Appointment at 11: 30, wait almost an hour! Also, her medicine is not effective

I love Dr. Xiao! She is very professional, polite, and she really listens to all of your concerns. I dont feel like shes trying to rush me out the door like other doctors Ive had. I recently moved farther away but its absolutely worth the 30 minute drive to see her rather than a closer doctor.

Dr. Hong is very helpful and answers every questions with explanation and never rushes an appointment. Were very glad that we found her and shes right next to our pediatrician as well. We also do our annual physically check up here, she didnt take Aetna in 2019 but is re-enrolled again for 2020 so now we do regular sick visits again.

Honestly, I work for a medical office. And we try to make new patients feel welcome no matter how stressful our day is. And the girl at the front, which I’m sure is young just like me, is rude. And doesn’t even try to get answers for a new patient. Sadly I told her I was looking for someone who can test for diabetes because I’m afraid and she just had no empathy at all. Didnt even try to connect. I heard good things about the doctor. But I can’t seem to talk to the receptionist about anything. She’s too vague and it’s confusing. That can cost anyone business. And I’m 23. So I’m not some old lady nagging. I’m a young woman, trying to make sure I’m healthy. This hurts my feelings.

Best family doctor in Carrollton... Been seeing Dr.Xiao for 5 years and she is the best really caring and sincere in treating her patients. She will always go far and beyond to take care of her patients and her staff is amazing too Kasy and Allison and Juanita.

First time seeing Dr. Hong and she was very helpful. Was having issues with chronic coughing after the flu and she went the extra mile to provide the service of a breathing treatment to help alleviate the tightness in my chest along with providing the medicine I needed. If Im sick Ill be back to see her again.

Bad experience from Dr.Xiaohong! Their staffs don’t look very professional. My information was sent to them but they didn’t update that information for me in time. Should have been to another doctor!

Way too many patients she accepted that she could no longer handle properly I guess? Shes really nice and has a good heart and thorough and shes my doctor in the last 12 years or so but, in the last 2 years things have changed..... Now, I only get less than 5 mins of her time and usually she just keeps on talking and giving generic advice in a rushed lets-get you-over-with way without really asking me specific questions first. I would tell her my specifics but she wont remember the next time Im there and I think thats critical before writing prescriptions. Its like before you know it, shes gone and is in the room for the next patient. But shes nice but its my health, so not sure. Shes extremely busy and running back and forth in her office. By the way, one of her staff (the Latina one with dyed blond hair that draws blood is cold, unaccomodating and plain rude! The others are all nice and sweet - like the mother/daughter tandem that work there)

She is the best doctor!! She has the best bedside mannerEven though we are now live very far away from her clinic, and we live near a big hospital with a lot of clinics nearby, we would rather drive 45min back to see her. Unlike some doctors who only spend less than 5min on you, rush to jump into a conclusion with very limited info after you have waited for 1 hour or more, she is so patient with each patient so that she knows all the details of your symptoms and figure out the accurate reason that caused those symptoms.

Awesome physician. Shes more like a mother when she treats and talks to you. A cool chic mom that is very competent doctor though... combination of professional and compassionate and knows whats best for you. She loves her patients! Really she does care...

This review is not for doctor Xiao. It is for the receptionist. I made an appointment by phone on certain day. The day before when i called to confirm, they said, my name is not listed at all. I made all the arrangement for it ( taking half day off all that). The receptionist doesnt even seem to apologize. Although she squeezed me at 9:30 am in for the schedule, she also mentioned there are 8 people in front of me from 8:30am ( the time they opened) to 9:30am. For everyone out there, please triple check they jot your names down when you are making the appointment. For doctor, I have no problem, she is a lovely lady and easy to talk to and seems to be very professional as well)

Dr. Xiao is very through, and knowledgeable. I love that she answers the phone and is available to answer questions. She was referred to me by a co-worker and Im glad I listened. I would recommend her to others needing a primary care doctor.The only negative thing I would mention is when i first called to schedule my appointment and register as a new patient the receptionist gave me a hard time for not have the claim address on hand (as it wasnt listed on my insurance card). But again, Dr. Xiao was great.

She is the best general physician we have been to. She is very kind, understanding and easy on the wallet when you dont have insurance. She has given us free samples and tests at very cheap prices.

I had my annual check up with Dr. Hong, she was very sweet and caring. I am so happy I found her!

Ive visited this practice a total of 3 times now and I love It! The staff is all very friendly and efficient. Ive never had to wait too long to get called back or to see Dr. Xiao. Also, I like that she takes the time to answer all of my questions in detail and easily understood way.

I made the appointment and called in twice to confirm and the day before I go, they called to cancel my appointment at 5:15pm, that is horrible, and I think it is really unprofessional.

Dr. Xiao is a wonderful physician. She is extremely thorough and has a great personality. Her staff is excellent, remembers the patients and your history. I drive a good distance to keep her as my primary care doctor and plan on it as long as she is in business.

Dr.Xiao is a great PCP. She has wonderful bedside manners. She has always been professional and polite. She explains everything to you during visit and all lab results. She has been wonderful doctor all around for me .

Dr. Xiao is my grandsons and my daughters phsycian. I know my daughter thinks very highly of the care that shes provided for her. I am very grateful to her for the medical care and compassion that she has shown for my grandson. The whole office feels like family. She has a very good bedside manner she has a great heart.

I wouldnt go anywhere else! I have followed Dr. Xiao from the campus of UT Southwestern to her new location in Carrollton, and although shes further away, definitely worth the drive. My family and I consider her family!

I really wanted to book an appointment with her... but her receptionist made it very difficult. I have PPO and she was telling me that I need to call my insurance and have them change my doctor, and then she told me that even though I pay a co pay with my insurance, that the insurance would not work with them. But I have great PPO insurance. She never even asked me for my insurance information.Very disappointed. I could tell this office clerk would have made my experience here a nightmare. Almost like she was trying to sabotage the doctor from getting new patience.

Both my family and I have so much respect for Dr. Xiao and also absolutely adore her. She is friendly, knowledgeable, always makes time for patients, and follows up frequently. I usually ask lots of questions during my visits and Dr. Xiao always takes the time to listen to me and answer all my questions. Also, she does quick consultations over the phone. Her affiliation with UTSW is just another perk. I wouldnt go to any other doctor.

I call for and appointment. They close at 5:30. But stop seeing people at 4:30. Thanks a lot guess I wont be going here

Doctor is nice. But one of the receptionists is terrible.

Nothing wrong with the dr. because i didnt get change to see her. but her front staff is terrible. i asked if they have certain date available. she said no. i was hoping she will tell me what date they may have. she didnt. this is not the right way to welcome a new patient. I should say they may have enough patients. they dont care. I asked is there any other date that you have. Then she asked me about whether i have insurance, she didnt even ask what insurance that i have, she asked me to call my insurance. dont want to work with me. I guess they are too busy, the front staff dont want the dr to see more patients, good for Dr Xiao.

My entire family sees her and likes her a lot. She is our family doctor for 4 years.
