I have been getting my teeth cleaned/checked here for a few years now and it’s great! The staff is super nice. The hygienists do a thorough job cleaning, and it’s quick too. I rarely ever wait, I always get in right away. Super clean and professional.

My hygienist Jessica is great! She take time and makes sure I am happy with my cleaning before I leave the chair. Dr. Baiz is very patient, gentle and comforting he explains in detail any procedure that is needed. The clinical and front desk staff always greet me with a smile. I love my dental office and staff.

Hygienist Jessica is a 5 star rating; she’s amazing. But I can’t go back to this place because their billing and claims is the WORST. They made me pay the full amount even though they can see how much my insurance cover. Then it took 2 1/2 months to get my refund after several calls and complain. Sad part is that you can only talk to the front desk who knows nothing about the claim process and they have to put in a ticket for the claims team to look into it. Imagine paying $1500 in June and your insurance cover $1000 of it in June only to be told that your refund is $397. MATH must be overrated. Didn’t get the $1000 refund until last week after proving to them that their math isn’t working right.

As someone who is very afraid of going to the dentist, I was very thankful when someone took the time to call me when she noticed that my appointment was with a different hygienist than I usually get. Not expecting a different hygienist would have made me more nervous, but now I can plan for the change. She was also very nice on the phone.

Dr. Baiz is great. The front desk needs a bit of work on their professionalism and shouldn’t vent about their clientele while others are in earshot.

Everybody is so nice at this Canton location. My questions were answered and I felt at ease my whole visit. Very clean location. I feel confident in this location that they will keep me with a winning smile.

Good, quick, seemed generally to perform the requisite tasks. Wish they didnt charge for infection control since the insurance says they arent allowed to.

Avoid at all costs. They will insist the first visit can only do X rays and will ask you to come back a second time to do a cleaning, not so convenient if you have a lot of meeting at work. They charge $15 for covid cleaning fee. They will insist on selling you a $25 oral cancer screen, $14 prescription mouth wash. When they inspect pockets in the gums they really dig in with the tool to get artificial high numbers and then prescribe a deep cleaning which will cost $300 for the whole mouth. Ridiculous. This was back in January 2021 so maybe things have changed. I am actually surprised at all the high reviews.

They were very professional and a procedure that I got that is normally painful was basically pain free. Would definitely recommend them and will be coming back. Jessica was amazing.

All the staff was very friendly and polite. Office was very clean. The dentist was very friendly and explained everything to me even educated me on the best toothbrush and correct way of brushing. I would recommend Great Expression!

Michael was amazing! Always asking how I was doing and if I was in pain or uncomfortable. He even worked through me being nervous about the sensitivity I was feeling (from my own self, not from him cleaning my teeth). He also explained what he was doing and why, which I loved!I’ve never felt as comfortable with a hygienist as I did with him! I’ll definitely be scheduling my next cleaning with Michael!!!

I went to Great Expressions in Canton today for a scheduled two week post-op check-up after surgery for a tooth implant. Unfortunately for some reason my appointment was not entered into the offices scheduling system. But lucky for me Dr. Usmani was first class and got me in for the appt so it worked out.

Super nice and helpful! I get very anxious going to the dentist and the staff here really helps make you feel comfortable and no pain. I had work done on my teeth and didn’t feel any pain except for whats expected afterward for a few days, my bite feels so much better! Great dentist and staff overall.

Had to get osseous done at this office, since my didnt offer this. I was greeted with big smiles and walked out with with one myself. After few visits, decided to switch offices. Where I had gotten Invisalign that Dr Baiz was great to answer any concerns of mine before I decided to start this treatment. Awesome teeth cleaning from Michael that I havent seen from other dental offices. The front counter is always full of smiles and joy when I walk in, office manager Kelly is there to help with any questions I may have.

I was going to transfer here from the Lilly Rd location. When I scheduled my appointment 1 month in advance it was clearly communicated that I was transferring from the Lilly location. The office staff even said I would have to change my location with my insurance, which I did. Then they call to confirm my appointment 3 days in advance and I confirm I will be going. Then I get a call one day prior to my appointment asking if I am interested in going because my chart states I like a hygienist at the Lilly location. I said yes I am going to try this office because it is closer to my house. Then Im told I have to reschedule because Im a new patient? I said no Im just changing from the Lilly location. They said it doesnt matter I have to make a new patient appointment, I said well you just read me my chart, obviously Im not a new patient if you have my chart. They then said I still am some how considered a new patient? I said well I cant reschedule and shouldnt have to because its your office staff fault they did not schedule me properly. After arguing with them about this for about minutes I gave up and said never mind, and no I dont want to reschedule. I also feel like the Lilly Rd office nickels and dimes you. They try to get extra procedures and then charge you for extra stuff. I asked for an orthodontic referral for my son and it was never done. Then they are even too cheap to give you a toothbrush/dental floss. Dont go here. Find another place. Great Expressions is horrible.

They overcharge on a regular basis so be sure to watch out. Even with insurance they insist that they use “name brand” materials which insurance won’t cover. I usually have to call insurance after every visit to make sure the billing is correctDentists and hygienists are okay, but office staff leaves much to be desired. They really need to work on transparency.

I would leave a 0 review if possible. I am very upset how a phone conversation went today. I wanted to call back, yet after seeing how things were resolved on a couple other occasions, both in the office and over the phone l, I chose not to cause myself more unnecessary aggravation. Working in an office for many years and working with many professionals, I am shocked to see someone so rude working at the front desk and so non-professional, Micah was very rude when my husband called to change appointments and when she asked why, my husband simply said we were going try somewhere else, she changed her attitude to being sarcastic and said “thanks have a good one and HUNG UP on him! The real reason we are changing offices is because of her and her behavior, we absolutely Love our Hygienists. We just want to be treated with respect and not be ignored again while conversations amongst co-workers are being finished instead of taking care of patients. Unfortunately, this seems to be the norm these days and I am not sure why offices, employees or co-workers are tolerating this behavior.

Great expressions canton has some nice people but i did have Experience with a Hygenist it was very unprofessional to hurt me w pressure because my tooth was sensitive and say they cant work on me and i said u have bad attitude and then to tell me they had a bad day should probably keep that info to yourself if you are on your job and hurt someone you should apologize not make them feel uncomfortable.

Have been going there for invisalign for the passed 8 months, every appointment is on time with very minimal waiting. Results have been good so far!

I have no issues with my service or dentist. I have been a patient of Dr. Bais for 2yrs now and I like my service I receive. I dont like going to the dentist never have every since a child and not many dentists as well, I have just had some awful experiences. I can actually be very calm and comfortable and Dr. Bais is very very nice and thorough. I schedule my appointments with him I dont go to other dentists to get traumatized. The staff is always nice I only personally noticed a little attitude from a few employees at this location. Their always nice sweet accommodating, they let you know what you need and how much its gonna cost before service so you always have a chance to discuss more options or not receive until another time. They will make sure you get the best price with your insurance and they even have a plan to help cover costs if you dont have insurance and financing with care credit as well. I had also put off some work during the height of the pandemic to stay safe and am very cautious every where I go and this office is definitely going above and beyond to keep patients safe. I had my temp checked upon entry also my heart rate oxygen level and blood pressure were also checked to ensure I was healthy for service. The staff are adhering to Covid-19 guidelines and extra sanitation processes are in place, which was a major concern for me. I have virtually pain free service with a little pain afterwards, having extensive work done. I would definitely recommend Dr. Bais at this location.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Although the hygienist was good, Dr. Baiz is the worst Dr I have encountered at great expressions. His work is sub-par and when confronted about his mistakes he tries to pretend it was something else that went wrong and not his fault. Not to mention his condescending tone and mannerisms. Save yourself the time and go to the great expressions on Lilley rd.

Nice facility and doctors, but absolutely hate to deal with the company, Great Expression, itself. The out of pocket cost are ridiculous. I dealt with other places, and nobody is close to the out of pocket I get hit from this company.

John the receptionist was very helpful and I got along with the young dentist just fine, but what I was upset about was before taking out my 50 year old mercury amalgam filling I asked the dentist if he would be using a dam to protect me from any mercury particles going down my throat and he said, “No need for one”. I said are you kidding? Better safe than sorry and I feel that particular Great Expressions should have had one available for patients that are health conscious. The Canton Lilly Road Great Expressions office uses them!

Service has been really good. Kelly, the office manager, was able to help me in one visit to help me resolve an ongoing issue that i have been dealing with for a long time. Dr. Bhatti is very thorough, and explains everything. I was thinking of going elsewhere, but after this visit I have decided to stay. This visit renewed my commitment to coming here.

Ive been going to Great Expressions for many years.There have been some changes, my favorite hygienist and dentist are no longer there, but I can honestly say Ignacio and Jessica made me feel like nothing had changed. They, the office manager, and dentist were very personable. I have new favorites, and would recommend this location.

Been going to this dentist for several years and would never consider going anywhere else. This is especially due to Jessica the dental hygienist. She is fantastic at her job, as well as personable and friendly. Each time I see her she remembers everything we talked about the last time I was there, as if it was yesterday. I had a very pleasant experience today at this office. Not only were all of the employees very kind and friendly but I felt like all of my questions and concerns were addressed. Julie who worked on cleaning my teeth was very personable and I enjoyed my conversation with her as well as how gentle she was with my teeth. I have been very curious about getting my teeth whitened and Dr. Sangadala and Ignacio both took time to explain the process in detail. Upon leaving the office I spoke with Trina and to no surprise she was also friendly and helpful. Overall I had a great experience and would highly recommend this office.

When I went to the dentist on a Saturday as an urgent patient everything was fine I explained to the dentist my terrible experiences I had with a past dental procedures. So, I set the appointment I got a temporary cap put on on Tuesday of last week. On this past Saturday it came off it was cracked and needless to say my jaw was and still is hurting. I called the emergency line on Saturday and I forgot the dentist name I asked the young lady if she could look me up by my name and date of birth she told me no because I called an international number. So I found the dentists name called back gave her the information she needed. The young lady told me that she called the dentist and she did not answer and that they call them every 10 minutes for an hour. Well here it is Monday and I have not received a call from the dentist. What kind of service is that!!!! Now mind you she has received payment for services rendered from myself and my insurance carrier. I NEVER had an issue with this dental office. I HAVE A LOW TOLERANCE LEVEL for things of this nature. In the past I would have been understanding. BUT NOT ANYMORE!!!! I am IMPORTANT and I DESERVE PROPER CARE!!! Wonders never cease to amaze me!!! All I can say is WOW!!!!

The entire staff at the Canton (Michigan) Great Expressions Dental Office is wonderful! I especiall like Jessica, the hygienist. I am probably one of the few people who actually love going to get my teeth cleaned and it’s because of Jessica! She is amazing at what she does and has an outstanding personality.

Been going here about 2-3 years and cant say enough about how great it is. Staff is always so welcoming and friendly, wonderful at explaining everything they are going to do before they do it and make sure you are as comfortable as they can make you. They have great hours and are wonderful at accommodating for emergency events. Id highly recommend this place to anybody searching.

I had an amazing experience at great expressions. My hygienist named Trisha was very knowledgeable and gentle with my teeth. Even though I hate getting x-rays done she made it quick and easy. I will definitely be coming back in the future.

My hygienist was very professional and knowledgeable about cleaning teeth. When cleaning my teeth she was very gentle. Dr. Akasheh was very friendly and did an amazing job on my tooth filling. Before my tooth was getting food caught in it. She fixed it without questioning me. I would recommend this office to anyone.

Went to for cleaning for my kids, claimed I had unpaid balance from 2015. Which was never brought to my attention til today... mind you been going for cleaning for last 2 years. Went only for a cleaning for my kids so didn’t get a chance to grab my wallet! Told her send the bill in the mail will pay it as I did not know about it she refused to have my kids get there cleaning done.... pretty sad never said I wasn’t going to pay it, just didn’t have money on me as I picked up kids from school activities and rushed there. Too bad never going there again they just lost 4 patients... for inconveniencing me and not taking patients who have been coming for 2 years! Plus they change dentist every few months! We’ve had 3 different dentist every time we’ve been! Time for a new dentist

Great expressions locations are good for people with fair to good teeth.. If you have a very bad condition for your mouth I would look elsewhere... I’ve been dealing with this this company for the last 10yrs and each location has its own unique level of quality of service.... from not following up after a root canal procedure on a patient, to equipment used for services, to seeing the same doctor in the same year..It seems that Great expressions rotate their denist every 12-15 months and you never see the same person for care..The staff and assistants are good but are limited to only what is told to them by the residing doctor per patient .. Some locations equipment are up to date, some are not..Locations are clean and dust free...When ever I made a complaint to them about any issue, I only get “I’m sorry” vs trying to get to the root cause of a complaint and fixing the concern so it never happens again to anyone else which makes me feel like I’m being handled and not taken seriously...I wish them the best on their efforts but sometimes listening to the patient would be nice whenever we have a concern..

The hygienist was very gentle with my teeth and the supporting staff provided information that I needed for Invisalign services. After coming here for years because I didnt want to go through the hassle of changing my dentist, I am glad I changed to Canton Family Smile right next door. Its been the best dental decision of my life.After going to Canton Family Smile, I learned from the Dental Hygienest there a way better detailed description of what it is that I need to do to help resolve my problem and what specifically is the issue.My teeth have been cleaned way better here than they ever were at Great Expressions in Canton from any of the Hygienists Ive seen.Great Expressions pays there Hygienists per patient. This turns you into a $$$$ figure for them. The faster they get to the next patient, the more money they make.On top of this, everytime I pay for my service that insurance doesnt cover, and I walk out that door with a signature on how much Im responsible for paying and do so right there, I always get another bill from these crooks for more money.This has never happened to be ever since I switched to Canton Family Smile. Why is that? Because Canton Family Smile doesnt rob you of your money and overcharge for rendered services. They used my issue to exploit me for more money instead of actually working to properly fix my issue and clean properly to begin with.Everyone do yourself a favor and make the change!

This morning, I visited the location at: 5958 Canton Center Rd, Canton MI 48187. The reason why I chose this place is because I wanted to have an appointment on Saturday.My advice is to avoid this place!!!! The dental assistant acted like I had the smallest mouth she had ever seen when she was taking the x-rays. A few of the bottom x-rays had to be done three times. She really jammed those films in and it was uncomfortable. Afterwards, the dental hygienist came in to measure my gums. She asked if I ever had a deep cleaning to which I replied no. I had a really bad feeling at this point. Anyhow, she stated that my measurements were mostly twos, threes, and just a few fours. Well, the dentist came in awhile later and he had a different opinion about the measurements. He tried to say I had SEVERAL fours, fives, and sixes!!They came up with a treatment plan and stated the first of two deep cleanings would be done today. I inquired about a regular cleaning and I was told that could not be done until there was improvement with the measurements. Now, I am very meticulous about my teeth. I brush twice a day and floss in the evening. Theres no way my mouth could be in that bad shape. I explained that to the dentist and that everything was fine two years ago at my previous dentist. Anyway, I stated that I didnt sign up for a deep cleaning and that I wanted a second opinion. He stated that he is the only dentist there, but that I could go to one of their other locations.As I was leaving, the front desk clerk asked if I would like to schedule the next appointment. I didnt want to be mean and I stated how I would have to get back to them. I was then handed the estimate with the treatment plan. The next two appointments would be the deep cleanings and the third would be to have the cavity filled. My out of pocket estimate is $454!!! Needless to say, I will not call them back nor will I ever go to a Great Expressions ever again!!
