I had the worse dental experience in my life. they should change the word gentle for painful. a lot of the five star reviews are fake because at the second appointment they give you a one time whitening teeth treatment for a review. If you want to have a painful treatment this is the place to go. I cant still chew on my left side due to a some mistakes they made, now am have to pay twice to get that fix.

We have been going here for years and are always so satisfied with our care. They are a well oiled machine with great staff. Everyone is so friendly and very patient with my young kiddos. The dentists and assistants are respectful to let me explain things to my children and get their consent for procedures. It matters!! The work is efficient and thorough, the admin is organized and friendly! Highly recommend this dental office

My last visit yesterday, Sept 2, was just one of the positive experiences. I was in so much pain, messaged Aileen about it and got a response immediately and was seen same day. All the staff were very understanding and sympathetic as soon as i arrived. Aileen must have informed the whole team about my situation. I was seen in less than 10 minutes. The staff who assisted the dentist was very caring and talked to me in a way that made me feel better already. I wish i remembered her name but she was awesome!Dr Bilguujin Dorjsuren fixed the problem and she’s always gentle in all procedures i have undergone with her including the latest one. Really is Gentle Dental. If youre like me, and hate going to the dentist due to an unnatural fear of pain, dont worry this place takes great care to make sure youre comfortable and not experiencing pain. I had fillings done a deep clean and replaced a bridge. All of this was accomplished with little discomfort to me. If youre on the fence go for it you wont regret it.

Before I discovered this dental office my experience with Dentists or more accurately dental offices which are managed by those who prepare the treatment plans and their associated costs I have had many bad experiences which really planted the seeds of mistrust.I have been going to this dental office for a few years now and they have always demonstrated that their primary focus is on the wellness of their patients rather than how can best to maximize their insurance claims and copays. The staff is very engaging and present. They listen and more importantly they hear what I am saying and always make sure that I know all of my treatment options providing both Pros and Cons and clearly explaining the associated costs. They do not immediately hard sell the most expensive option or try to sell you cosmetic procedures diguised as necessary treatments.

State of the Art facility. Professional courteous staff. Covid prevention hygiene, sanitary; dental team completely covered in gowns, gloves, masks head coverings. Throughout the years thought had dentists that were competent. They were not, two dentists under diagnosed [had cavities and wasnt informed] and the third over diagnosed [suggesting having procedures deemed not necessary]. Fortunately Dr. Negrete had the answers beginning with a comprehensive, specific and detailed evaluation. Get a physical examination yearly, take my car in for evaluation yearly and my teeth got an evaluation hadnt had prior and am extremely pleased with the process. Dr. Negrete is an exemplary Dentist; soft spoken, calm, communicates with specificity, a dedicated practitioner with knowledge of the newest, effective patient care treatments. Extremely pleased with my dental care.

The staff here at Gentle Dental are literally the best! Before coming here I hadn’t been to the dentist in a few years. And though my poor dental habits had shown, they didn’t make me feel bad about it. My hygienist simply said, you’re here now, and we’ll take care of you. I’ve been back 3 times now as a part of my maintenance plan and the progress has been crazy. Going for 4’s and 5’s to mostly 3’s and 2’s in my gum pockets in 2 months is a great feeling. I came to genital dentistry for my 6 month dental cleaning and exam. I’m new here after being hit with so many extra fees from my X dentist office. So I changed to Gentle Dentistry at 2620 El Camino Real suite A near Sprouts. I was in and out with exam and cleaning in less then an hour. Rosalie and Clarissa hygienist were great. Used ultrasonic cleaning and scaling.... no hidden fees. Dr Hwang was really informative and efficient. This is a great place for dental care. Cecilia at Front desk was so helpful in explaining services. They even fitted me in for cleaning all in one visit.... great place !!!.

July 2021,This Dental Treatment Facility is not My Primary Dental Office. I was refered to this Facility by My Dental Insurance, [MET LIFE], Because I needed an in-network subscriber.My purpose to go get treatment at this Facility was because I was suffering with Failed crown installations from last year on my lower left jawbone, mollars #18 & #19. My regular Dentist was telling Me to go to and Endodontical Specialist. All the particuliar offices that He refered me to were out of network. That changes the cost significantly. I was forced to call insurance help desk and request assignment for nearby Dental Facilities in Carlsbad & Oceanside. There were a few but within Carlsbad only about (3).I pay attention to reviews and remarks about business practices and customer care. Only, [GENTLE DENTAL] had a good reviews. Any negative comments I read carefully to see if maybe that customer/patient was just being unreasonable.... GENTLE DENTAL was my choice.I was suffering very very severe pain and swelling. I already was knowledgable that I needed a Root Canals. I have never experienced Root Canals, My (8) crowns installed last 2020 was very painful. My apprension was due to the pain factor.Upon my intial visit I was greeted respectfully and the staff was able to read my facial frustration. They were good at listening to my regrets and complaints of my prior Dental Work. I was calmed with kindness and patients. I cannot say enough for the People Skills that were utilized by, Ms. Aileen, Ms. Cecilia, Mr. George, and Ms. Sheena. They do not have a permanent EndoDoctor on Staff but are Cotracted with a Wonderful Man and assistant [DDS Mr. HARIS LAKISIC]. This Doctor also allowed Me to explain my discomfort from other Dental Facility that performed install of my crowns. Dr. LAKISIC is native BOSNIA, He possesses a superior knowledge and skills to perform any oral surgery. In spite of the pain I experienced of the procedure He was well aware and did evevything possible to comfort me and worked diligently to speed the procedure without any compromises. Upon completion the Dental Tech took (2) x-rays and I was impressed. The next morning after I awakened I felt no pain in My Jawbone and Tongue.Friends, Please consider your Dental Care to these Folks at [Gentle Dental]. This facility will treat you with utmost comfort and care. They are understanding that Dental Doctor visits are not pleasant. But I assure you these People give you 100% Asian Hospitality.....

Very disappointed in this dental office. I made an appointment for my husband over 2 weeks for him to go in at 5pm. Then the Friday before (the appointment is on Monday) they call asking if he could move up the time. I explained most likely he couldnt because he just started a new position and cant get off work early.When i originally made the appointment i explained everything he was concerned about, and the girl booked me saying it would be no problem.So when i get a text 24 hours before the appointment stating his appointment has been moved up to 4:40 ( he gets off work at 4:30 and wouldnt make it in time) with out any asking or confirming ( the guy said on the phone that 45 minutes wasnt enough time for a cleaning and consult , so if its not enough why would you allow someone to book that time?) is very disappointing. I never received a call stating hey it cant be done, we have to move it to this time if you cant make it lets reschedule you It was hey we dont have enough time and we need him to come in early and when i stated that wasnt likely he kept pushing saying it wasnt enough time. The gentlemen who called really needs a customer service run down. Because thats not cool to make a patient feel like they arent worth someones time and that their schedule ( despite it being scheduled 2 weeks in advance) isnt as important as the dental office when they havent even come in for their first visit yet. You had two weeks to let us know it wasnt enough time, but your lack of attention to detail has now caused a huge hole in the trust/know what your talking about department.

This is the best dental place I’ve been to! The staff are so welcoming and friendly I use to dread going to the dentist since I was a child but this place changed that. I’ve had many things done here from cleaning, regular check ups, X-rays, root canal, replacing crowns, and now Invisalign. It always feels great when people actually take the time to talk to you and know your name. I highly recommend this place!

I came here because one of my molars cracked in half and needed to be extracted. Dr. Dutta was wonderful! She explained she could remove the tooth, gave me options and explained everything as she went along. All work was completed in less than 1 1/2 hours. (Exam, numbing, extraction and bone grafting.) Dr. Dutta holds Masterships and Fellowship Awards with the AGD. Carlsbad Gentle Dental is fortunate to have her. I will definitely be returning to Carlsbad Gentle Dental for my future work!PS. I had previously gone to another dental group that said I would have to go to their specialist for the work. The specialist was 5 times the price as Gentle Dental. So, Gentle Dental was my 2nd opinion. Im so glad I went there!

Dental appointments cant be sugarcoated any way you look at them. So my only complaint today was the extra 20-30 minutes I had to wait for my hygienist to see me. In the grand scheme of things, not a big deal.

I had an appointment at 10am and waited 2 hours until I finally left. I asked at 10:30 how much longer it would take to be seen and the front desk lady explained all the rooms were taken because the OS surgery was taking all the rooms which basically said to me and the other two woman who had appointments that we were being pushed back because others were being prioritized. I was taken to the back for an exam at 11:10 and finally ended up leaving at 12 because they were still waiting for a room to do my cleaning. This is very unprofessional and clearly there is a disconnect in how appointments are being managed it is disrespectful to treat patients this way and completely wasted my time. Unfortunately I have to continue to visit this location because I have my ortho through them.

Just a hunch, but they seem to be recommending way too much work for me and my family members. Crowns on 8 year olds, root canals on 11 year olds, etc. In checking these reviews I have noticed they have 2 stars on Yelp with 99 reviews and very good rankings on google. Im wondering where the disconnect is...

Required work and charges explained in advance. I especially appreciated getting estimates for different crown options. The place I left only provided one with an estimate for the most expensive type until I asked.Staff was friendly, wait times were short, it was painless, and everything feels great now.

This Gentle Dental location in Carlsbad tried to screw me over TWICE. First I was told, that 12 of my teeth needed to be fixed, when in reality only 2 did (I checked with another doctor couple months later)!!And the second time was when they put protective film saying its gonna be free because my insurance covers it, but couple months later started calling me & my EMERGENCY contact number (my parent) in order to collect $25.It took about 4 calls & couple of hours of my time to make them cancel that amount.AVOID THIS BUSINESS AT ALL COST !!

I wish we could select 0 stars. I thought this was going to be a good office based on these google reviews but I was wrong, along with all the good reviews... Routinely we had to wait upwards of 30 minutes after our appointment time even when we were early. The front office staff was friendly and cordial, there technicians were very nice and personable, but their billing practices are terrible. Do not go here if you do not understand your benefits, they routinely tried to overcharge me for things that were covered under my dental plan!

I wanted to take time to share my experience with this place, I am still very active and need to have crowns done on my both of my front teeth, so for the time being I have bonds done that have come out often, the first dentist I sat down with refused to fix the bond I had previously done at the same place 2 days before that fell out, so out of nowhere Dr. Christine Evans comes to my chair sits down and tells me I am going to fix your tooth better than ever before and my bond wont come out, she went right to work no nonsense, and I am happy to say it turned out completely amazing and solid as a rock! Very impressed but the way stepped in, if you go to this dentist I would highly recommend her! She will be my dentist from now on! Thank you again Dr. Evans!

Gentle Dental is a great place because of the staff (Sheena, Valerie and Joy to name a few). It is also a great place because it doesnt hurt as much as it does at other places. My kid got braces and he said it didnt hurt for long. They are very gentle hence the name. Gentle Dental is suitable for ages from young to old. They make sure that you feel good and they have a really welcoming vibe.

I would give ZERO stars if possible. This place is a mess for scheduling, the office staff is apparently unable to smile and I am *this close* to seeking counsel for malpractice.Also, it is clear that ALL of the 5-Star reviews are fake, I will be reporting their activity to Google for removal.

We have been going to Rosalie for years. She is the best dental hygienist for us. She does her job really well and keeps us well-informed with what we have to do to achieve and maintain healthy teeth.

Flu Shot is worse than getting a shot from Dr. March, he was by far the best Dentist i have ever encountered. I am very pleased with his work and very thankful to Miss Marlene who helped me out with the rest of the procedures. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE SCAMMERS.1) They tried charging me for x-rays I never gotten and when I called them out for it they responded its okay your insurance covers it wow. They are for sure going to be reported. This was stated by Aileen by the way. She is extremely pushy. She is in charge of the insurance charges, so READ EACH AND EVERYTHING on the paper she gives you.2) They tried charging me for fluoride dated 1/31/2020 (today) and I never got fluoride. Again, when I called them out on it, they said its ok, youre not signing for fluoride, youre signing for the filling ABSOLUTELY NOT. I refused to sign it until it was removed.BEWARE, READ YOUR PAPERS AND CHARGES AND I WILL NEVER BE BACK.

I was very pleased with my experienced at gentle dental. This time my first experience was a world away from my previous experiences elsewhere. It was good to be treated with professionalism and care .Miss Aileen (the manager) is fabulous and very caring . Dr. March and all the other employee made me feel that I was in safe hands ,then even made me smile when I left. Then you can believe theyre the best. They explain clearly before ever charging anything . Theyre not fooling around and wont suck your money . Real people, this is truly an exceptional operation .I highly recommend GENTLE DENTAL and look for DR .MARCH & MISS AILEEN .

First visit and VERY pleased. Professional and thoughtful staff. Hygienist provided the BEST cleaning Ive ever had. The dentist suggested reasonable treatment. The last dental shop suggested expensive unnecessary repairs, which has been so frequent a policy at dentists Ive seen. But Gentle Dental suggested only what was really needed. I finally found my forever dentist!

Dr March is super nice! Kids and I enjoyed their visit to the dentist today. Everyone working there is always helpful and smiling. Thanks for a pleasant experience especially for the kids.
