Awful experience with Amber. She cancelled on me twice. I don’t understand why people don’t want to make money. Lol, was more than willing to drop about $250 just now on my hair touch up....but okay. The girl that did my hair before her (who is no longer there, took me in as a new customer no problem. (And I just scheduled my appointment two days before that said appointment.Also, Amber literally called me the day of my first appointment and said I shouldn’t have scheduled my appointment online because she doesn’t know my hair....I scheduled it two weeks before the appointment, ma’am! And also, maybe check your schedule ahead of time. Sounds like you just don’t really know what you’re doing. Sad.

We are recently back to Austin after my husband serving in the military for several years. Every time we have moved its been hard to find someone who will cut my hair the way I want it. I like a short layer that doesnt feel safe to any stylist Ive ever started out with but always looks amazing if I can get them to do it. I saw Alyssa at Lavish and she was hesitant at first to do it at first simply because she really wanted me to love my cut and thought I wouldnt like it if she did the short layer. I talked her into it and we started out a little longer and she worked up until it was where I wanted it and I love it! Im so grateful she worked with me, listened to me, and was willing to take the risk. Seriously it looks amazing and I will be going back. Also they have a super cute boutique to browse through and she heard I hadnt had my morning coffee and gave me a cup to go.

I kind of have a mixed experience at this place. First the positives: the place was clean, there is separate rooms for each of the clients and yes my hairstylist was really friendly and cordial.But now the negatives IMPORTANT:I got an appointment first and foremost to get a hair keratin treatment. My hair being curly and frizzy,I have been getting keratin for almost 4 years now. After the keratin treatment here, it was perfect for the first 3 days. After my hair wash on the 4th day, my hair is full on back to its curly mayhem. I am disappointed to say there was no appreciable change in the texture or frizziness as expected after a keratin.I wouldnt recommend the place for costlier hair treatment like a keratin.And not to mention the 20 mins wait without even being offered a chair at the reception on the morning of my appointment.

Lavish Salons Jamie did a superior job on my hair and with a head massage. Shes the best.

The salon was very inviting relaxing very clean they offer beverages to soda coffee wine it was a nice experience the color wasnt what I wanted but after a few tries I know Ill get exactly what is needed to fulfill my needs I had Jennifer and she was great 😊😊😘

I think only person was wearing a mask but my stylist did offer to wear a mask at my request. Which I thought was kind of her to ask. This was my first trip to this salon. I asked my stylist for only one specific detail and that was the length of my curtain bangs. Then the rest of the cut was kind of free game. But she did not even listen and then said at the end she said well I hope you like it even if it wasn’t what you asked for. I was kind of like Ummm okay. I just don’t understand I mean had a asked for a particular or very specific haircut I wonder understand but seriously just one thing it was a little disheartening.

Kora is awesome! I love it. She has great customer service, and does wonders with hair. Check her out on IG at #fancyhaircreations The salon has a boutique at the front and they sell purses, earrings and more. Pretty modern and clean. People are nice there.

Amazing Experience! Love this place!

This is my 2nd time to go there,, both Jennifer (haircut), and Jamie (haircut and highlight) did an awesome job on my hair. Its pretty expensive but worth the service. I am very satisfied and I definitely highly recommend Lavish Salon & Boutique if you are looking for someone you want to entrust your crown of glory to.Thank you a lot, Jamie. I absolutely love my hair!!! I have long hair and wanted some character added without taking away too much of the length. Trisha knew exactly what to do to give me what I was looking for in a haircut and style. Hooray!!! I found my new hair stylist. I definitely recommend Trisha if you are looking for an amazing do. Oh and she is super sweet and fun to chat with.

The salon is decent but the girl who cut my hair BUTCHERED it! She cut a layer, that I didnt want, less than 2 inches from my scalp, cut bangs, and cut bushy side burns when I told her multiple times Im letting my hair grow out one length, which it almost was. That was 7 months ago and still not ready for another haircut. By far the absolute WORST haircut of my entire life!!!

I had an appointment reserved from my fellow employees to come and get my hair cut and potentially colored. Mind you that this was a gift from my co-workers. I arrived to only have CARI REYNOLDS tell me my hair was terrible.. Im not going to touch that... wow I feel so bad for how bad your hair looks, Im going to be bald soon... I am an Asian-American citizen and I even sensed she was racist towards me. This made me very upset and I cannot believe she treats her customers this way. How are you a hair stylist with such poor customer service skills, no type of communication skills and in an industry where customer service skills are REQUIRED. I am now grateful she didnt touch my hair because with hands like that I wouldve had bad luck with my hair.

I have never been happier with service as I am with Lavish’s services! Amy Holloway has been my hairstylist for years! I am always impressed with the quality of service, pricing and professionalism offered. No matter what style/color I have thrown at her, she’s always come in clutch and turned my idea into reality. I have recommended Amy and the salon to all of my friends and coworkers and they are all happy with their experience.

Good place

I was taken care of by I Jennifer,after the longest 4 hours of my life. I was completely unhappy with my hair and did not have the energy to say that. In addition to the 425.00 it cost to be this unhappy. I would not recommend seeing her but the Manager did give me a partial return for the ordeal. She was great and also arranged for someone to add toner to my hair at no charge. This was my personal experience. The boutique is a bit on the pricey side but theres some cute finds.

Kora is the absolute best! She saved my hair and color from a very horrific experience I had at another salon. She listens and takes her time to make sure its what you want. She is a life saver!

Go see Hannah Baker, she is awesome!! She has cut, color and change styles for all three of my children, family members , including myself and several friends. You wont go wrong for any services you might want she does awesome work, AND I am VERY particular!!

Trisha and Amy are both amazing! They have taken my hair from atrocious to stunning. They work really hard to get your appointment when it works for your schedule. Love the place and the people!

I referred my sister-in-law to Lavish for a partial highlight, root touch-up, & haircut today. They booked her with Amy Holloway. Amy decided on her own to add more coloring services and do this and that (including adding more highlights to the point to where its overwhelming) without telling my SIL. So, when she goes to pay for the service it is DOUBLE what she was told. It shouldve been around $140-160, but was $280! The owner Wendy wouldnt even give a partial refund for Amys mistake!

My stylist is top notch. My hair looks better and is healthier than when I first started going over 1 year ago

Came into the salon this even at 6:15pm for my 6:30pm as my appointment confirmation said to come 15 minutes early. My stylist came out and asked if i had an apt, i said yes at 6:30pm and showed her my confirmation. She said she thought i cancelled so she took another client. Then she checked her phone and saw I had NOT cancelled. She told me she was finishing up with a client and would probably be another 30 minutes. I thought no biggie since im 15 mins early. She ask if i wanted to reschedule I said no Id wait. After waiting for an hour i walk back to her area (chair) and she was still curling her clients hair about half way through and I told her i was leaving. She told me she was almost done but i could clearly see she had 1/2 a head left to curl.I am new to the Austin area and was looking for a salon for my regular cuts, styles and maintenance. This completely turned me off and i will not be back. There are WAY to many salons in the area to settle on horrible customer service like this. I would not recommend this salon.
