On 6-22-20 I went to Zen Dental for Cleaning and X-Ray. The dentist, Dr. Souza, said my #3 & #4 crowns were old and should be replaced. I agreed to do so for the quoted price of $2610. On 8-14-20 2 permanent crowns were installed by Dr. Souza. On 5-19-21 Crown #4 fell off, taking with it a piece of my tooth with it. How in the world does a 9 month old crown just fall out of my mouth?!!! I went back to Zen Dental the next day, and was told that because part of my remaining tooth had broken off with the crown, there was not enough material there to adhere to a new crown. I was advised to get either a bridge or implant, (at a significantly higher cost). I met with the owner of Zen Dental, Dr. Evangelista. He offered to refund the cost of the crown $1305, but not install an implant at his expense. Mind you, this means time off of work and numerous dentist visits for me.I consulted two other dentists, and showed them my mouth, the broken crown, and my X-rays from before and after the crown replacement. They both said a post should have been put in place, to prevent the fracture of the tooth. And the last X-ray shows a gap between the crown and the tooth, indicating an ill fitting crown. That could have caused the decay and the tooth to break.I now am seeing an oral surgeon and new dentist for care. The remaining tooth has been extracted, and a bone graft was done. I will get an implant and then a new crown. It is a 9 month process to get an implant, extending over 7 dental visits, with a cost to me of over $8000. All because Zen Dental did not properly replace a crown for me, nor back up their work.

Going to the dentist when you know it’s been way too long since your last appointment is probably difficult for everyone. It certainly was for me. I can promise you, though, that Zen Dental will make it easier. From the receptionist to the dental tech to the dentist himself, everyone on staff was patient, gentle and supportive. I can’t say it was a day at the beach (thanks, TMJ), but I can say it was the most positive and relatively pain-free dental experience I have ever had. In fact, I am returning for more work in a few weeks. Given that I typically wait a decade or two between visits, you should probably trust me when I say they will take good care of you at Zen Dental. Call ‘em, and keep your gums healthy and your smile irresistible.

The team is awesome, the Doctors are talented and great! I have seen hundreds of dentist and only 1 other dentist was able to extract the whole tooth and in less than a hour👍 For having a tooth pulled, fantastic experience! I recommend seeing them.

The entire staff is very professional and demonstrate total dedication to their patients. They always made sure I was comfortable at all times and because of Zen Dental I have literally gotten past my phobia of going to the dentist. The office is immaculate and safety is taken seriously. This was one of the best visits I ever had to the Dentist. Great team of professionals including the Dr. Emily, her assistant and front office Manager. They put together a great Dental Work Plan specific for me and executed it with great bedside manner and attention to detail. They were not pushy! They didn’t try to make cosmetic work appear to be an absolute necessary procedure like many dental Offices are adapt to doing. I appreciate their honesty and professionalism. The front desk staff, dental hygienist, and two dentists I’ve seen while a patient at this office have always been very professional and kind. I don’t feel like they try to upsell any procedures. The dentists just recommend what is necessary. The parking spots are a little tight if you have a big car so come a little early if you’re not a good parker!

I was referred to Dr Brians office through a close friend who had had various dental work done by him over the years. When I first called, her front office receptionist was thorough, patient and so kind. Admittedly, I arrived a little late for my first appointment yet Alexis was understanding and made sure she received all outside records without any issue. The space was clean and Lia (Im sorry If I mis spoke her name) was so gentle and thorough. Then Dr. Brian came in and made me feel like I was his only patient (I may have been🤣 due to the pandemic and precautions in place, spacing out patients) but regardless it felt nice to have his undivided attention and fit me into his schedule for a last minute procedure. He was thorough, professional and personable. The reviews are spot on, if not underestimating his bedside manner and meticulous care in his work. Its not often we look forward to seeing our dentist but Dr. Brian certainly made my least favorite place an enjoyable one.

Chose this dentist because they are super close to my house. Glad I chose them! The staff is some of the most friendly staff Ive ever seen. Dr Brian was the one that set up my plan and was very detailed and explained all my issues so I had almost no questions afterwards. During the procedure, they let me know what they were doing and what I would feel, if any pain they numbed me more with no questions asked. Overall a very good experience and happy to get my chompers fixed here, highly recommend!

It was a very good experience. Everybody was very nice. The dentist was very dedicated to her exam and she was explaining everything to me from the diagnosis to the reason of the treatment. The assistant was also informing me about all what she was doing and they had a person dedicated to explain me every part of the budget.

This is a great office. The staff are fantastic and they provide great dental care for their patients. Dr. Kim and Kelly are great. No one enjoys going to the dentist, but Zen dental will give you the best possible experience. They have great routine care all the way up to 3D printed caps for broken teeth available within hours. I couldnt be more pleased.

I have had a good amount of work done at Bella Vita throughout the last year ranging from basic cleanings to tooth implants and crowns. So far everything has been great. My mouth doesnt feel weird and was never too sore. Dr Shelton and her team have been friendly and helpful throughout the process helping me schedule my appointments around work as well as keeping an eye on what my insurance will cover. I would recommend Bella Vita to anyone in need of extensive dental work.

In the past 2 experiences, my visits were revolved around getting a few fillings done and a cleaning. Instantly, I was greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming environment. To be honest I have never had a root canal done, let alone two and I couldnt even tell the difference between my regular dental work. It was painless. Fast. They even had good music while in the chair (let me pick)! The staff was kind, friendly and expeditious. I for sure would recommend to my friends. I am a senior who needs several crowns and a filling done. I have been to several dentists over the years, and Zen Dental is at the top of the list. Excellent work. Efficient and compassionate staff. So happy we found this practice!

I was not surprised to see quite a few negatives in this section. (Dr. Debbie Kim DDS)So, I am not the only one who brings that up.If there was a 0 rating, I would rate Dr. Kim with a zero.I had had a very good doctor before,he retired last summer and sold his practice to Dr. Kim with all the patients.She had my first exam and immediately *sentenced* two crowns with a leak,And recommended to replace both crowns. That came as a big surprise, because I had no problem with those teeth, no pain whatsoever. My previous dentist regularly checked my teeth and I did cleaning every 4-6 months. I shrugged and agreed with the proposed re-treatment. They charged me $1800 for one crown. I should have sought the second opinion, but I have not.. That’s when my troubles started.She made me jump through hoops with the first tooth. She said they use a very advanced computerized crown creation tool, so the plan was to remove the old crown and and put a new one in the same day. But. The day when she removed the old crown (I repeat, that tooth never bothered me, and the crown I had on was over 10 years old) Dr. Kim said I had a problem with root canal which was done years ago. (that after Kim have done numerous x-rays) So instead of putting a new crown as she promised, I was sent to a root canal specialist, who turned out to be very good (Dr. Merchant)He treated root canal ($1300) and put some medicine in it for a month to wear. So the new crown was cancelled for almost 2 months and the charge was not refunded. When I came back to Dr. Kim they put a new permanent crown that lasted a little less than 2 months and came off. For now it came off several times and the crown was adjusted numerous times. I went through a lot of pain, like once it popped up and the razor sharp cement edges cut my tongue to bleeding.So enough is enough. I asked (previous dentist) for the second choice doctor. He recommended P. Rapport, who turned out to be a very good dentist, I am now with him. BTW, the second tooth with a crown Dr. Kim condemned as leaky, turned out to be no problem per my new dentist. And the crown in question was simply not well done. So it was unnecessary imposed treatment, all for money sake, not for a patient .sake. Plus arrogant incompetence.Everyone who has a dentist would agree about your dentist hands. My ex dentist hands were magic. Never shakes or tremor in your mouth. He always anticipates any possible pain. The same goes for Dr. Merchant and Dr. Cho (I visited him today to decide whether I should pull the troublesome tooth or do crown lengthening.)Her (Kim’s) hands are shaky at best. And not friendly at all. She always seems like being in a hurry. She made the record amount of x-rays that summer, no-one else did so many on me. In Spite of that the problem was missed at the initial exam. I don’t believe root canal problem appeared in a few days. It usually brews for months.)Now that I spent all that much money on treatment, she mentioned at the last appointment, when the crown came off the third time, that maybe the tooth should be removed and replaced with the implant ($5,000). And one last time I asked her to refund the price of unsuccessful crown - she said - I dont know what you eat that the crown comes off so often.

They are so awesome here! They automatically know who I am when I call or walk in! The doctors and hygienists always check to make sure how you are doing and try to make the most comfortable experience possible! I absolutely love them, Im always fully satisfied with my experiences. Definitely recommend to anyone needed any dental work done!

Ive never really seen a point in reviewing a business until now. I started going to Bella Vita about a year ago and have had work done I have been avoiding for years! I feel confident in my smile again. The staff was always very pleasant, the facilities clean and Dr Shelton was very knowledgeable and thorough. My entire life I can always remember hating the dentist. Never feeling comfortable, always being afraid, and lets face it its not Disney land, its the dentist! The staff at Bella Vita dental, and Dr Shelton have changed my life! Seriously! from the second I was warmly greeted by the girls at the front desk, asking me if i would like any coffee of water, the hygienist Allison who took my X-rays and gave me a thorough cleaning, to the educated and empathetic Dr. Shelton, I have not been to the dentist in quite some years, and as embarrassing it is to say; I had some pretty big cavities. Dr Shelton made me feel comfortable and in good hands during the whole visit, and now I can rest assured that Im back on track with my dental health. I read the review below this, and I have to disagree! With the way of the internet now-a days, most businesses and consumers rely on feed back from others. Google/Yelp reviews have become the way to get your word out there! Heck, I Google everything! The team at Bella Vita did ask me if I would give my feed back online about my visit, whether it be good or bad, and I completely know why, My experience was good, and I trust they treat their other patients just as well. Overall great experience. Staff was prompt, curious and keep me informed throughout my procedure.

Everyone in this office is fantastic! They are very compassionate, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. If you can believe it, I actually enjoy going to the dentist for a change. I could find a dentist much closer to my home, but I choose to drive nearly 20 miles round-trip to come here.

If there were fewer stars than one, this practice earned it.Local hi-tech companies, beware. This practice Zen , which was previously Bella Vita, will try to charge you for whatever THEY think your employers will bear, and they do not go back and refund your $$, nor analyze your account to determine that you have been overcharged.I spent hours over that, got about $300 back.Latest with Zen, is they charged for an out of network dentist, who doesnt practice with their office. Sent the EOB to me, called Delta, and and they do not have any way of fixing this error, other than to contact Zen.And they (Delta) cannot provide me with the contact information for the dentist that Zen used on the paperwork So contacting the dentist whose ID they put in is out of the question.This erroneous charge could affect my credit record, as this ghost dentist has hubs info on/in his accounts receivable, and the bill will not be paid.Shameful, time-consuming, unprofessional, that sums this office up.Put in a call to Office Manager and Dr. Kim, but I am not hopeful.

I had a deep cleaning at zen dental and it had been at least 5 years since ive been to the dentist. Everyone was very friendly and professional. Sometimes with work my schedule can be a bit hectic and im a bit forgetful, but Kari followed up with me several times to remind me. I even missed some appointments and there were no fees. Kari and Alex at the front are the best. Dr. Souza and her assistant Carolina were fantastic as well. They took extra special care of me. Thank you.

I want to thank you all for the kindness,patience and gentleness you showed my 91 year old MOM today. She was scared at first,but the dentist,and all who were helping, from the staff in front to the staff in the back put my mom at ease with all of your kind words and warm smiles. When I came in for my teeth cleaning Karina was super sweet and very accommodating to my schedule and verified my insurance before I even showed up. I would recommend Zen Dental to anyone looking for quality dental care. The staff is great and Dr. Souza was very gental and detailed THANKS ZEN DENTAL see you guy on my next vist.

I never thought I would submit a review for a dentist but the team at Bella Vita really made an impression on me. I had several procedures done over the last 3-4 months and seriously theyre thorough, knowledgeable and very precise. It also really helps that theyre very pleasant to be around!Ill certainly recommend them to any friends, family or people looking for a dentist!

Whoever said going to the dentist was scary?! I was able to pick my favorite tunes, watch my crown get designed with state of the art software, and then watch it get created. The staff is young, bright, and made me feel as comfortable as possible.

I could not imagine being happier with all of my experiences here. The staff are all a joy, I feel welcome and pampered every time I visit. I am a poor college student, and my budget is extremely skinny. I recently needed two crowns, and the total cost was way beyond what I could pay up front. They (to my surprise) were able to bring the best quality work into a range that I could afford, preventing me from settling on a poor long-term investment into my dental health.Every experience at Bella Vita is relaxing, prompt, efficient and smooth.
