I found this looking around online for a new hair salon to go to. It had great reviews and pricing seemed totally reasonable. Was able to easily schedule a haircut and had it confirmed quickly. Convenient location downtown Carmel. Super cute and welcoming space.I scheduled with Dalton as my hair stylist. She was super friendly, awesome, and did a fantastic job with my hair! It felt like hanging out with a friend and getting my hair done at the same time. Sam was also there and very friendly as well. I really liked the relaxed vibe and am happy to have a new hairstylist. My hair looked so good when done. Definitely would recommend and will return.

I just had my second appointment with Sam. I think I made for a difficult hair canvas because I put henna on my hair a few months ago- ya know, because it was natural and cheaper. Well, of all the salons with all the stylists, I somehow stumbled upon Sam- a godsend with the knowledge and skill beyond anything Ive experienced.I have been to countless hair stylists to cut/shave/bleach/dye my hair. Ive had horrendous results I wanted to hide. Ive had irreparable damage, leading me to cut ALL my hair off. Ive also had beautiful examples of art done to my hair.Anyway, I went to Sam on a whim with henna hiding in my hair that had not been cut in almost two years. This woman somehow saved my length AND took me from dark brunette to orange to the most perfect white/neutral highlighted blonde I could ask for without damaging my hair. Shes the first person Ive had who took notes on how the previous session went so we could move forward accordingly. Based on what she knew she had to do to get us out of the red/orange mess, I dont know if another salon could have succeeded. Ive found my hair person!Take my experience and just imagine what she could do for you!

New Leaf Salon is my GO-TO place for nails! Ive been going to Mary Starbuck for a long long time and simply love her. I love her manicures and pedicures and treasure all the chats we have in the meantime! She is extremely good at what she does and a very sweet person. :-)

A cozy little place with very talented stylists. Nailed what I wanted and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with what I had by guiding me through several choices and recommending what would look good. Very affordable with a Groupon, and decent prices even without, especially for the talent/skill level

Can’t even get someone to answer the phone so I can schedule an appointment. Now I have to wait for the Groupon to expire to be able to trade it in for a better business.

The owner Sam is a perfectionist and it is reflected in her work. Never had a bad hair cut from her, i wont go anywhere else! Mens hair cut is about average in price compared to other salons, but quality is above and beyond

I had a spa mani pedi with Mary. I have visited many places with lower prices, but never have I ever had such wonderful treatment. I swear she spent almost an hour pampering my feet before she even started painting them. My feet havent looked this good in years. Not to mention how sweet and friendly she was. Very intimate cozy spot. I will be returning someday.

This is a small place, but its cozy. I liked the process of my nails getting done..but after a few hours they started to chip the Same day they were done. And on the second day a few of my nails were half way chipped. Im not happy how my nails turned out, but Im okay about..

Definitely worth the trip to Carmel

Had purchased a Groupon for Mani-pedi. Had to reschedule my original appointment (which I was able to schedule right after purchasing). When trying to reschedule, I have only received a voicemail at salon for last 4 weeks! Very poor customer service. It does not matter what time of day I call, no answer from a live person and no return calls. How are they going to get new business if they have such poor customer service? I want my money back! Unsatisfied!

My husband purchased a groupon for a spa mani pedi and lets just say I wont be returning. My appointment was supposed to start at 5:30 and I dont think she started till 6:15. Cuticles were not cut back and feet werent really scrubbed except with the brown sugar scrub. The brown sugar scrub hurt when she put it on as well. When she painted my nails the polish didnt even cover the whole nail and the polish chipped after one day. I think a little kid could have did a better job. The nail tech April was very nice and she seemed to know a lot about nails but for doing nails for 16 years she didnt know how to paint. I am usually not one to complain but I think it was a total waste of money.

April was super attentive and did a fabulous mani pedi on both my daughter and I.

Sam is hands down, the best!!!
