I was so nervous to return to the dentist after years of neglecting my dental health. Mostly because I couldn’t find a dentist that made me feel comfortable since I moved from LA to Oceanside. Well today that changed because Dr Zorro at Smiles for Health is wonderful! She is kind and easy to talk to. I knew I was going to need a treatment plan and I’m so glad I came here. This dentist office was the first one I visited since the pandemic hit so I was honestly a bit nervous. But their clean office coupled with the friendly and welcoming staff- I easily felt comfortable there! I moved from Los Angeles to San Diego in 2005. I loved my dentist who was in Burbank and continued to drive there even just for teeth cleaning until he recently retired. I was extremely lucky to find Dr. Zorro at Smiles for Health. The office is beautiful and equipped with the latest technology and the staff could not be nicer or more accomodating. Dr. Zorro is so gentle and does beautiful work!! I also like the idea of a holistic approach to dentistry. This dental office was highly recommended by a close friend. Unsure if they accepted my Insurance i called to make a new patient appointment. The receptionist took down all my insurance information , not only confirmed what type of insurance i have but also helped me understand my plan and benefits prior to coming in. Unfortunately my insurance is an HMO and this office is not in network. She took the time to explain a membership plan and the fee itself is beyond reasonable for 3 cleaning , 20% off most treatment and to top it off a whitening . Since i dont have a set work schedule i made it clear that i had to be in & out for this appointment. I was given the proper instructions to fill out new patient paperwork prior to coming in. The service over the phone was above and beyond. Very much looking forward to my initial visit.

Wow what a great experience! From the moment my daughter and I walked in and were greeted with the offer of water or tea to the tour of the facility and their innovative technology, to the gentle and thorough treatment from their wonderful hygienist and staff and finally the exam from Dr Zorro it was a truly professional visit. Had an X-ray and plan for cleaning, whitening, filling and redo of a crown that Gateway Denral had botched 5 years ago (tried to fix to no avail). Great communication; great listeners, organized, actually pleasant to be at the dentist’s office. So far so good.

I have been going to Smiles for Health for about two years. The practice is very clean, and has all top-of-the-line equipment.They are always extremely friendly and professional when contacting me about appointments, questions, etc. As soon as you walk into the office for your appointment they check you in, ask you if you need any water, etc.At my most recent visit I was taken in for my cleaning almost immediately. My dental hygienist, Taylor, was very thorough, knowledgeable, and patient. She took the time to ask me if I had any questions and went over any concerns with me.Dr. Zorro is always a pleasure to speak with. She always remembers me from previous visits, and her bedside manner cant be beat.

Dr. Zorro is very kind and takes the time to listen to my concerns. I don’t feel rushed when I ask her a question. I feel very comfortable with the staff and everyone is very friendly and professional. My endodontist recommended her to me and says she is an excellent dentist & he was right! I haven’t been to a dentist office for a few years because my last experience was extremely uncomfortable and extremely expensive even with health insurance. My experience with Smiles for Health was the complete opposite! The staff is so sweet and welcoming in a very genuine way. The office is beautiful and the decor and aroma therapy is very calming. Dr Zorro was awesome! She took so much time explaining what she saw on my X-rays and pictures, I felt like I was in good hands. My deep cleaning was actually not bad at all! The dental hygienist was super sweet and empathetic to any discomfort I was having (which, really wasn’t much). And lastly, the cost was very fair and worth every penny.

After dealing with a headache of different offices I finally called Smile for health and immediately was helped and set an appointment within a 5 minute phone call. Rebekah at the front desk is very friendly and always offers water when you arrive. Bri is super accommodating and is very nice to talk with. Taylor is a very thorough hygienist and has great advice for upkeep in between visits. Marcos is very knowledgeable about my sons hobbies like UFC and is very down to earth when talking about it. Dr. Zorro goes above and beyond and is a very skilled dentist and we have never been uncomfortable under her care. This is the best facility we have been to and the charges are much kinder to your wallet than previous dental fees from other offices in the past. 5/5 for sure. Thanks again :)

Dr. Zorro is a nice person but I’ve had nothing but problems here. Several mistakes, quality problems, scheduling issues, waiting every visit because they run late, and over charges that weren’t covered by my insurance because the fees were double the covered amount resulting in high out of pocket expenses. In the end, I have decided to go elsewhere to have work completed that wasn’t done satisfactorily.

All the girls are very caring and very professional.Dr Diana takes the time to explain step by step all her procedures, you are a participant of the careful work they do in your teeth with great professional criteria. Their equipment is cutting-edge obviously. You will be surprised that their fantastic professional fees as well. With the energy and effort they invest in this clinic theres a 100% chances you leave happy with their work.I highly recommend you visit them.

My previous dentist mentioned that I have some stains on my back teeth, but theyre not cavities and dont need new fillings. My previous dentist also suggested that none of my old fillings need replacing.Smiles for Health suggested that these stains were cavities and need new fillings. Smiles for health also suggested that ALL my old fillings needed replacement.I got a 3rd opinion from another dentist and I have no new cavities and none of my old fillings need to be replaced. None of these old fillings are visible when I smile. I understand that this is a business and needs to make a profit... but profit should not come from unnecessary procedures and unnecessary suffering from the patient.

This is THE most amazing dental office I have ever been to! The office is brand new and is nice and clean. Their sanitary processes are on point. The cleaning was the best cleaning I have ever had. While Dr. Zoro scraped plaque during the cleaning, she did not poke and jab my gums. It was so pleasing to have a cleaning that was incredibly thorough yet gentle at the same time!I also had to have a filing done. And this also, was the most amazing experience I have had getting a cavity filled! Again, she was so very gentle. I am so so happy to have found this dental office and I cannot recommend Dr. Zoro and her staff enough!!!!

For the last few years i’ve been bouncing around from dentist to dentist... i’ve been either treated like another number or been over charged for dental work... last week I had a bad tooth ache 😖 so this made me go on yelp to try to find a dentist close to home...
