Unless you enjoy throwing money into the wind, DO NOT visit Carle. I showed up for a routine PCP visit and 15 minutes later I was gone with one less skin tag. A month later I get billed for over $1000 worth of medical bills. Over $1k for a 15 minute service that the doctor assured me would be covered by insurance. All while the CEO is a multimillionaire making hand over fist off of these scam services. A complete joke.

Dr. Jain is extremely dismissive and has very poor bedside manner. I wasnt able to get out my concerns before I was dismissed and talked over.I cant speak highly enough of the staff- absolutely incredible. I wish the doctor could be as kind and caring.

These people don’t pick up the front desk phones ! I been on the line for 40 minutes and not one person has picked up the phone . I called previously and picked the option of call back and I never got a call back. Im so furious.

Went in to convenient care because I was experiencing side pain. I mentioned to the nurse that I was 10 weeks pregnant so my concern was my fetus. When the doctor came in he didn’t know I was pregnant even though I mentioned it to the front desk receptionist as well as the nurse. The doctor then proceeded to tell me it had nothing to do with the baby and asked me how did I “know” I was actually pregnant. Basically a waste of two hours! I was sent home with no answers and no idea if my fetus was healthy or not. Two weeks later I found out I had ovarian cysts which I also mentioned to the doctor since i had them in a previous pregnancy. A complete joke!!

Rotten experience in the ER in the Pace maker difular heart unit no on said I was a fallcouldnt get cna never helped me to put my leg compressor on and was rude

Why are there even desk receptionists if they dont answer the phone? Or check you in? Or schedule appointments? Seriously what are they even being paid to do?

I would first like to say that this was not my first appointment at this location. There has never been anyone to greet or assist patients at the door when entering the building. The self check in kiosks are not as easy to use as they could be and there has never been staff there to assist with the process. During all of my appointments staff at the entrance desk have been sitting and talking to each other. I have been to The Fields,Sports Medicine and the main campus for appointments and have always been greeted at the entrance door and again at the check in kiosk by friendly staff members. At my last appointment at the Curtis facility there were 7 staff members gathering and talking to another employee while I waited for a scheduled appointment that was 15 minutes late due to their choice to gather for a situation that could have easily been handled by one person. I have been very disappointed with my past experiences at the Curtis location. My provider and his office staff are Amazing but I think the first impression of the facility and other departments need a HUGE improvement. I am only giving this review 3 stars instead of 1 due to the excellent experience in my providers department.

I love my actual Dr at this location, but dear god there isnt a force on this planet that could get these people to answer the phone.

Doctor was great and I looked forward to having him as my primary care physician. Was told by the front desk that all I would owe was $35 for a co-pay being i have UnitedHealth care insurance. 6 weeks later I recieved the bill and there is an additional $250.00 addressed to United behavioral health..... all I did was have a 30min conversation. No test ran,no physical only listened to my heartbeat. Guessing this is a facility charge i wasnt told about. How do these scumbags sleep at night ..

Really didnt address my problems

This was my first time ever seeing a dermatologist and it was horrible honestly. I expected way much more to be done but the visit was short and all they did was ask a few questions and told me to go buy whatever. A month later after being told to buy Minocycline by Jeremy (I believe that was his name) and my head was hurting everyday. I was just given a bill for my visit and it’s over $400! 400? Basically for nothing. Don’t even waste your time coming here to see a dermatologist. They’re just trying to scam you out of your money during a pandemic.One positive is that Lisa from financial was very nice and helpful.

Not bad if you can get an appointment. I spend a lot of time on hold, being misdirected, disconnected etc. Also insanely expensive ! 17 + minutes currently on hold. And then they want patients to answer surveys regrading appointments, when Ive already wasted so much time, sorry.

I love the care I get here. All staff is friendly and helpful. The My Carle call in to schedule convenient care means I never wait longer than 10 minutes in the waiting room.

I have received great care, my appointments are always on time. I go upstairs and check in there. The desk staff is always pleasant and efficient. The doctors with whom Ive dealt have always been friendly and professional.Generally I can recommend Carle, but Carle on Curtis does deserve special attention as a place where one can receive excellent care from individuals who seem genuinely interested in the best outcome.

Awesome staff! I have never had a bad experience here. My primary doctor is at this office, my kids pediatrician, and Ive been to urgent care multiple times. Every time I have attended I have had a very positive experience. I would highly recommend this office to those of us on the south side of town.

My doctor was fine, however the bill WITH insurance was astronomical. A 30 min visit for a sinus infection cost $450! Ive never been to a doctor where you get charged by the doctor AND a facility charge. The facility charge was MORE than the doctor! Insane. Never going back. What a racket.

Took my wife in for symptoms of bladder infection took over an hour before she was called to the back. Speed is definitely not on there list.

First time visit with Raazia Aftab, MD.She is wonderful. Haven’t been doctor in while. Headache so bad made appointment and few other things. I thought like other past experiences would say all cause of sleep disorder. But headaches are different from that. She LISTENED and didn’t just blow me off cause sleep disorder. She exam me and symptoms and found true cause why headaches so bad.Start new medication with her and now mild headaches.! Thank You so much. Also nurse was great. Didn’t have wait long at all.

I scheduled my sons appointment at convenient care online through mycarle, and we got in right away. Staff was friendly and took care of my son very quickly.

Just for sick people

Horrible. I had a procedure done where they did NOT tell me the limitations until after the procedure, whenever I call I am treated like absolute trash. Wait on hold for 10+ minutes to be talked down on. Also, I would suggest staying away from certain male doctors, especially if you have younger children. I had to change providers because I was so creeped out by one of their physician. If you have any sort of mental illness they will just try to send you to the Pavilion immediately if you call and say you would like to speak with your doctor about getting on medication for it, when you are clearly not trying to harm and only help yourself. Always research what theyre giving or doing to you because they WILL misinform you/ withhold information from you.

Dont take your kids here. If you dont obey these doctors, they call child services. Wasnt life threatening but, I was told if I walk out with my son and go to work, theyd call CPS for medical neglect. Just concluded today with charges unfounded. Strike 1 against Carle.

Went here with my daughter and granddaughter and everyone was so caring and helpful.

I have only had terrible experiences with Carle Clinic and I do not recommend it to anyone. On my first visit, I went in vomiting blood; the doctor took my vitals, did a swab for a strep test, wrote a prescription for some throat medication with kodine in it, and sent me away. The doctor was extremely rude to me and the friend who took me in, as well as the medical student that was shadowing her. The front desk staff was very helpful, but did not record my name or information correctly, even though I handed them my drivers license and insurance card to copy from since I couldnt talk. They then billed the wrong insurance. Six months later, that issue has finally been straightened out, but their clinic isnt supported by my BlueCrossBlueShield. Small wonder. My second visit there was over a dog bite (Im a vet student and a friend was bitten by a stray) and the experience was exactly the same. They also had no idea what to do in that situation or how the rabies virus works. Frustrating and disappointing and a huge waste of time and money. Dont go there.

Good doctors n staff friendly n professional

This Carle has the longest wait and rudest staff that works in the front. I waited over 30 minutes just to see Lisa Williams who runs the account services. It didn’t seem she was with a patient but with a friend. You could hear laughing and endless chatting back and forth from the outside of her office. Really “perfessional”.

If I could rate them 0 stars I would! I scheduled an appointment two weeks ago and they just called me to reschedule it, when my appointment is Friday. I requested a few hours off work so I could go to this appointment, the least they could do is schedule me with a different provider!

They always are on point and their staff is very friendly and ive been to 4 differen Carle locations,2 in champaign and 2 in urbana. Had great experiences

The front desk personnel are only there to be rude if you dont want to use the self check-in kiosk. If I have to do the secretarys job, I should get employee benefits and pay.

Brett Taylor the PA is dangerously lax in his assessments and care. He has no business working in that convenient care clinic!

I live out of town and they did everything in their power to get all of my tests an appointments squeezed into three days instead of the weeks it would normally take to see all of tge doctors that I did.

It usually is, I went somewhere else for an eye exam the other day. Never again. Carle rocks in health care!

I lost my job and set up an extension so I could pay my bill. Well the day I go to pay my bill they tell me they sent it to collections the day before......thanks for payment plan, demons.
