I had been going to other foot specialist for about 5 years to get rid of plantar warts. Within months of seeing Dr. Sharkey she not only got rid of them but have yet to return. I saw Dr. Sharkey and she is absolutely the BEST! She talks to you (not down to you) and truly feels your pain. I was throughly explained ALL my options and together we made a treatment plan that worked for me! I went in for an ingrown toenail. Her PA injected me in my left foot. However failing to heed my warnings of nerve pain during injection, the PA Kayley proceeded to push the needle in further to get the visit done quicker. I have been to my neurologist and my new podiatrist. Both have said that the nerve damage is permanent. Dr. Sharkey initially said that it would go away after 2-3 weeks. However the pain and discomfort have lasted for over 2 years now. The front of my foot is permanently numb with a feeling of pins and needles. I get a throbing pain whenever I walk and nerve shocks. I also walk with my left foot angled toward the left and I have a permanent limp because of the pain. I have to live with this the rest of my life now. Avoid North Austin Foot and Ankle. Dr. Sharkey herself may be skilled and kind but her practice refuses to take responsibility for permanently damaging me due to their negligence in properly training their PAs. It has cost me thousands in treatment only to result in reducing the pain a little bit. I have commented on many review sites explaining what they did to me. I will continue to spread the word until they acknowledge the fact that they damaged me.

Had pain in my right foot and was able to get an appointment within a couple of days to see Dr Sharkey. She was thorough did a medical exam and I was able to get x rays in house completed. I didn’t feel rushed and she was able to get to the root of the problem and not just mask the symptoms which I appreciated. The office is definitely practicing COVID safety procedures and was fast in getting me seen by Dr Sharkey. Great experience and looking forward to the follow up.

My husband and I both needed help with our ingrown toenails. Dr Sharkey and her team took good care of us. We had the surgery for ingrown toe nails on both side of each big toe. She did the surgery in under 10 minutes. She was thorough and quick. And they healed beautifully! No more pesky ingrown nail pain and maintenance.In addition, I have pain in my feet at the end of each day. My visit was great. I had an existing appointment for a week from now but developed a ulcer on great toe and got in less than 12 hours. The care was great! The podiatry assistant was efficient and very knowledgeable and was very pleasant and fun to talk to. Dr Sharky was caring and reassured me that it was healing fine and treated my callouses and gave me some tips. Being a retired Pediatrician, I have always felt that she was focused on me and not the computer! I highly recommend this practice and in fact referred my wife!

Very professional. I came in and was seen at the exact time of my appointment. They did a quick x-ray onsite, got results and it was all within my Copay. They showed me how to do stretches to help the pain in my foot and emailed me specific shoe recommendations based on my arch. I was very happy with their professionalism and swiftness of care.

Easy to schedule appointments and right now Dr. Sharkey will do telemedicine appointments which is great during the pandemic. Office and nursing staff are attentive. I would highly recommend this doctor.

I have had contacts with five foot and ankle doctors. Anne Sharkey has impressed me the most. Also, I have found the Foot & Ankle Institute one of the most friendly and helpful group of medical professionals in the country. My only other medical group that meets the same professional quality is my general medical doctor, Trevor Turner and his nurse, Amanda, in Round Rock.

Love love love this place!!! I felt like I’d been going here for years. The staff is so friendly and we’re singing in the office which made the atmosphere so welcoming. Dr. Anne was incredible!!! Didn’t rush me with my questions and concerns and made me feel like a person not a patient. This place is seriously incredible.

She is fantastic I’ve been working with her for a few years on different foot ailments.she is very thorough and her care and concern for you is genuine.

My husband had a painful problem with 2 toes. They took him in the next day after I called. Dr. Mcspaddens partner, Dr. Sharkey saw him. She was kind, gentle and explained things well. A few hours later after a small procedure, my husband still feels no pain. We just found our new podiatrist!

Dr. Sharkey has been treating my elderly mother for ingrown toenails (painful) and my mom keeps telling me how much she likes her and how thorough and kind she is. I went in with my mom today and met Dr. Sharkey for the first time and agree she has excellent bedside manner. I am very relieved to know my mom is in good hands while I’m far away! 1st appointment with Dr. Sharkey yesterday. Excellent bedside manner. She was easy to communicate with, answered all my questions and I did not feel she was rushing through the appointment. Her supporting staff was also friendly and helpful.

I wasn’t real excited to go for treatment, but Dr. Starkey had a wonderful bedside manner and did her best to make the visit a positive one. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

I felt like she explained things clearly and honestly.

I have chemo induced nephropathy and also diabetes.So when I got a sliver in the ball of my left foot last night I was concerned. We tried to remove it but with no success. I called and got a 4:10 appt. and Dr Anne Sharkey. She did a wonderful job on checking out my foot and treated the sliver and wound left after the splinter removal. North Austin Foot is the greatest. I was especially worried since we were about to go on vacation. Now I can relax and enjoy.

Dr. Sharkey is punctual, to the point and very professional.
