The worst place ever. I went there for 3 years. The dentist was willing to bury my implant an put a bridge instead. I still can’t believe it I went there. Scam. The high rate of front fest turn over means that what one priced you for a procedure the other will double. Scam. Stair up rude.Don’t go there, save your time and money.

Ive been going to Dr. Mobasher for several years now, and have almost always had a good experience with La Costa Dentistry. My only issue was when I was living somewhere else and alternately seeing another dentist - I made an appointment to get my cleaning here and was not told beforehand that they would need my xrays from my other dentist before doing the cleaning. Other than that customer service snafu, I have had only good experiences. I will say that they are rather more proactive than reactive, which I actually appreciate, but which can mean that they recommend care that another dentist might put off for a while, or not address at all. I have never felt scammed or like the work they recommended wasnt necessary, though.

Worst dental experience I have ever had. Was re-treated for an infected root canal. The Endodontist (who visits every other Friday) was terrific. However, when he finished his treatment he asked me where my dental office was...? They had no record or schedule to have anyone in the office to complete the procedure. When they figured out the mess, the front office gal came in to try to negotiate services - while my mouth is still full of dental material, and I have an open hole in my tooth. They said I would owe them another $450 (never discussed) to finish - or there were other more expensive options. After being forced to sign for additional services - in the chair - the endodontist had to come back to finish the procedure because there was no dentist available. Sure, the office staff is friendly and the dentist was professional to start... but this tops the cake regarding care of a customer.

This place is a bonafide scam operation. They wanted to give me crowns all around and it would have cost me $10,000. I went to another dentist office and they gave me fillings instead. I am furious at this place. To top it off they treat you like a number, and not a person. I recommend that anyone considering this place to find somewhere else to go.

Its interesting to read the reviews as my experience is the same. Now I see why they didnt care that i would post a negative review because they have so many. They try and jam as many services that they can to slam your insurance company and if insurance at the end declines a service you didnt ask for they bill you and chase you down. Just terrible back office scam DO NOT GO THERE we have so many other dentists around.

Dr Hiba the orthodontist is AMAZING !!!!!!! She did both my daughters braces and my Invisalign she is amazing I recommend this place 💖💖💖 thank you Dr Hiba bring your kids and family and friends she is a PERFECTIONIST 👌 so happy 😀

No one I know who has been there has anything good to say about the place. They make up problems to charge more. I was told I grind my teeth at night and needed a new night guard retainer. It ended up destroying the previous orthodontic work I had done. At the end of that appointment, I was told I had lots of cavities developing, and I may need fillings next time I come in. I saw a different dentist that was close to my university, and totally unprovoked, he asked me why my teeth were so rigid, as they looked like they were still new. He explained that there is no evidence that I ever had an issue with grinding and he also remarked that my teeth looked totally cavity free. Dont be lured into thinking La Costa Dentistry and Orthodontics is reputable by their fancy degrees, modern interior design, and the pretty front desk employees. It is all a facade for an irresponsible dentistry firm!

The worst experience ever. I have been to so many bad dentists and this must be 10 times worse. From the so called Dr. to the front disk they all are unprofessional and rude. The first thing they ask you is what is your phone number, where do work, and many other personal questions that have nothing to do with the teeth (felt like they sell these information). They did not care if I had pain and swollen face, because I asked them what all these questions then it is better if I find another dentist. I had swollen face and told the so called Dr. that and she refused to treat me. I booked online, when I came there they said we do not have your reservation you can sit and we will try to get you in. Someone tell me what that means. Dont be lured into thinking La Costa Dentistry and Orthodontics is reputable place the Dr and front desk employees are irresponsible people!

The best. Courteous, polite and efficient. This office is staffed with quality professionals and has all the latest equipment.

This place is a total joke ! It took them over 1 month just for a medical release from my doctor. Witch they never got because even after back and forth emails and me giving them my doctors fax number they still did not get it and didnt even try. in the beginning they were so quick to get me in the chair and even taking a bunch of x-rays but did not clean my teeth . They were waiting for my doctor they said. He told me they never faxed them. This place is full of LAZY PEOPLE WHO DO NOT DO THEIR JOB .Both Roxanne and good old Monya just sat on my stuff for over a month and I never got my teeth cleaned thanks to them . Lazy , unprofessional and this place totally sucks ! I do not recommend this dentist to anyone !

The staff is very professional but more importantly, very kind. Their equipment is up to date and their facilities are very clean and appealing to the eye. The oral surgeon that they contract is knowledgeable, explains the procedures well and makes sure your questions dont go unanswered. I am terrified of the dentist but I was pleasantly surprised by this place and the staff!

Took 6 calls to convince them to submit a claim to insurance. They kept saying insurance wouldnt cover. I insisted they submit the claim anyway. Finally after SIX calls they submitted to insurance. Amazing... Insurance covered the procedure, just like I told them they would. Now, Im on my 5th call to get refunded for what they charged me as they swore insurance wouldnt cover. FIVE calls. Tomorrow will be the 6th call as they said the refund was submitted nearly a month ago, yet I havent received it. They really have no clue how to manage insurance claims, or how to run a business. They really seem to think they know more than they do. Thats the billing story. The dental work is mediocre at best. Im having most of what they did fixed at a different dentist. The amount of time Ive wasted on these guys - they should be paying me for their training.

You always hear horror stories of dentists/dental offices who take advantage of patients and try to up-sell by recommending unnecessary services. Fortunately, I had never experienced it - until now. If youre looking for a new dentist/dental office, do yourself (and your wallet) a favor and dont choose this one.

My entire family go to this office for dental, ortho, and cleaning and we have always been pleased by their work and service. Highly recommend..

The girls in the office are very nice and sweet, but the overall treatment I felt was just average, it didnt seem to be complete as far as cleaning and Final polishing also getting new cavities filled.

I came in for the endodontist. I had a consult at another office and it cost almost double. I highly recommend La Costa Dentistry for their professionalism, care and prices.
