Dr Baird is the best! I have been going to him now for 2 years. He is extremely attentive and has helped me with a few different medical issues! When I was sick he took the time after hours to help call in medicine and check on me! I have referred him to several friends and will definitely continue to do so in the future!

I am using my daughters phone. But I am very disappointed in this office. My husband Tom had been a patient here for years. I called multiple times to let the doctor know Tom had passed away, I had to leave voicemail and voicemail. It was impossible to reach anyone and no one has ever even called back. It really makes me sad that I can’t even get through because no one answers the phone and I can’t get a call back. If you ever need anything and need to reach this doctor you will be unable to. Very disappointed

I have been seeing Dr Barid for several years and he has been very consistent in his observations. If you need a Primary Care Doctor you could not ask for a better one. He is my Dr but I also consider him a friend.

I like Dr. Baird. I do the Biote pellets every 3 months, and his office is very conveniently located. However, the last 3 times I’ve gone in- my appointment is running :45 to an hour late. Literally. I’ve sat in the appointment room (not the lobby) and the motion sensor lights have turned off on me several times. I have my pellets done every 3 months, so this issue has been consistent for almost a year.

I started seeing Dr. Baird due to a neighborhood site that kept recommending him when I asked for a PCP. I have Ambetter insurance and many doctors dont accept this. I was a little worried about the quality of the provider that did at this point. I was so pleasantly surprised! I have had two visits so far and both was so great and I left so pleased with him. He truly cares about you and takes his time with yo . I appreciated that he wanted to know about be as an individual person as well and not just a diagnosis. Both times I needed referrals to places and I had them before walking out the door. I cant say enough about him! The staff members that Ive met have all been very sweet as well.

My wife made an appointment for 9:00 am this morning and we actually got there at 8:45. She wasn’t seen until 9:50 and as an OTR truck driver, I run on a tight schedule and have to get in and out due to the demands of the job. He was well aware that I had a load on me and needed to get out of there quickly because my wife told him and she made the appointment that morning since they had an opening. No regard to my time at all and no apology. He sent over some prescriptions for my wife and the pharmacy that we go to didn’t carry 1 of the newer ones that he prescribed so the original one needed to be called in. It literally took 4 hours to send in the correct one and I had to go back up there to even get that done because the phones were “down” or something and I was unable to get through. In 7 years of driving a truck, I have NEVER been late but guess what? I was today and that cost me money. I called up to the office after her appointment and made it extremely clear to the staff that I needed the new prescription sent over ASAP because I had to leave out of the area. No regard to me or my wife’s time whatsoever and that was totally unacceptable. I kept getting the runaround and don’t even get me started on a “few” of the staff members. Very disorganized and there always seems to be leftover “balance” that I am unaware of and they drop it on me at the last minute. I make plenty of money and don’t mind paying what I owe so it’s not like I am not trying to pay my bill. We have seen him for years now with no problems but lately things have changed. I absolutely REFUSE to wear a mask anywhere I go so because of that, I didn’t come in for a visit. Nothing personal but my constitutional rights mean more to me. To make a long story short, I ended up picking my wife’s prescriptions at 4:00 pm this afternoon. Unacceptable! I don’t know why the sudden “change” in behavior toward us, besides the fact that it is hard getting an appointment since trucking is an intense and demanding field, and getting in to see your doctor can be quite hard, but I take my job and my MONEY very seriously. A day and my time completely wasted that I still in the end had to pay for. Extremely disappointing to say the least. I will continue to take my wife for her needs but for me? No so sure.

Dr Baird is great but his staff leaves a lot to be desired.I called because of an issue with Medicare that could only be resolved by his staff calling Medicare, or I would be charged. They said theyd look into it and get back to me. A wewek later, when I hadnt heard a word, I called back. Yes, just come in and there wont be a charge. They said I would need blood tests and to see the Dr. I made an appt for 4 in the afternoon. The next day I realized thats a long way to go without food (fasting) so I called to see if they could do it earlier. Oh yes I was told. We determined there was no appointment necessary so we already had cancelled out that appointment. Well, NOBODY TOLD ME.So Im leery of the people who answer the phone.

Don’t come here for depression like symptoms. Unless you’re religious. Yes. I was a patient here in 2014 and he suggested I try religion to help my depression. My first Texas doctor since relocating. I immediately found a new doctor.

I agree with all the accolades of the original review, however, my experience with Dr. Baird regarding medication and treatment was completely different. Of all the doctors I have seen over the years, Dr. Baird is number 1 and I was sad when I moved from the Dallas area knowing I would be facing the challenge of finding a new medical staff to treat me in my new city and fearing they would be nowhere near as helpful, kind, and considerate as Dr. Baird.I was with Dr. Baird for 3-4 years while I lived in Dallas and I drove from Oak Cliff to his office in Carrollton almost 8-12 times a year. When my other doctors failed me, or had crowded schedules, Dr. Baird was able to step in and fill there shoes. I made sure that Dr. Baird was aware of all my treatments, I was honest and open, and he returned the favor as an outstanding Primary Care Doctor.I wish there were more Dr. Bairds out there, it would make the stigma of the health care industry in shrinking profits, insurance company reductions, and lack of insurance for most less daunting and would improve the lives of many people in need of help. One last thing, I feel that a well informed consumer of health care can come off a bit bossy. The internet has given us TONS of access to information. Cross checking your treatment to what others are experiencing may seem a valid way to challenge your doctors opinion, but back it up with facts from other sources than just chat rooms. Keep track of your side effects, and informed on interactions with other medications, but dont bring in print outs from chat rooms and internet sites. This can be overwhelming. Just listen to your doctor, ask questions, and explain your concerns. If you cant get the treatment you need, or you are that rare case thats been through everything that a doctor would use as a first, second, and third line treatments, just remember thats why they call it a practice.
