When I got tired of the HMO run around I was confused how to find a good GP doctor. Being in martial arts all my life I asked a fellow Judoka who was a doctor but not a GP.He highly recommended Wilson Liu MD in Carlsbad CA. It has been about two years now and I did not find a good doctor I found a GREAT doctor.I will be 79 this month and with age comes issues Dr. Liu spends the time to listen so he can treat and help you.I find too many doctors are just too busy for the patients good and believe that maybe the cause of getting it wrong half the time.If you want a GREAT doctor look no farther.Dr. Liu is amazing and he has helped me with several issues that never even came up with my HMO and I struggled for years before doctor Liu picked up and teated the root cause.I highly recommend him and his wonderful staff. Being new to Oceanside Im so glad I did my homework and selected Dr. Liu as my PCP. He exceeded expectations after seeing his great rep from various sources online. Dr. Liu is GREAT with communication, especially questioning, listening, & follow-through. He is very thorough, not at all rushed, with a kind & calming demeanor. Also GREAT front office - the combination of which is very rare in my experience. Some of the best doctors Ive had have had horrible front offices, & vice-versa. Dr. Liu is wonderful, with a great & available front office staff as well.

Of all the physicians I have encountered during my lifetime, Dr. Liu is by far the best family practice physician I have had the pleasure of being a patient. He has always extremely passionate about my well being takes as long as needed for me to explain my concerns. Every referral he has ever recommended to has been of the highest caliber. I have recommended him to several people and none have expressed any regret. When I found out he was back in the area, I immediately returned as a patient...even when I lived in Orange County. As I travel around during my retirement years, I will continue to retain Dr. Liu as my family physician as long as I can. I have found none better qualified.

Dr. Liu is a doctor who cares. He listens closely to what you have to say; asks questions based on what you say and symptoms that you exhibit; then suggests alternate approaches to solving your problem. He usually suggests that we try a minimal approach to the problem, then goes to a more powerful approach if the initial approach does not produce satisfactory results. He follows up with phone calls to see how you are doing. My wife and I have a great deal of confidence in Dr. Liu. We highly recommend that you see him.

Dr. Wilson Liu came highly recommended by my surgeon. I didnt have much luck finding a family doctor. Dr. Liu is never rushed, takes time to listen to you and treats you as if you were a family member. His staff is amazing.
