LONG WAITS ALWAYS! I COULDNT CARE LESS ATTITUDE FRONT STAFF! AVOID THIS PLACE! I needed a simple lab test today 2/18/19. I was in some pain. This location (MACL, 11911 North Meridian Street, Carmel, IN 46032) is chronically slow / understaffed. If you can, go to a different location, like MACL St. Vincents), please do that. AVOID THIS LOCATION! I arrived just before lunchtime, and signed in. Long list of people ahead of me, and all their names are clearly present and viewable (Privacy concerns). No one is at the desk. No one is being called up. Even the guy delivering lunch could not summon a single soul there to sign for the food. 35-40 minutes go by, I sit there with the others, slowly fuming at the lack of staff and poor service. I finally get called up to verify my insurance info and lab order. I explained my frustration, and the Smiling receptionist said Oh well, we had a busy day. No concern for the patient. Same exact scenario last time I was here as well. Long wait times, unapologetic staffers. Expect to get treated like cattle. Then get your bill and pay it. In all honesty, the person behind who actually does the test is professional and does the work well, but the attitude from the from the front and the vibe from the organization is awful

This was one of the worst medical experiences I have ever had. The nursing staff that I encountered was cold, disrespectful and not kind. I was there to get blood work done for my 3 year old daughter! We were there right when the doors opened and had about a 25 min wait which turned into an hour long experience.My daughter has clearly not had blood work done before seeing that she is only 3! The nurse did not welcome us with any kind words or a sense of safety as I myself was a little anxious on behalf of my daughter. During the actual blood draw and time in the lab the nurse did no speak a single word to my daughter. She seems annoyed and angry that she had to “put up” with a crying 3 yr old. My daughter was clearly unhappy which most small children would be but there was no support or kindness spoken to me or my daughter from our nurse. The only thing she said say were snarky remarks about my daughters response.I would not EVER recommend this place to any one i know, I also will inform many of my friends in the medical industry about my experience and not to referral their patients to this location.

Ive gone here many times and never had a bad experience.

I went for a blood draw at this location due to possible thyroid disease, 5 days later my doctor still has not received the result. After several phone calls, my doctor finally receive 1 test out of 6 different tests ordered. When asked where the rest of the tests were, their unprofessional and ignorance answer was “we don’t know why those tests were not done” and ask me to come back for another blood draw. I went for the blood tests NOT out of FUN!! The symptoms are painful and the doctor will need to see the blood tests before prescribing ANY medication, It is that simple, what cant you understand?? Now because of these incompetent people working for this company, I might have to wait for another 5 days before anything can be done regarding my symptoms. You are playing with people’s lives! Can’t you people actually READ the doctor’s order and follow thru?? You are dealing with people’s lives NOT flipping burgers! You could not even get a job at McDonalds since they sure would want to have the order done right.

They have a new way of checking in with a computer screen outside the main window. Amanda who was at the window was pleasant in her greeting and to the eye.;) Had to wait a bit, but with a few in line it wasnt bad. Better here than 146th.

Open at 8; not 730am, as stated. 1st person had 8:05am appointment. He was called in at 8:15.

I always get great service from this Mid America Lab location. I live closer to another location, but this is the one I prefer.

I used to get great service from this location. However this week was greeted by a very uncaring and even rude receptionist who acted like he really didnt want to be there.

Longer wait, but this was just due to the high traffic. The nurse practitioner was very kind and welcoming once my turn came around. The work was done professionally and courteously.

We had appointment for 8:45 and someone came in with a appointment for 9:45 and they took him first. What’s the reason for having to have a appointment? People who walked in were also taken before us. Very disappointing.

Ive never been disappointed with the courteous service, and friendliness of the staff. Even when overwhelmed with clients both nurses are kind and efficient.

Mid-America Clinical Lab review:40 min wait. Phlebotomist seemed to hate life that day (or hate people because that shone through her disposition). Refused to engage with the patients...literally asked name & DOB then just silence. Didnt even greet me once she called my name at the door just walked down the hall, pointed to the room, didnt ask me to have a seat. NO conversation whatsoever. Front desk was short & snippy too. Also, one of the most painful blood draws Ive had. She wasnt even good at her job on top of her rude demeanor. My arm still hurts 2 days later.Im from Greenwood & always have my bloodwork done down here at Southpointe. The girls are so pleasant, efficient & genuinely nice. I should have (& will in the future) just have gone there. I never feel the blood draw. Very gentle & great @ their jobs.

These folks are great - sometimes the wait is long if a lot of people are there, but they are really good at drawing blood

Nurse Hong was late and rude!
