A/C Stopped blowing cold air and KwikKar did a recharge as well as dye. It blew cold for a week or so and then stopped, brought it back in and they were able to find the leak and replace the condenser unit. They were quick and professional through out the entire process. Would definitely recommend.

I went to do a scheluded maintenace for a 2016 vehicle. They didnt produce any report for the vehicle and the overinflated the tires. Without asking they also removed the windshield stickers mentioning the correct pressure and maintenance schedule from the place I bought the tires from.

I can’t say for sure how their quality is but I’ve tried to use this place twice once for brakes And once to get batteries and alternator fixed and both times they lack compassion. They don’t have any wiggle room in their schedule and the number of technicians to accommodate for emergencies and I find that for a car place very inconvenient. They advertise are open on Sundays and they are the only ones open on Sundays but what’s the point if you can’t get anything done. I won’t be trying a third time to come here.

I typically have exceptional service at Kwik Car but not today — I initially called to speak with someone on setting up an appointment to get my A/C looked at and a man by the name of Brian answered the phone but he was very rude and condescending from the very start of my phone call. He kept cutting me off and he seemed like he very irritated at the fact that I wanted assistance with getting an appointment set up for my car to be looked at. I will no longer be using any services with Kwik Car; Brian’s attitude and lack of customer service was unacceptable. I HOPE and pray that he is not the manager at Kwik Car - Cedar Park because if he is he needs to be educated on what excellent customer service looks and sounds like because TODAY he definitely missed the mark in the customer service area!Update: Brian did eventually reach out to me after this post was made and he apologized sincerely and I just think that he was overwhelmed seeing that he was the only employee up at the front desk handling in person appointments and phone calls which might have been where the disconnect was between him and I. All is well and I do hope that Brian knows that I appreciate his phone call. I hate that I had to be a “Karen” in this situation lol but I’m glad that everything was resolved...

I took my jeep to this establishment for a wheel alignment and wheel balancing. I arrived just before 8:00 AM. Kenny informed me that the job would be done by 10:00 AM. I agreed, left my key and went on my way. At 9:50 AM, I headed back to the establishment to pickup my finished automobile. I was a little concerned upon arrival, as my Jeep was sitting in the exact same spot as when I had dropped it off.I entered the store and spoke with Kenny, who informed me that they hadnt gotten to my automobile as the previous customer needed a cable they were trying to procure. A bit surprised, I inquired as to why I had not been called to notify me of the delay. Kenny offered that he had just called a few minutes earlier and left a VM. I inquired as to the length of time to perform an alignment and wheel balancing and he told me at least an hour. I then asked Kenny, why he had not called earlier when they knew my auto would not be completed on time, ....he starred at me blankly! He then offered Well, we just found out that we cant get the cable for the car we are currently working on, until later today.I tried to reach out for an understanding once again. Kenny, as you had confirmed that that my auto would be ready at 10:00 AM and you were still working on another car at 9:45 and hadnt started to work on my car, why hadnt anyone reached out to inform me that my auto would not be ready as agreed?His replied We just found out that we wont be able to get the cable for the other customers auto and that is why there was a delay. He mentioned that he had called a few minutes ago and left a VM.He just didnt get it! I inquired, When will you be able to complete the alignment? He unapologetically replied Sometime this afternoon.A simple phone call to a customer at the point they knew they wouldnt be able to complete the work as scheduled, seems beyond the scope of comprehension for Kenny. He seemed annoyed that I was a bit upset at not being notified of the delay.As my wife was on her way to work and was dropping me off, we had not planned on an additional trip to take me home. As Kenny didnt comprehend his error and did nothing to resolve the issue, I requested my keys and decided that I will take my business elsewhere.On the bright side, I think I may have dodged a bullet! Ive no confidence that the work to be performed would have been done so with any level of competency based on Kennys lack of comprehension of his error.The truly sad part is that Kenny seemed to take no lesson away from the interaction. I believe this scenario will be repeated for another unsuspecting customer.

They have competitive pricing, good service, and usually things get done pretty fast. We usually get synthetic oil changes done regularly here. They have coupons that come to us in the mail so it is always nice to use those.They have a nice lobby to sit in while you wait and have complimentary bottled water and coffee.Their restroom is clean and the general feel of the place is really nice and clean, too.Always ask to see if they have any specials or discounts!!

Went in for an oil change and tire rotation. When I picked up my truck I noticed my tire pressures were the same then it dawned on me that they couldn’t have possibly rotated my tires since I didn’t give them the key to my wheel locks. I explained this to the manager and was refunded the $20 for the service. Further, the fluids weren’t topped off as outlined in the service receipt. The manager was apologetic and conveyed that due to Covid, had been left with unqualified staff.

Awesome shop for any auto need, alignment, oil change, and full service repairs. These guys are honest and upfront about their work. We unfortunately had an issue, one time, with an oil change (nothing the mechanics had control over) and they went above and beyond to make things right. I doubt we would have had the same experience at one of those quick/drive-up oil change shops.

On vacation in Lago Vista went to Austin for a day trip driving back to resort stopped at 7-11 and my car is saying coolant temperature high. Saw them went straight there. My fan stopped working, they had to order it and arrived the next day. They fixed my car and I was able to get it. The price was fair really thought it would cost more. Again a big thank you for all your help in my last minute need.

I hesitate to assign a rating, based on my experience. So consider this more a warning. Despite the implication from their web site, they only do tire repairs. If you need a new tire, go elsewhere. However, I do concur with the other positive reviews of the staff - very friendly and helpful. They may well do a good job on repairs.

I have been using this location for over two years and have been very pleased with the entire experience. Brian, the manager, is one of the most honest individuals I’ve come across in the automotive industry. I worked at a similar business for several years, and up-selling was our bread-and-butter. My experience at that job has always made me overly cautious using shops on my own vehicles.In my experience, Brian has always been accommodating and is never pushy with any of the services. I do most of my own work, but still give them a call if something is beyond my capabilities or on a time crunch. Regardless, they have never tried to up-sell anything and are always honest in their evaluations and recommendations. This has led to several thousand dollars of work for them and no headaches for me. On the rare occasion that my needs has exceeded their ability (transmission rebuild) Brian was able to recommend another shop, contact them for me the next day, and keep me in the loop. I doubt I’d find another shop that would ever be as helpful.I’d highly recommend them to anyone who might be looking for a reputable shop and will continue to use them as long as I am in the Austin metroplex.

They do a good job with basic services - fast oil change, etc. More complicated repairs arent their thing. To their credit they didnt charge me when they couldnt fix an issue, but it did take several days for them to realize they couldnt fix it. Nice people.

I have been going to this place for years. They are always upfront in what is wrong and what isnt. If its a quick fix (oh a wire is lose) they just fix it. If they cant do it in a timely manner they tell me where to go. The customer service is always 💯💯💯

I’m on third round of trying to get a brake job done properly. $850 later, they act as though having to come back 3-4 times to “get it right” is standard procedure. We just need to keep “adjusting the hardware” until it doesn’t squeak anymore. You will not be able to speak to an owner if you want to escalate, just stuck with a manager that acts as though “what’s the big deal? just adjusting hardware here”

I dont know anything about cars and Im always afraid people will take advantage of me. I dont have that concern at all here. Ive taken my car there twice now and both times I felt like they gave me honest recommendations. All of their recommendations were in line with the manufacturers recommendations. And they finished almost an hour sooner than the estimated wait time they gave.

These guys are either thieves or incompetent. They installed an incompatible sensor on my truck, and told me I needed to put mid-grade gas instead of regular due to the age of my truck. They also charged my girlfriend for a fuel system cleaning on my truck when she took it back, even though I had just had it done a few weeks prior. I took my truck to Austin Automotive off 183 who said the fuel thing was BS and Kwik Kar had done a very unprofessional job installing and securing the sensor. , They were able to get the issue resolved in a day. I went back to talk to Brian Walker, the manager, who refused to refund me for the part they installed that could have led to my catalytic converter going out, and wouldnt even look at the notes Austin Automotive put on the work order detailing what his shop had done wrong. After trying to plead my case, he said he was done talking to me, to never bring my truck back(why, so you can bumble about like idiots and charge me for things I dont need?), and he was calling the police to force me off the premises. As I walked out, he called me Ford Man and said maybe next time I should get a Chevy or GMC. Dont go here unless you want to make several trips back when another shop could get it done on the first try.Edit: Their reply was only for show. I emailed them politely asking for help, they said give them a few days and they would email me back. Its been weeks and no contact from them. Pretty sure their response was the manager in question, who has no intention of making the situation right.

Staff is friendly and helpful and very efficient. The person helping me let me know about some issues that didnt need to be dealt with right away unless I wanted them to, but should be soon. One thing to note, although there are Kwik Kar locations all over the Austin area, each one is owned by someone different and will not honor coupons or rewards programs from other Kwik Kar locations. But if you check your local HEB receipt, or that locations website, often there is a coupon available.

Went to get an oil changed there today and went with my tire pressure light on, when I picked up the car the light was still on and they had said they checked the air pressure I find that hard to believe with the light still on 🤦‍♀️ I have never spent that much on an oil change so I would have been okay with it if they had at least fixed air pressure

I had this place do a second opinion after my dealership service shop looked into my check engine light and told me a little valve and sensor repair was going to cost me over $800, after charging me over $100 to tell me what was wrong. The Kwik Kar team looked into it for free, and told me that the sensor likely was just being tripped by the valve, and theyd fix the valve first, to make sure that the sensor replacement was necessary. Turns out it was NOT necessary, and I was able to get my car fixed for less than half the price I was quoted from the other shop. Bryan and his team are super friendly, super helpful, and Im glad I found them.

These guys are real-down-to-earth folks that have helped me out countless times. Theyve helped me with everything from a brake light switch to a timing belt. Theyre my only choice for mechanics in San Marcos and I dont wanna take any of my troublesome cars to anyone else. Theyve always been fair, and Richards given me the kind of treatment that makes me wanna keep coming back, hes demonstrated that these guys know what theyre doing. If youre a student, my advice is to come here, theyre the best setup for what we need.

I brought my Lexus in for a tire to be mounted and balanced. Two days later I was driving down I-35 and at about 70mph my car started shaking really bad. I contacted Brian (The Manager) and he said that their balancing machine was down. So I waited two weeks calling them every couple days to ask if their machine was back up and running, and each time they said no. I ended up having to pay again at Firestone to have my tire rebalanced correctly. So I had to drive on a messed up tire for two weeks and ended up having to pay double. This is not my first incident with them, this is just scraping the surface with the many issues I have had with this company. I wouldn’t recommend this terrible customer service to anyone. Save your time and money and go down the street for a shop where they know what their doing.

I wanted to thank Trey for his excellent customer service. I first came in with a headlight that was out and it required my front bumper to be removed. He was really respectful of my budget and worked to help with the cost. About a month later, the plastic undercarriage of my car tore and was hanging down. I went back to Kwik Kar and Trey and the crew reattached it with for me just to help me out. I appreciate not being taken advantage of which I have found to happen at other places. So I just called this shop to get a quote for a thermostat change after diagnosing last night with a neighbor friend who is a master technician from a very reputable dealer with over 20 years experience. This shop told me that they do not do quotes over the phone and clearly didnt want the job which wouldve been a simple one hour in labor for them .The gentleman was rude and made excuses about having to know the make model etc of the vehicle which I clearly explained that I had all the information for them . Sad thing here is I actually had a great experience with a different location in the past which led me to call and give the shop a chance since it was closer to my home. I will be calling the other location .

BEWARE!!!! I would never trust these people with another car, even if it broke down right in front of their shop!First visit - Our familys truck needed new brakes, and the cost was about $900. Around a week later, each time the brakes were applied it sounded like metal grinding on metal.Second visit - The truck was taken back, and they made us wait an entire day while they repaired other vehicles, but supposedly they fixed it. A week later you could feel a severe wobble each time the brakes were applied. A friend took a look to see if we could specifically tell them what was wrong, only to discover that this place over torqued the lug nuts making it nearly impossible to even get the tires off.Third visit - We took the truck back to get it fixed again. The manager said he would replace the drums for free to correct the problem. In exchange, he asked that we take down the bad Yelp review.Here we are just a few weeks later, and the brakes started making grinding sounds and smelling like they were burning yet again. Since we will NOT ever be going back to this place again, we went ahead and bought new brake pads and found someone else to install them. Apparently, Kwik Kar charged $900 for very crappy parts that were already breaking down into metal shavings.DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE!

We signed up for the company fleet program and had all of our employees take their vehicles for oil changes at the end of last year. Then, we tried getting two of our company vehicles inspected over this last week and they didnt pass them. The inspector said the horn was too annoying. Horns are annoying, but it worked, so how did this not pass the inspection. They tried to sell us a horn for this vehicle. On the other vehicle, they said the the power steering fluid was low and there could be a leak in the pump. They tried to sell us a power steering pump as well. How could they not pass the inspection for something they werent even sure of! The inspector was extremely rude and asked our employee to leave. The inspector at this location may need to be retrained on what should pass and what should fail on state inspections. We will never go here again, nor have our employees go to this location, or Kwik Kar for that matter.

These guys are a joke. Took over an hour to do a simple oil change & inspection when I was the only customer there. Literally no other cars in the garage - should have taken that as a sign. They also had the nerve to fail my inspection just because my window tint was 5% too dark on my side windows. Ive never had a problem at any other inspection and sure enough I went to my regular inspector near work the next day and passed easily like I always do. What a huge waste of time & money. Avoid at all costs! I thought Id give them a chance since I just moved into a house nearby but Ive learned my lesson.

Been taking both my cars here for year. Never had any problems with service. Had a water pump replaced on one car about 3 years ago and never an issue. They are by the book when it comes to inspections so dont expect to be able to have anything wrong and be able to get away with it. My cars pass every year and one car has over 200,000 miles. Will continue to go here for as long as Im in cedar park!

I recently needed a full brake job and took my truck to Kwik Kar. They replaced my bearings, brake pads, and rotors on all four tires. Approximately 5 months later my truck was squeaking when I turned left and right. Well it turns out my bearings had become loose because of a faulty part (not their fault) and needed replaced.Ryan was the gentleman who helped me and he was awesome. They completely replaced the faulty bearings/rotors under their warranty and did it in a timely manner. I was constantly informed of how long it would be and when my truck would approximately be ready. I am really pleased with my experience there and definitely plan on returning for any auto needs that may arise. Recommend!

Talk about a damsel in de stress. After calling ahead to find the wait time for an oil change my car notified me of a leak in my tire which quickly turned into a flat upon minutes. I made it safely to kwik Kar whom came highly recommended from a friend and not only did they complete my oil change within my lunch hour but also plugged my tire leak and offered to change my flat to the spare if it was not patchable at NO CHARGE! Quick service with a hero’s heart. I am grateful beyond measures as I typically dread taking my car to be service and practically beg my husband to do it as I often feel sheepish and looked down upon when doing such tasks. But not here. I would highly recommend Kwik Kar now and in the future and may have found myself a new oil change and mechanic home for my car. Thanks again for all that you did! ♥️

Not really impressed I needed an oil change and tire rotation. Lady up front said If you buy an air filter rotation is free. Sounded great, except for my air filter for some reason cost $30 and tire rotation credited only for$24.95. That is just plain bad business. Not to mention way overpriced for an air filter. Too many other places to get an oil change. Wont return to here.

I have taken my vehicle here for an inspection, and they failed my vehicle, charged me $30 for inspection, and said I had a power steering leak they could fix for $1,200... I have NO leak, and I went to Sticker Stop on 620, and got my inspection the same day...If you have a high mileage vehicle, and go here for inspection, your vehicle will NOT pass, and they will try to up sale you on unnecessary repairs...The places looks alright, but the staff are all tattooed out, and look like they will sale you meth if you ask them...Bottom line, this place sucks

They did not put my drain plug on after a routine oil change and my car seized up and started bucking. They claim that no damage occurred, refused to take my engine apart to make sure, and offered me 3 free oil changes with this really expensive oil called royal purple and told me that now that theyve put in this special expensive oil, that I can never go back to regular oil. My car doesnt have the horse power that it did before they did this to it, and kwik kar is now telling me I need new motor mounts, yet that it has nothing to do with my car running on no oil and seizing up. Any mechanic will tell you that anytime an engine runs on no oil, damage has occurred. Im really shocked that they wont own up to their mistake and repair or replace my engine free of charge. I guess they figured since Im a single woman they can get away with it. And they have. I dont know how the owner of this business can sleep at night. Stay far away from this place. They live by no moral or ethical code

(I dont write reviews)I Honestly had nothing but a good experience at this place. The General Manager Ryan Gibson went out of his way to help deal with verifying my insurance. Dealing with the questions that needed to be answered, which we all know can takes a lot a patience. My phone was even dying and he took the time to find a charger and did. Ive been to kwik kar before but I have never had as much help as Ryan provided today. I need to bring my other vehicles to be taken care of here next time. Thanks Ryan and to your team.

Fast and friendly service with a very clean atmosphere to wait in while they do the work! I must give a shoutout to Brian in the office for being so kind when I went in for an oil change for my new car. I always feel like I have to brace myself for an upsell when coming into these places but that was not my experience here at all. It was under $60 for a full synthetic oil change for my 2018 Subaru Crosstrek and they were so fast. They have WiFi and coffee in their waiting area that has ample room and a very clean bathroom for customers. I even got a free car wash with my service! Thank you again for such a pleasant experience!!!

They charge more than it cost in some other workshop, besides they didnt do a clean work, after they finish the problem still in my Mazda CX9, they supost to change the radiator because they dint fix those; at the time they take out theraeiator they brock my stick oil I went to clime about the work because they dont check the AC Coler water at the time they supost change and now I have to put AC Coler water as 3 times by month because they didnt lefth run when they change it, and about the sticker oil forget it. They said they didnt breack it but the only way could be breack that stick its when you take the radiator out of the place.Not very good recomendation.Now I have to go Mazda to have fix the radiator wich I pay $600.00 USD with this guys no warranty; plus what Im paying un Mazda and my stik oil part take it out and repleacement. Very expensive job for go some option close.Never going back there and No recomending. To day when I were there was a lady who were ask for a work qout and they told her that they dont know how much was gonna be till they start the work. Same as happen with my wife, becasue the havent any idea about how much was cost the part. Come in if you know what part its brocken and you have years doing this, you should know how much you will charge.

Worst customer service ever, went to get an oil change and the guy said he would be be right with me as I was standing in line behind a couple sit there for 20 minutes waiting while other ppl were being taken care of, guess they don’t need my business my wife may like this place but I will not be returning.
