healthy, exercise, even though no one does”. First time we were here my husband had kidney stones (which we knew and told them at check in), they ran a urinalysis, said he has kidney stones, and said they couldn’t treat him and he needed to go to the ER. Next time, we’ll just do that in the first place. Don’t waste your time here.

I’m from out of state and needed to seek medical treatment. The staff were very helpful, courteous and professional.

Ive been here a few times for a few different reasons. The staff is always nice and the office is clean. However, the waiting room is small (8 chairs crammed in) and the front desk isnt always honest about wait times. I was told when I checked in that it would be about 10 minutes. An hour later, my son and I were taken into a room. When I told the nurse that I was unhappy about waiting an additional 50 minutes, she brushed it off and said they had ten people here before the doors opened. She left after the initial check of my son and then in walked the front desk lady. She say down and explained to me that she was telling the people on the phone that it was a 30-45 minute wait because they were not yet here.... and then she told me she quoted me 10 minutes because there was only one sheet (one patient) on the wall when I asked and she could not factor in the x-rays that came back etc. Understandable except that two different patients were called back within 5 minutes of me asking and then a third was paged in addition to the x-ray patient that returned and was taken back.

Walked in pain, and (Liz) had a horrible attitude and said she did the very minimum to even help in my situation.
