Worst place ever. My dad was transferred from hospital with a broken neck to get therapy and rehab. This place let him fall three times and third time major stress fracture to rotator cuff and bruised entire bicep. The claimed her never fell. Therapy was a big joke and insurance fraud. They appears 2 times for maybe 5 minutes over a period of 4.5 days.He was moved to Encompass rehab and immediately began improving.

My dad has been here for a year. He has dementia and it was getting hard to care for him at home. I did not come to the decision to put him a nursing home easily. Im so very glad I made the right decision. He has thrived and put on weight. He is well liked and loved there. The proximity to home played a big factor. They helped get him all the help he needed and helped me get through all the paperwork I was not familiar with. True life savors to what I considered a trying time. Level of care is amazing as are the staff and coordinators. Chastity Simmons, thank you for being so patient with me.

This place is amazing! All of the staff is very attentive from the nurses desk (Andrea, Suzy, Marsha etc.) to the floor (Jerry, Austin, the twins, Jo, Patricia etc.) It is clean. The staff is loving and caring. Being in this industry takes a special calling and New Hope Manor has it! This is a family! (corporate we need to keep them all happy, so they stay!)Of course you must have an amazing behind the scenes team to make the floor so outstanding! Lily, Suzanne and Suzanne thank yall for being so awesome! Dont let me forget to mention the wonderful Activities Dept., those two girls running it are above and beyond fantastic! Almost forgot physical therapy! They rock!Thank all of yall at New Hope for taking such great care of my mom and always being on top of all of her needs! It truly means the world to me to know I dont have to worry about her and when there is a concern yall (especially Andrea her hall nurse) are always a step ahead of me!

These folks at New Hope are phenomenal! Before COVID hit the facility, they were organized and had a plan. They were prepared. Lily worked day and night in preparation. Even from home she was taking our calls. Who does that? Lily, a loving, caring lady that loves her residents. Lily always goes above and beyond the call of duty for her residents which is so appreciated. Susan is the backbone of New Hope. She is so very strong and courageous as she takes on all of these challenges. She keeps everyone on track and is always prepared. I think she is at the facility more than her own home. That is dedication and it is greatly appreciated. During the COVID outbreak all of the staff went above and beyond the call of duty and it is so much appreciated. I couldnt imagine how difficult it was to keep everything so organized and sanitized. Mariam, she is in activities, a special thanks to her, for keeping all of the residents going forward with life during this time. I can not tell you how important Mariam is in her position. All of the activities that she prepares for them is incredible. On her own time, she will shop and prepare activities at home. She is always diligently working on keeping the residents living. From the housekeeping staff, nurses, CNAs to Jo our maintenance guy they are all phenomenal! And did a phenomenal job during our outbreak of Covid. I am so blessed to have everyone at New Hope in my life! Thank yall!

My father was a resident at New Hope Manor for a little over a year. From day one we felt welcomed and cared for. My dad soon began calling New Hope Manor “home.” This alone was a huge testament to the level of comfort he felt in such a short time. I’d especially like to recognize, Perla and Maria, two of the most genuine, caring, hard-working, compassionate people I have ever encountered--they are the best of the best! Kay, the social worker, went above and beyond many times for my dad and our family. Lily, the director of nursing, is on top of her staff and is very professional. April, the activities director, is great, loves her job, and loves the residents. My dad always looked sharp--hair, beard, etc.--Lori and the in-house salon is top-notch. The cleaning staff kept the facility looking and smelling great. My dad had no complaints on the food--he loved it and they were always generous with whatever he wanted. Joe and his maintenance staff were always kind and helpful. Overall, we are very pleased with our experience, and would highly recommend New Hope Manor.

I moved my mother here about 2 months ago and am very happy with the results. Everything I was told during admissions turned out to be true. Very clean, bright, and well kept place. I would recommend to others, and already have recommended it. My mom is very happy.

Very professional quality facility. Every staff member treated with the utmost respect and care. The doctor was extremely helpful in finding several things that needed direct attention. The head of nursing was extremely helpful with the doctor to explain to me just what i needed. I would not want to get up as being so weak but was encouraged daily to do rehab and get up.i watched as they would treat each person with kindness and love.if i ever have to recommend or go to rehab again it would be New Hope.where they actually care for their clients as family. Thank you to All the wonderful staff..

I called this place to look for a nursing home to place my mother in. Was on hold waiting for the admissions office and got disconnected. Called them back and the woman who answered said that the person in admissions was with another person and they are leaving at 5 so I would need to call back tomorrow. When I told the person on the phone I would be looking somewhere else because I didn’t feel appreciated, she hung up on me

I WORKED HERE.the staff inside are the most corrupt money hungry, cheap and unfair people i have met in my life.i signed up to take a CNA course here and at that time was offered to work in the kitchen to help prepare the food for the residents. biggest mistake of my life. the boss inside of the kitchen screams at her employees and cusses and calls them names behind their backs, she has had 4 people quit in the past 2 weeks and the boss has only worked there for 3 months. the kitchen is always out of food and is constantly throwing away moldy food. the meals prepared are disgusting to look at and the dishes are dropped and then picked up off the floor and served to people that are on life support. the residents do not get to do anything all day but watch TV and sit inside. they are not allowed outside and there are not enough CNAs on the floor to serve everybody efficiently. i have personally spoon fed patients that would otherwise have not eaten that night and have seen the nurses FORGET to give patients their food. the facility is very outdated and needs major repairs. the roof and ceiling in the kitchen collapsed during hurricane Harvey and is stuck together with a board and some screws. it is a very sad place to work let alone live. please stay as far away from this hell hole as you can. the patients are mistreated and the staff is a unprofessional revolving door. DO NOT LET YOUR LOVED ONES SUFFER HERE.

I cant tell you how much I wish we hadnt put my dad in this facility for respite care. My mother was going in for major surgery and I had to be at her bedside. Thus we put my dad in New Hope Manors care. After only 2 weeks there, they allowed him to get severely dehydrated which then resulted in lowering his immune system. Then he got pneumonia. I had him transferred to a hospital where he died three days later. I had my Aunt, Uncle and cousin going by and seeing him everyday. I went by every morning before heading to the hospital. What happens to residents whos family never sees them? If this is how they deal with basic needs ... I urge you to run the other way and take your family member elsewhere.

My mom has been a resident for the past 8 months. She moved here from a facility outside of Houston, where things were stolen, toilets overflowed, and medicine was given willy-nilly. While New Hope isnt perfect, the staff is responsive and, for the most part, they truly care about the patients.
