We love Kids Dental Smiles! We are newer to the area, hadn’t set up the kids dentist yet, and we were in a bind when our son started having some tooth pain. The staff at Kids Dental Smiles were so kind and accommodating on the phone, squeezed us in, and we were so happy with the visit. The office was thorough, clean, and made the experience fun. Our “anxious of the dentist” kiddo had a great experience and came home smiling even after having a tooth pulled! Thank you Kids Dental Smiles! They had availability so did a first visit for my toddler a few months ago and everything the doctor said (forgot his name, he was very tall) came true a few days ago. So I definitely trust that particular doctors judgement. The place was small but clean and everyone was friendly. Its a bit far from our place so not sure if we will be back but if we were nearby, I would consider it.

The staff at Kids Dental is amazing. My son had a cavity filled and was very anxious, Dr. Engels and Breanna were so patient with him. They answered ALL of his questions and made him feel comfortable. They went above and beyond. I am one grateful mama!

I have experience with them for my sons teeth cleaning and braces. Excellent dentists. Theyre great with my teenage son, he especially loves his orthodontist that was in the army, hes the best. Our three year old had to have some work done and the appointments needed to be split. I was so worried after the first one he would not want to go back. But, by his next next appointment he was so ready and actually excited to return. The staff is so attentive and sweet. I can’t appreciate them enough for treating our kiddos so well and for making the experience as smooth as possible!

Awful experience. The dentist was silent and cold and did not explain ANYTHING to my son as he set up to work. The only time the doctor did speak to my son was to tell him there’s no crying allowed in “My” office. The dental assistant, Jasmina wouldn’t ask or direct my son. She just pushes his chest back then pushes his forehead back in the chair. . My son is 7 and he was terrified and confused. When he was begging to know why he has to have a nose mask on or any question she would just keep saying “because.” “Because”. No explanation just one word “because” which made my child even more confused. No dental work was done but $280 was charged. No kind gesture. No kind of anything. Very cold people. I would never leave my child alone with that dentist or tech again.The front desk business office manager was nice and professional. The other two members of staff I interacted with were not. My 4 kids have been with Kids Dental Smiles for 11 years, since my youngest, 12 yo twins, were 17 months old. The practice has been very consistent with staff. We are always welcomed warmly, and Dr. Engels makes it a point to get in a quick, catch-up chat. We had our visit today after using the same pediatric dentist for nearly 8 years. When our insurance changed, we had to find a new provider. They have AMAZING staff. They were super charismatic and were very helpful in handling my daughters anxiety over dentist visits. Pricing for the procedures needed are extremely affordable. The facility was very clean and sanitized through out our visit. The Dr. was knowledgeable and reiterated everything in laments terms so that I could understand the necessary treatments (my poor kiddos got my deep crevices so they are cavity prone no matter how much we brush!)Overall I would highly recommend this establishment. My young son lost one of his adult teeth in an accident and they were able to get him in and and fix it! They were very friendly, great environment and this is now my go to place. Love them and can’t recommend enough!

We love Dr Engles and his staff. My sons have been seen at Kids Dental Smiles for over 2 years. They are understanding, compassionate, and patient with both my young sons who have Autism. They do everything they can to make sure they have a healthy experience while at the office. They reduce stimuli, see them together, and take sensory issues into consideration. This is great place for kids treatment. We’ve been to their Cedar Park center and our experience has been quite pleasant. The staff is very friendly and always have smile on their faces. Our daughter loves Jasmina there. The way she greeted her and played with her while doing treatment, she’s a fan. We will always be going to this place for our kids.

I took my 7 year old son with Autistic disorder to the Cedar Park location. The staff was very kind and patient with us. We had been to a different dentistry before, so we were here for a second opinion, which turned out to be the best decision we made. I am so glad my friend recommended this place to us. They do seem to be pretty busy, and waiting area is a bit small, so it did seem a little crowded at one point, but you can always ask them if you can wait in the car. I also saw them being very effective with desinfecting things and following covid-19 guidelines. I would certainly recommend it.

Easy to make an appointment as you can request one online even when the office is closed. Office was clean and had a play area for the kids. Seperate parents retreat with coffee and sitting area. Room with cool arcade style games for older kids. Office staff was very friendly and helpful. Nursing staff was very friendly and kind to the kids as well. My granddaughter was given a balloon and rubber duck while she waited on the dentist. Exam room had books and children’s movies playing to help keep kids busy. Rooms were a little small, but actually very efficient for their use. Dentist was excellent with my granddaughter (she is one and a half). He was attentive to concerns and was quick and efficient, which was perfect for small ones with short attention spans. Would highly recommend this dental office.

Always friendly smiles, happy faces, and my girls (3 & 5) love the entire staff! Under normal circumstances, they provide a cute play area for the infants and a fun arcade area for the older kids. The kids receive a balloon, cute toothbrush and goodies, and a little toy after each visit! I highly recommend!

This is a really great dentist office. My kids enjoy coming here and have no problems getting their teeth cleaned. We used to go to the Pflugerville location and see Dr. Gudapati before we moved to the area. His demeanor was excellent for children and adults. Both locations have great setups that are inviting to kids and great staff.The only thing I wish dentists had more information and/or recommendations on is holistic dentistry and remineralization. The common treatment for cavities is fillings but Ive heard of a select few dentists treating their patients without the use of harsh chemicals or fluoride. Im sure thats never going to be mainstream, but it is interesting for me as we do try to live pretty holistically.Until then, this is a warm & welcoming dentist office to visit!

My girls had a great experience here. Jazmina was their dental hygienist and she made them feel at ease. The dentist was very easy to talk to and happily answered all of our questions. The front staff was also helpful with checkin and the pre-visit paperwork submission process! The girls even got balloons and prizes at the end of the visit 😀

We got reminded to fill out the medical and vaccine form before arrival. The dentist was so nice and did cleaning gently without hurting. The front desk staff is friendly.

I just got back from an appointment with my 3 kids and I am so impressed with the efficiency and care at this office. My kids have been patients here for about 2 years now and it’s always a smooth process with the most friendly service. They also have orthodontic treatment here so that’s an added benefit.

I had a mediocre exprience. The dentist was great, but the hygenists were overly rude. They did not seem like they cared much about the patient, making me feel very unwelcomed and uncomfortable. They basically ignored me the entire time. In addition, they did seem to know what they were doing! Overall, would not recommend!

Usually the spend is does really good but today when we went my daughter seen a woman dentist and she usually sees the guy thats there. And the woman was completely out of line towards my daughter. I dont want to go into full detail but if you make an appointment there I would advise you not going and seeing the woman dentist.

They have the nicest staff here. My kiddos love them. They really take their time to explain procedures to you, and they dont bombard you with too much paperwork.

Our son has Autism. Due to Autism, my son requires special needs, and tlc. Kids Dental Smiles seems like a kid’s play land. It does NOT feel intimidating or scary, sometimes dental offices seem frightening to children. My son gets a balloon and a rubber ducky every time we go. My son is obsessed with balloons and although he detests his teeth being looked at, he looks forward to the rubber ducky and balloon afterward. The decor and color scheme is super kid friendly. There are TVs on the ceiling, so kids can watch TV while the dentist looks at their teeth. Not during COVID, the office has a play area for young kiddos and for older kiddos there is an arcade!! I mean whose dentist has an arcade?! We always receive exceptional care and advice! This office is super accommodating, very knowledgeable and professional. Everyone follows up with you when they say they will, and they can even send you text reminders for appointments.

Kids dental smiles is a great dentist office for children. The dentists as well as the hygienists are very warm and welcoming and do their best to make the children comfortable while in the dentist chair. Great experience both time till now. We took our 3 yr (bit late) for his first dental exam and he was not willing to cooperate. The staff was very helpful, not pushing, and didnt do the usual cleaning. The doctor later did the cleaning himself. Therefore, our son was excited to go this time.This time he had a great time, he had a good time with the hygienist for the cleaning.Bonus: he got a coin to get a toy and some games on tablet in the game room to spoil him :)

We LOVE kids dental smiles!! We’ve been taking my daughter every 3 months since she was 8 months old and have always had a great experience. The staff and the dental assistants are so nice and friendly with my daughter and they remember her every time we come in. The doctors are very gentle and patient with her and even though she doesn’t get upset anymore, her first couple times she was fussy and upset and the doctor was very calm with her. Plus she loves her rubber duckies she gets after every visit!:) We recently moved and it’s a little far from us now but we make the commute there cause we love it so much!

We love going to this dentist. My son and daughter both had to have a procedure done that involved being sedated. The staff is so patient and kind. If you have multiple kids they make it easy for me to bring all three of mine at once. I would definitely recommend this place for sure 😀

Dr. AARON ENGELS is amazing. He treated my 4 year old daughter. We went there to take a second opinion, as her previous dentist suggested to extract 4 upper teeth, that too with general anesthesia and procedure in the hospital.Dr. Engels not only saved 3 of her teeth, but only recommended to extract the most affected one. Also, the medical sedation done in the clinic was very effective and she remained calm throughout the treatment.The staff is very welcoming and caring too. I am very fortunate to find them, and I dont need to find any other dentist now.I highly recommend them.

Kids Dental Smiles is a wonderful practice! From the time I called to schedule my three kids first appointment, their customer service was fantastic. I was immediately given an appointment for two days later and at the same time slot for my children. The staff are kind and very informative. Both the Dr and the nurse were so kind and knowledgeable. My daughter who is generally so nervous at the dentists office was so calm and not crying!!! Which is huge. 7/29/19 Update review: Kids Dental Smiles has been my kids dentist for at least 2 years now. Ive always had exceptional service from the front office to the back. I took my child in today to have her spacer removed and the assistant was able to save me a visit by squeezing her in for a cleaning. I truly appreciated the time they took to see her. Dr Engels has been the best dentist for my kids. I truly love this office.Ms. Gina was amazing. She made my daughter feel very comfortable during her x-rays and cleaning. Dr. Engels was great and very thorough.

This is the dental office with the friendliest staff! Everyone is so pleasant from beginning to end. I have been bringing my kids here every six months for 3 years, and even they like to go. The dentists are thorough, and explain everything in an easy to understand manner. All the technicians are super friendly, and great with the kiddos. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great kids dentist!

The doctor and the rest of the team rocked! My little one is 18 months old and it was his first dental appointment. They explained everything before they started and made my son and both my husband and myself feel comfortable. They also gave great suggestions on how to do at home teeth brushing since my little one wiggles allot when we try to brush his teeth at home.

Fantastic customer service all around. The receptionists are sweet and friendly. The nurse aides are patient and friendly with my 5 year old. They try to make the kiddo feel calm and not scared (though it may not succeed, but they try non the less). The actual dentist also seems very friendly and definitely answers all the questions we through at him. I think this is a great place for kids. Good luck!

I’ve never been to a pediatric dental office like Kids Smile Dental before. My boys LOVED it. They have a very small child friendly waiting area, arcade room for bigger kids, a small children’s movie room and a “parental retreat” room with coffee and a tv. The cherry on top is the fantastic staff and great attitudes upon arrival until the very end of our appointments. Well done! We’ll be back for sure.

Everyone - from the receptionist to the hygienists to the dentists - are all warm, friendly, and helpful. They are all very sweet with kids, but also straight up with the parents. The office is like a kids paradise, with arcade games, toys, movies, balloons, and stickers, and they make potentially scary things like teeth cleaning and x rays into collaborative experiences, where your kid is helping and giving their input. Weve been going there since my daughter has had teeth, and they make it so much fun for her that she looks forward to it every time. Also, she cares more about brushing and flossing so that she can show Dr. Engels how well shes been taking care of her teeth. We love Kids Dental Smiles! And one more thing - the people at the front desk are ALWAYS pleasant and friendly. That may seem like a small thing, but I think it can make or break a doctors office. So I really appreciate how nice they are. If youre looking for a place to take your kids, this place is a gem!

LOVE this office! I cannot say enough good things about them. Been taking my children since my oldest was a year old, and he is now 10. They are patient and know all the tricks to get their jobs done, and the office is happy and colorful and helps the kids enjoy the experience. Dr. G and his entire staff are fabulous at their jobs. My 4-year-old gets pretty nervous in the dentists chair, but they are so patient and sweet with her and she gets better about it every time we go. This office makes going to the dentist a HAPPY experience.

Both of my boys have autism and a fear of the dental office. The Kids Dental Smiles staff was outstanding today!! Dr Engles and his hygienists were patient, kind, caring, and informative with both of my boys during their visit. Been taking my kids here for about 5 years, i love how dedicated, friendly and patient are with my girls.

New to the state I had to find a dentist for our son. This morning I called and was able to get my son in the same afternoon after having to change my original morning appointment due to overbooking myself. The staff was beyond friendly from me calling multiple times to my husband and son going in for the actual visit with the dentist. My husband said they were extremely nice and caring, they saw our son earlier than his appointment time because my husbdan has arrived early. Paperwork was a breeze since I was able to do it online and all my husband had to do was go inside and sign in with ID and not have to fool with the initial paperwork 😁 I would recommend them to anyone looking for a dentist.

My son has adhd so I can sometimes be hard for him to sit still long enough for a dentist to do what they need to do. We had been referred over here and they’re able to get everything that he needs done quickly and he is so comfortable and calm every time we go. As a parent I love that he’s comfortable because it makes it less stressful for everybody involved !!

I take my 12 year old to Kids Dental Smiles for his regular Dentistry AND his Orthodontics. They are wonderful! The staff is very friendly and professional! They have always gone above and beyond to answer any questions and help with any rescheduling. Very happy with them and highly recommend!

I am so happy I found this office! After being deceived and quoted incorrect prices from another dentist, I contacted Kids Dental Smiles and from the moment I started talking and trying to explain what I’d been through with Vista Ridge Family Dental, they figured out how to best handle our situation. They fit us in that very day, got my daughter’s records from the previous dentist THAT DAY, offered to do free xrays, and were able to do her filling THAT day - at the correct price! The customer service was exceptional. Everyone I came into contact with was great. The office had plenty for kids to do while waiting and even a nice sitting area for parents. What I loved most, is that the staff is very knowledgeable! They were top notch, knew what they were doing and what needed to be done, how to properly bill me and explained everything. We will be coming here from now on, for all three of my kiddos!

Thank you Kids Dental Smiles!My daughter fell and hit her mouth on a stool we had out. She ended up pushing one of her two front teeth way back in her mouth and was bleeding and in pain. She also could not close her mouth properly.First thing I did was call Kids Dental Smiles and even though it was an hour before closing they said come right in.The nurses were all amazing in calming both Maddie and Mommy down since we were a bit worked up. Maddie got stickers, a movie to watch, sunglasses - whatever she need to stay and feel calm.The doctor came in and was very calm while examining Maddie. He then explained the next steps of laughing gas, a quick shot, and moving the tooth back in place.All said and done and we out of there in just under an hour and her precious smile is back.I highly recommend Kids Dental Smiles!

The dentist side has been fine, but orthodontics is over-priced ($6200) and has taken on too many patients. It’s nearly impossible to schedule an appointment. I feel the orthodontist is over-booked and doesn’t have time to provide quality care. For what I paid I would expect much better service. I’m just a number here as they attempt to push through as many people as possible.

I will point out only the things I want them to do.1.If possible reduce the wait time. I had to wait for 20 minutes. If it can be reduced it will be super. (I am saying 20 minutes wait time is ok, but if it can be reduced that is even better ;-) ).2. Getting bit sooner appointment slot is very very hard. If it can be improved it will be super awesome.

Wonderful experience every time! Kid friendly from the time you walk in. Very eye appealing. Always on schedule with minimal wait time. The hygienists and Doctors both take time to explain and make the child comfortable. We have been going for years with our oldest and just started with our infant! Very gentle with all ages!

I highly recommend Kids Dental Smiles. The staff are all great. When my four and a half year old daughter had a couple fillings done, I was able to sit in the room with her while they did the procedure. The dentist and assistant let us know, in kid friendly terms, what was being done each step of the way. Great experience here and during her routine cleaning appointment as well.

This place is great! I have taken my almost 2 year old here twice and had a great experience both times! We had some billing issues the second time (thanks to my insurance no them) and they so patiently worked through it with me even though it took a few months!
