I would not recommend this office to anyone. I have been with this office for 3 years and have only had 3 appointments. They fired my prior doctor for bringing to light an ethical issue, and since she left, I have only been in there twice because Im a healthy person.I asked for a new doctor in 2020 since my prior doctor was let go. They gave me Dr. Carpenter whom I seen in 2020. I scheduled a new appointment for a physical in September which they changed to tele health. How are you going to do a full female physical over tele health?I went in person on 10/13/2021 to schedule another appointment which they scheduled for 11/09/2021 and this morning they left a voicemail saying I need to find another doctor because they are not accepting new patients.Wow, how am I a new patience after 3 years. They are very unprofessional especially the front desk lady Sandy. She is rude and abrupt. This whole experience has really made me feel the need to tell the public how unprofessional this office is ran. Could it be that I am not making them enough money because I have only seen the 3 times in 3 years because I am a healthy woman? HmmmmmmAfter the whole ridiculous mess I have experienced with this office, I wouldnt recommend this place on anyone.

Doctor Hathway is a wonderful Doctor. She listens and cares about your needs.The front desk ladies are pleasant and helpful. I am happy with my health care.

The front desk staff are always so helpful and caring. Dr. Carpenter never seems to be in a hurry to be done with me. I can ask him questions and he will patiently answer all of them.

Crissy fixed my whole life and is more knowledgeable than any of the 17 DRs i had previously went to in TX, NC, & CO trying to find out my problems (traditional DRs push estrogen instead of what is actually beneficial, and they dont typically test testosterone, t3, t4, tpo antibodies; the bloodwork at castlerock is more thorough than a typical annual physical and really good deal on groupon!) Thank you i just turned 34 but feel 24!

Excellent experience. The receptionists were friendly and cheerful. Jennifer Graff, the Nurse Practitioner that I saw, was amazing; very personable, helpful, and competent, and she seemed to really care that I was comfortable and gave me ample opportunity to ask all of the questions I had. None of the dismissive qualities that Ive experienced with other doctors/NPs wherein its obvious they are barely listening and just want to get you out of the door. Even the lab technician who took my blood was friendly and struck up a conversation with me. Awesome staff!

Just moved to Castle Rock and my wife just had her first appointment here. This office is over the top amazing. Clean, friendly, and caring are just some of the words that CAN and SHOULD be used to describe this wonderful experience. Nurse Practitioner Jennifer G was caring and helpful, making sure that the patient is heard and feels comfortable. Thank you guys so much for an awesome experience.

So, the staff here is great. I was set up for a telehealth appointment which should be no big deal, but I got my device ready and was waiting for the MD to accept the communication.Naturally, I was early, waiting for the doctor (who was much busier than I was that day) and when he accepted the communication, I was suddenly tasked with four other things to do before I could speak with the MD - login to my health account, give some password - all of which I had more than enough time to do BEFOREHAND if I had been told I needed it.This necessitated my MD having to call me vice telehealth which slowed down the appointment and inconvenienced my MD which is not something I wanted to do

Outside of getting good care from your facility I always enjoy dealing with everybody there. Always friendly and able to take care with all requests

I wanted to see a doctor to do a physical like Ive done before but he was booked for a long time, so I did it with an assistant. She was nice and the virtual appointment was good. Maybe they only have 1 doctor? IDK, but its all forgivable during the pandemic.

Jennifer Graff NP is committed to detail. She had a valid concern with my EKG which had never been spotted before. She referred me to a specialist who confirmed the reading of the EKG by JG was legit, however was not a major concern. Even though I had to take an extra step to see a specialist, I am very pleased JG did her job to very high standards. I would like to keep her as my NP for years to come. Thanks Jennifer Graff NP.

I absolutely LOVE NP Jennifer Graff! I switched jobs last year but its well worth it to me to pay out of pocket for quality care. Jennifer truly cares about me as her patient and as a human. She is smart, kind and works WITH me to make sure I get the care I need. Shes supportive of my entire health picture - encouraging exercise, healthy eating, talk therapy, social activities and most of all laughter as truly good healthcare and mental healthcare, as opposed to medications to mask problems. Most importantly, I trust her!

Professional, highly technically efficient with good manners. I have sought direction from Dr, C for over 20 years, my parents as well. He has brought me through significant health issues as well as normal medical administrative actions including accurate medicine assignment. Very thankful to the doc and his excellent staff. We were met with not only wonderful, compassionate care but grand gestures. My husband has Parkinsons whereby falls occur. As we approached the office door, he fell in the threshold, one of the front desk ladies ran to assist with the door, offered him water and checked us in quickly. Our entire 1st visit was met with the same continued behavior of kindness, assistance, and professionalism. So my wife was a patient and was let go two months ago for being noncompliant. Jennifer Graff. Could not even call to discuss the problem if there was one as to say why she was being noncompliant. So that tells me that’s just a way for a practitioner to let go of a patient that’s too complex for them to deal with. My wife has a lot of complex medical problems and physicians just shove her to the curb because she’s not” fixable.”But as a professional you call the patient and discuss a problem. When someone behaves in this manner I can’t even treat them as a professional. I’ll give them a big fat zero. My hope is that Ms. Graff goes back to school and take an ethics course and learn how to speak with people and not just ignore them. It’s a shame when you have to tell a professional how to behave and you don’t need a college degree to learn or understand that!

I could not be more happy with this office and its staff and specifically Jennifer Hathaway, NC-P. She has stepped in gone above with her patients. The front desk is very friendly and efficient. Just today, one of the front desk receptionists, Austin took a few extra steps to ensure a referral was sent to an orthopedist immediately. So happy to be a patient here.

Recently in the last several months I was searching for a new doctor because my previous doctor was definitely not for me nor for others as the reviews spoke volume. Now with Dr Hathaway Ive been much happier and feel like people actually care and are understanding. I feel that Im heard and not feel like a number. Hathaway is very kind and passionate about her job and it reflects her work. Everyone that Ive come across have been super awesome, polite and personable.

Im not sure whats going on with this clinic over the last year but they are HORRIBLE with outgoing paperwork to insurance companies, pharmacy prescriptions..etc! And they dont listen! I have spent so much time fixing their mistakes. I dont have time to babysit professionals! Plus the fact that they fired my doctor - the BEST doctor Ive ever been to in 43 years!!! I recently had a visit here with Jennifer Hathaway, FNP as my primary care doctor was booked. I must say it was the most pleasant doctor visit I think I have ever had. Went here once, the doctor visit was fine but not happy with the office staff experience. We use a health sharing co-op for our insurance and need receipts from our doctor visits with basic information in order to get refunded. I cannot get a proper receipt from Castle Rock Family Care for my one visit. I have spoken with someone 5 times on the phone since my August 2019 appointment and was told several times to expect the receipt I requested in the mail and then nothing would come. Each time I was told it would be taken care of and it has yet to be resolved. This is so basic. Maybe its great for people with traditional insurance but absolutely dont recommend if you need proper documentation of your visits and payments.

I just heard tonight that Dr MacKay is no longer with this practice. Unfortunately, it wasnt the practice that let me know that my doctor was no longer there. I had to learn through the grapevine! I am anxious to hear where she goes because, rest assured, I will be following her. She is kind, compassionate and actually listens to her patients. I have never met another doctor like her. I adore her and am sick that she is no longer here as well as disgusted that the practice couldnt even be bothered to notify her patients!

Is this the type of nurses you employ? I would want my nurse to not lack compassion as she does.

Castle Rock Family Care is a great family medical care facility. They have a great staff that tend to your needs. Doctor Christopher Carpenter is the best Doctor that I have had in my 61 years of life! When it comes to care and treatment I give him a 10 Star Rating and 2 Thumbs Up!!

Ive been a patient of Dr. Carpenter now going 6 years. Ive always been satisfied with the staff, Kathy is excellent, very efficient and always treats you professionally. Dr. Carpenter seems to always diagnose a health issue effectively and his Dr. referrals to treat my health conditions that needed further evaluation or care were very good.We recently moved about 1:20 mins away but when it comes to excellent care Well make the trip.

The staff at Castle Rock Family Care are very kind, compassionate and friendly. They went out of their way to make me feel welcome and comfortable. It is very rare now to find a medical team dedicated to seeing a person as a whole person and not just another number coming in the door. If you are looking for a new doctor, I would definitely recommend trying them out.

I recently was a first time patient at Castle Rock Family Care and saw Dr. Christopher Carpenter. I have never in my life visited a doctor for the first time and felt like so many things were addressed in one appointment! With how much I have going on in my life, I was so glad to not have to make follow up after follow up to address the few items I wanted addressed. I had a physical, and then the phlebotomist was ready for me straight away to do blood work. A nurse called me the next morning to tell me my blood work results - that fast! I have a follow up in a few months. I can access any information I need on a secure online portal. My experience was smooth sailing on all aspects- scheduling, insurance, appointment time, test results. Bonus is that Dr. Carpenter was efficient, genuine and experienced. So grateful to have found a new PCP so close to home that is comfortable and reliable. I would definitely recommend this office and Dr. Carpenter!

I am a new patient of Dr. Carpenters and of Castle Rock Family Care. My first experience was when I went to sign up Dr. Carpenter as my primary doctor with my insurance company. The insurance company had to call Castle Rock Family Care three times before we got things worked out. The office was very helpful and understanding during the process. My next experience was having my physical exam by Dr. Carpenter. He was very friendly, understanding, and did a thorough exam. I was very impressed.

Loved Dr. MacKay. Can’t believe they let her go. We won’t be going back.

Was the Primary Care physician for both my son and daughter in law while they lived in Colorado. Dr. McKay has been my Primary Care since before 2011. Her complete person approach to health care includes not only the physical aspects of the traditional medicine, it also includes your emotional and psychological well-being. I will highly recommend this practice to anyone searching for a practice which makes your concerns their number one priority.

Karen and I have been seeing Dr. Carpenter since we arrived in Colorado 12 years ago. Dr. Carpenter is a professional and we consider him part of our family. We would recommend this new office and his practice, such a great guy.

The office has really gone downhill and management doesnt seem to care. The office manager, Brian Bache, laughed at me when I voiced my concerns. It is a shame because Dr. Carpenter and Jennifer truly seem to care about their patients and they have to work for a horrible organization.

I am beyond aggravated. Ive been going to Castle Rock Family Care for 10 years now simply because of Dr. MacKay. To learn of her leaving was heartbreaking. When I called to get details and to reschedule my appointment for my toddler, I got no response. I left 4 messages, none of which got returned. My appointment for my sons check up was this morning at 10am, and I got a call at 8am saying the new doctor scheduled to see him doesnt see kids under 12 years old. Hes been on the calendar for 6 months now. Glad to see they care enough about there patients to check the files a few hours before. Letting Dr. MacKay go was a horrible horrible decision and we will be taking our family else where. If anyone know where Dr. MacKay went, please share.

The staff has always been friendly. Never seen the other doctors, so I can’t speak to them, but I loved Dr. Mackay so much. I was her patient for years. Yes, it took a long time to get an appt, but that’s because so many people loved her. But now that they’ve let her go, I’ll be waiting to hear where she lands and I’ll be going there. It’s really a shame for her and all of her patients.

Castle rock family care red flag. These people lost their best doctor, Dr. MacKay, and do not care at all about the patients. I had an appt at 8 am this snowy morning and nobody even called to let me know my doctor was no longer there...and they hadnt arranged for me to see someone else. My daughter is having physical withdrawls from her medication and they wouldnt help me get a refill until I threatened a lawsuit. I have been trying for 3 days. They did not offer her a doctor visit or anything. Beware. They do not care about patients.

Dr Mackay has taken very good care of my health! She looks outside of the box and is not quick to medicate . I also love that she uses natural hormone therapy and other natural suggestions for your health. The office staff is also very nice and friendly!

First of all from the front desk to the RN to the phlebotomist and then of course Dr. MacKay...AMAZING. Its been a long time since Ive been treated well the whole way through. This is a great place. I really loved the Doc. She was great. I would highly recommend this practice.

I usually am not one to leave reviews but I must say that Dr Macay is absolutely wonderful! My husband and I recently moved to Castle Rock and needed a new medical provder. I chose this office because of research and finding mostly great reviews. Dr. Macay is a skilled and knowledgeable physician that has a wonderful way to express she cares. I have finally found my forever Doctor!

Dr. Mackay is an outstanding doctor who takes the time to listen to her patients. I have never been treated as well in a doctors office. I feel the care and treatment I receive from her is outstanding!It has been three years since my last review. I am still a patient of Dr. Mackay and I think she is better than ever. Best decision I made for myself was to leave Dr. Mackays office. Maybe without realizing it OR flat out not caring -- some of her comments came across as immature and unprofessional. I use to think a lot of her, but she is a class act zero.Her assistant Erin is HORRIBLE. She provides test results, answers questions, returns calls, communicates with the pharmacy all at her convenience. Dr. Mackay and her entire staff at Castle Rock Family Care are absolutely fantastic. They are all very knowledgeable, and will find an answer for you if they dont know some little detail. They always seem happy to see me and make me feel glad that I came to them for whatever my issue was, from random inflammations, insect bites, to dietary programs. I think the world of them.

Showed up 30 minutes early...waited 5 minutes till someone addressed me...then I was told I was 5 minutes late to being there 30 minutes early so they cancel my visit? Terrible service and as a minority, I felt discriminated against. Never again will I step foot in that place!!!

Doesnt do any good to try and see a doctor when your told you need to wait a few weeks. Dont waste your time this is not what its advertised as, especially when you get laughed at for asking for help. Just another doctors office not actually concerned with helping.

They make you wait past your appointment time. They do not run a tight ship here at all and the front desk has no time line. And when you show up on time or early and others show up late, they go before you.

Dr Mackay is the best of the best! I drive from Brighton to see her which is a one hour drive. She truly cares about you and your family. I like her balance on prescription versus holistic, she is open to both. My husband and I have been working on loosing weight with no success and since I have been with Dr Mackay my husband lost 90 pounds and I have lost 70 pounds.

Love Dr. Mackay and this office! Every visit has been with almost no wait time and excellent care. Dr Mackay takes the time to listen to you and figure out the care you need. I can’t say enough good stuff about her and her office.

We have been coming here for about three years now but recently my husband had a severe health issue, so I called to get him in with a recheck of two weeks. The front desk staff were rude and insensitive to the urgency and wouldn’t get him in for over a month. The office staff has deteriorated from what it used to be and the high turnover is concerning. Very frustrating that the staff is ruining the environment of the doctors office.

I dont like this place. I had been waiting for over 40 minutes before I took my kids to the restroom, and it was like only 5 minutes. And when I came back to the waiting room, the doctor went to check another patients, and I would have to wait for another 30 minutes. And the nurses were very rude. I hate this place.
