I came in with my boyfriend for a referral he got from his PCP about liver issues. After waiting a while the Dr. came in and basically said he was fine but would “do other testing to make sure”. We said alright and he left... without telling us what exactly what we were doing and our plan. We waited in the room just because it’s usual for the nurse to come back in and conclude. A different nurse from before came in and shuffled to another row of seats and didn’t say anything. At this point we still have no clue what we are doing and what we’re supposed to be doing. We get called into the scheduling office for her to call the hospital and schedule our ultrasound appointment for us.... I could have done that on my own and saved about 35 minutes of sitting and waiting. The system was just not efficient at all and again we were so confused as to what was actually happening.

If I could rate 0 stars I would. Rushed me to get an endoscopy out of fear, was put in a waiting room with about 25 other people, then finally I got taken back. They said my partner could not come with me, so I was like ok. I got so terrified of being put to sleep (I never had anesthesia before) so after shaking and crying for 15 minutes they finally take me back and put me under while Im still panicking. I woke up in a room full of other people (I HATED the lack of privacy) and was bloated and in pain the rest of the day. They never told me the findings until I called back weeks later. Doctor, and nurses didnt listen.. just dont even bother coming here.

The only reason Im not giving them one star is because of them performing a colonoscopy to calm my nerves. Im grateful for that. What Im not grateful for, however, is that the doctor refused to do a follow up appointment to discuss the digestive issues IM STILL HAVING. He just says that its whatever Im eating. Uh, right. Im not claiming to know more than a doctor, but when literally everything I eat or drink is causing problems (with practically no pattern), theres definitely something wrong with my system. I guess its okay for doctors to just let their patients go on suffering. Isnt that the opposite of what theyre supposed to do? Arent they supposed to help you figure out whats wrong?Im thankful for the colonoscopy, definitely not thankful for the rest of the experience. I would try someplace else, but I dont know if any others take my insurance.

Office staff is rude and didnt bother to even try to get me in until 3 months later just because the emergency room I went to isnt on call with them.

The office is rude and inefficient. If you have a chronic gastro illness, spare yourself and don’t go to this practice. I had been coming here for decades and just can’t put up with the lack of compassion anymore.

Dr. VanNess has provided a total of 6 colonoscopies between my husband and I over the last several years. He has always been top notch and provided great explanation and care for us.Many of the reviews Ive read, that lend themselves to their unfortunate 2 star standing, have a lot to do with staff treatment. We have had some of that experience on occasion, not overly friendly/engaging but tolerable...having said that,Cheryl, the procedure check in secretary/office person is PHENOMENAL. She is so very caring, kind, attentive, all around friendly person. She makes you feel very welcome and cared for. Thank you Cheryl!She should perhaps lead a team meeting on compassionate patient care. She is a major asset to your practice!

They were good up until you have any issue or problems with treatments. They do not listen and just tell you it must be from something else. Was health with non of the issues that developed until started the prep for the procedures. Doc and staff will tell you it has to be from something else go to your regular MD. Another words pay them to help with the issues that have been with you since you started the prep and still persist 5 days after the procedure all related to the prep.

Dr. VAN Ness did not give right diagnosis! It went into Stage 4 liver cancer before I found out. He kept saying it was my diverticulitis but in reality it was cancer. He didnt keep an eye on my lesions.

The doctors are knowledgeable and explain things well but if you need to call the office to ask a question or set up an appointment, good luck. The only way to get through is to wait for the operator and even that doesn’t work most of the time. Pretty unprofessional if you ask me.

I enjoyed exceptionally good treatment at every station of care. The staff was personable and attentive. I had no side effects or post-surgery issues.

Just a horrible place. The doctor gave me the wrong diagnosis. Everybody is so rude and not helpful. I would not recommend this place at all. Go to Gastroenterology Associates Inc. They are a way better over there. The address is 4665 Belpar St NW Canton, OH 44718 please go there.

As a healthcare professional trying to schedule an appt. for my patient, it was next to impossible. The patient had called 4 times, and myself 6 AND STILL had to leave a voicemail, after speaking to a RUDE scheduling person. Time to refer elsewhere.

Never in my life have I experienced a business that doesn’t answer their phone. It’s so hard to get a hold of anybody, no matter the day or time. I’ve had the same problem 4 times.The actual doctor visit was okay.

I have no problem with the healthcare. The appointment person is abismal. She doesnt know the difference from an answering machine to a call screener. Never answers her phone, no call back. The dial around is maddening, let me talk to a real pearson please! To make a long storyshort, no appointment, no healthcare.

Been two times 10 years apart had Dr . Van Ness. No problems was treated very well by the entire staff. Found the Dr. to be very professional. Would recommend this place .

I have had several office visits and outpatient procedures done here by Dr. Khullar. Ive never had problems getting an appointment, nor waiting excessively once I have arrived for an appointment. A needed prescription was recently processed by the office staff as I finished with the doctor, and it was so fast my pharmacy was texting me the alert before I even walked out the front door. I have no complaints about care or administration; my experience has been first rate.

Doctors here are fine but the office ladies are ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE people and have no respect for clients, treat them like crap, and do not know how to verify insurance either. After 3 hours I had to have my insurance company call THEM to prove I was covered. I wouldnt recommend this place for that reason.

Put you to sleep for the tests so theres that, dr seems pretty knowledgeable. Havent had any issues yet except for long hold times when on the phone

I called and they said they went to lunch and hung up. Then I called back 45mins later and ask are they back from lunch yet? Her response was what do you think. Then I ask could I ask a question about making an appointment. She says are you making one? My response I have a question first. She says hold on? Then puts me on hold for 35mins. I hang up I call back she said if your not going to make a appointment dont call here. So I hung up. I just wanted to ask her if they take my insurance. I couldnt say two words WOW thats all I have to say....

Extremely disrespectful and rude. Tried to make appointment and they claimed I had past bill not paid and I said no way. My insurance has always paid. When I asked for details to clear up they hung up on me.I cant believe the doctors allow their staff to behave in that manner.

Run away! The doctor is great but the staff is incompetent and rude. Over one month to get a medication pre-authorization and still nothing, even after I WENT IN THERE. Run away!

The dr. I seen didnt know what to do except order test and say go e r. Same test twice he had no idea what to do.Run the other way.
