She is very sweet and caring. Always has been very nice and professional. Never in a hurry very patient to hear your concerns and explains everything so you understand. I would not ever change doctors unless she left the state.

I have been coming to this office for over two years. Dr. Rooks is a wonderful physician! She takes her time and makes sure that all your questions or concerns are answered and addressed. The appointment never feels like she is rushing to get out and on with her day. You feel like youre her only patient that day. The others in the office from the nurses to the front office are also nice and very helpful when calling in with a question or needing assistance.

Ive been going to this doctor for about 2 years or more and have not been helped at all for what I started going to the doctor for. All the doctors and nurses have been really nice but nice doesnt help medical issues. Also they schedule appointments months from when you call in needing the appointment. Most the time I spend more time in my car waiting or the waiting room than I actually spend in the room with the doctor. Then after all the waiting the only medical advice I get is drink lots of water. You just made me use my medical insurance just to tell me to drink more water? If thats all I got to do to be a doctor in Carrollton, hell I may just become one. It just seems like my doctor is there to collect his paycheck. You get 2 stars cause, as I stated before, everyone is nice.

I have been seeing Dr. Rooks since 2017 and she is a awesome Dr. The front office and nursing staff are also so caring and friendly right down to the lab. Dr. Rooks listens to my concerns takes the time to work out a plan we both agree with and we try it out. I have referred a friend to Dr. Rooks and told her she would be pleased.

The ladies in the front office were so nice and informative.I loved Dr. Rooks. She ask questions and listens to your concerns. She spent the time to address my medical conditions tostart a treatment plan.

Holly Jackson is the ABSOLUTE BEST!! She is a NP but better than ANY MD I have ever had. She is patient, detailed, listens, trustworthy & goes beyond to make sure she gives you proper care. I love my doctor!! Oh yea her nurse is Great too!!

Horrible. Can’t get my anxiety medicine filled during a pandemic. They want me to come in take my money expose myself more to the possibility of the virus just to see me for a max of 5 mins where they will take my blood pressure, heart rate and temp (which will all be high because I have extreme anxiety now with no meds) just to do a refill. Hold times are extremely long and nurses interrupt you and hang up. My panic on the phone should have been a sign that I need my medicine now but have to wait 10 days. Thank God for medical workers. Not.

Holly Jackson is great, very caring,and great patience she takes her time to listen to you.

Recently moved here from Chattanooga, TN and didnt know anyone here so it was literally like throwing a dart and landing on places and then finding out if they took my insurance or not. I am glad I took the chance with this place. I see Dr. Yelena Makori. I really like her. She makes me feel comfortable and takes her time when I need it. She is good about answering all of my questions. I like her because she makes me feel like the PCP I had in Chattanooga, which was a really important factor in me finding and staying with a new PCP here. If you are new here or just looking to change I would suggest this practice and this physician.

Have to wait weeks to see a Doctor other than that it’s great. I sure would hate to be really sick. I would either be better or dead before they could see me.

It’s so difficult to make early appointments here, they want you to call at 8am & hope you get one or get one that’s months away.And they’re super rude, asked the girl for my appointment time & she said “I already said it” like it was some complicated task.If you can’t be nice to people you shouldn’t work with the public.

In December 2017, I saw Dr. Emily Rooks for a couple of minor medical issues. I was pleased with the treatment I received and feel hopeful that Dr. Rooks is qualified to treat any medical issues I may have in the future. However there were other aspects of my experience that werent so good. I had blood drawn for lab work and as of 2 weeks later I had not received any follow-up with results in spite of 2 phone calls. There is a flyer posted at the office informing patients about a web portal service where they will be able to access their healthcare information. The flyer states they will be given access to this portal after their visit, but this never happened. In addition, I left a message on voice mail and was promised a callback within 4 hours. That didnt happen either. I dont know what the problem is, but my overall experience with Tanner Primary Care in Carrollton has left something to be desired. Its possible my expectations were too high.

I had an appointment, on the date of my appointment the doctor had a family emergency. I tried to reschedule but they gave me a appointment that was about a month away. I was so disgusted because evidently if I made the appointment I must have need to see the doctor. I have yet to see the doctor and it’s about two months later

Love my doctor. (Y. MaKori) but front desk receptionist Wanda is very rude. She needs to learn to be mannerable with the job she has.

Ive been to a lot of doctors offices and have NEVER felt comfortable or cared for in the slightest. This one, in a short time, has changed that. I feel that I get a high level of care, a doctor who will sit down with me and really talk to me about what Im going through (and even what hes going through!) and that we are on the same team. The nurse staff is great, personable, and I feel completely at ease here, which is saying something huge as someone with white coat syndrome that spikes my BP and Heart Rate noticeably. That hasnt been the case here. I hope these folks get rewarded for making medicine more about people than dollar signs. Thanks.

The staff was the best, they are so warm and caring. No long wait time to see a doctor, blood drawn on site for all labs...

I came in sick at my appointment.i have been dealing with sinus infection.real bad one.i have had ear problems since I was a child with the care of ENT doctor John Burson.i tell you what works and you guys fail to listen to what works for me.you write a antibiotic that Ive never heard of.you want to try this ..Im not your lab rat..Its Monday and you yell if I dont feel better by Friday to call.what is the point of being a health care facility I want to feel better and not wait another week.Isnt your duty to get a patient better in the most timely fashion.Pitiful just plan pitiful.I want be back and thanks for pushing me have back surgery my life is in turmoil because you referring me to Orthopedic surgeon.have some compassion for a human body.I want be back and I orta talk to my attorney for the pain and suffering.cause its all about money not a person quality of life.

Front desk is very rude. Didnt even get a chance to speak with someone.Very unprofessional.😡😡
