I recently had a vision problem I had never encountered before, and when I called the office, they got me in the door immediately, diagnosed the problem, and got me an appointment with a specialist. Im 65 (and get semi-regular eye exams and replacement glasses every few years) and from the outset Carlisle Vision Care provided the best customer care of any vision care office Ive ever used! My wife and I are newly retired to the area and were apprehensive about finding new caregivers (in all facets, not just vision care). The entire staff were welcoming and helpful. Check-in, as easy as it was, was not simply efficient but very friendly. New patient paperwork was not onerous, and I was called before finishing the few pages. There was no rush, and I had a particular issue that I brought up and was resolved with a specific lens application (that my previous office did not resolve). I was surprised to be advised my 3-year-old Rx was still perfectly serviceable. Dr Karns did a great job! The care was excellent! I generally prefer to shop around for glasses and was not pressured at all to purchase there (my wife got 2 pair there). Great compassion, care, and service... and they take our insurance! Couldnt ask for more!

I was pleased with how thorough the exam was, and the doctors explanations of the exam. Very kind and courteous staff. I would recommend.

Great first exam with Dr. Karns. She was thorough, patient, and clear & concise with explanations. She also used cutting edge technology to, I believe, more accurately pinpoint my eyeglass prescription changes (progressive lenses). I am extremely near-sighted and have been seeing eye doctors for almost 50 years. Dr. Karns was as good, if not better, than the best I have seen. Thank you!

Very impressed after my first visit here. Everyone I dealt with from scheduling through payment was very friendly. Very nice office space with updated care, like the retinal photography. Dr. Kramer was patient, personable, and explained things simply and in a comforting way like no previous doctor Ive seen at other establishments. Highly recommend!

The team at Carlisle Vision care was attentive and responsive from the minute I walked into the office until I finished selecting my new frames. The doctor thoroughly explained everything he was doing and constantly checked on my comfort during the examination. When it was time to select my frames the ladies offered suggestions and never tired as I tried on several different frames. I stongly recommend this team!

Everyone was friendly and helpful. However, I don’t know if I’ll be returning there after they charged me $20 for a retinal photo for my child, saying I signed agreeing to it (in the fine print). They should speak to you about this instead of just signing as part of your intake paperwork.

Told me glasses would be in in two weeks never showed up and never received a complimentary phone call. I called next day 4 times left message asking about glasses no call back. Called the following day left message get call glasses will be in on Monday. Monday no call so I call leave a message since no one answer call. No call back so I go to office after work. No glasses should be in Wednesday. No call Wednesday I call Thursday non one answers the phone leave message. Call several hours later get put on hold and glasses still aren’t in. Call Friday person answers not sure if glasses came in, get transferred to answering machine. Ask about glasses no response. At 4:15pm call glasses are in can come get them. Show up to office look at glasses go to try on lens falls out notice other lens isn’t in as well. Girl at counter takes to back and I hear at least 20 different times clicking of lens popping in and out. She returns to say glasses aren’t made right and to call Monday might have to send back to get fixed. I explained to the girl that the other lens was popping out as well and she proceeds to tell me I’m wrong as you could plainly see it was. She had a rude reaction towards me and I said to her that it was unnecessary.

I was only in the area for a week and needed a new prescription, and they were able to fit me in to a busy schedule - even despite a snow storm that morning. Everyone was pleasant and professional to deal with. If Im visiting the area again, this is where Id go should I need anything vision-related.

I was treated very well by the entire staff. This was my first visit and I will be back next year. The Dr gave me a complete exam, explained everything, and answered my questions.

I wasnt a fan of Dr. Kramer and went somewhere else.

I havent had an eye exam in over 4 years - they made it a calm environment and the staff was amazing. The whole process was done quickly and professionally. I was out within an hour. Frames were easy to find, and turned out to be a fun experience. Highly recommended!

Awesome service! Staff is nice and very friendly. Doctors are great. They really care for their patients. I had a little problem with my vision a week ago, called on call doctor after office hours and he got back with me right away, took care of the problem. I am a very happy patient and I definitely picked the right place to have my vision taking cared of. A++

My two children and I were seen with consecutive appointments and everything went very promptly and smooth. I love all the office staff and the doctor was super personable. We really like it and would recommend to everyone we know.

I have worn glasses since I was three and and now I am 74 . I’ve never been able to walk out of a office so satisfied. My bifocals are perfect and the rest of my vision is great. I usually have to go back 2 or 3 times for adjustment. They really care about there patients. Great job Everyone.

Worst service. Upon arrival i was told that they had accidentally canceled my eye exam however no one reached out to let me know this and I left work early for the appointment. Even though they admitted to the error they did nothing to rectify it with me and i just ended up having to schedule somewhere else. I suggest you do the same.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Poor glasses selection also.Schedule somewhere else and save yourself from the waste of time that Carlisle Vision Care is.

I highly recommend this office for all your eye care needs.I took my daughter here for a second opinion for Vision Therapy. I was very impressed with the Dr. Grieneisen knowledge and his way of explaining everything. Everyone in this office was extremely professional and friendly.

The staff and the optometrists are wonderful. They spend a lot of time with you.

Prepare to be impressed. Dr. Grieneisen and his team vastly improved my daughters reading through their great vision therapy work.

Ordered a pair of glasses, was told 7-10 business days for them to arrive. Still do not have them 15 business days later, and was informed today that it would be another week at least before they arrived. Ladies at this office keep passing the buck, blaming everyone else they can think of for the delay and taking no responsibility themselves. They wont even apologize or make any attempt to rectify this situation. I am having to wear my broken glasses held together with tape that I was trying to replace out in public and at work. When I politely expressed my displeasure, I was basically told it wasnt their problem because the glasses are not made on site and they told me to just deal with it.After my glasses come in, if they do, I will never use this doctor again and highly recommend you avoid this place.

Dr. Grieneisen’s very professional (being good at what he does), thorough and patient! It’s a very nice eye clinic, and a great experience for an eye exam, during when we chit chatted, that I felt the doctor’s warmth, care, and me being rather welcomed. Would recommend it for anyone who needs eye care in town.
