Where Do I begin! The trauma of having to put a loved one in assisted living It’s so hard to go through. Are we making the right decisions? Is this the best fit for our loved one? From the very beginning, just walking through the door and talking with some of the staff you get the feeling of truly being led by love! They are so caring and so genuinely interested in each and every person in their care! They try to engage everyone in activities that utilize body and mind and spirit. It is beautiful to see! While looking at several other assisted-living places Rackcleiff is the one that kept pulling at our heartstrings and saying this is the one.

Rackleff Place had been an excellent home for my mom with caring staff that goes above and beyond. The staff led by Alex has been 100% effective in creating a safe environment during the entire Covid crisis. The food is excellent and there are daily activities offered. The smaller community size allows for kind and respectful care.

My mother is a resident here and I cannot speak highly enough of this establishment. You are more than a room number here. You become part of the family. The entire staff gets to know residents and their families by name. Lovely place to be. ❤️

Our father/father-in-law has been living at Rackleff Place for about 18 months. He really enjoys the attentive and friendly staff and director. The facility has approximately 25 residents which allows a lot of one-on-one time and prompt attention to any matters.Our father/father-in-law enjoys the meals and looks forward to each one.Especially important, is the success Rackleff Place has had in keeping the residents safe from COVID-19.We sincerely appreciate Alex and his staff and the convenience of Rackleff Place’s home-like environment right here in Canby.

A great little Assisted Living community! I have been in the industry for over 25 years and it is not easy to find a community as loving and charming as this one. The main goal for the Administrator is to provide a warm, caring and safe environment for the residents and that is exactly what he has done. If you are looking for a safe community where your loved one has a personal care plan to meet his or her individual needs then this is a place to consider. They recently passed their State Survey (inspection) that happens every two years and that speaks wonders about the care that is provided for residents and the training that is required for staff. Stop in and say hello, you will be welcomed with a warm smile and someone will always be available to answer any of your questions.

Such a lovely little community! You might say Im biased because my husband is the director, and you wouldnt be wrong. He is unfailingly kind, whip smart, and one of the hardest working individuals Ive ever known. When he resigned from his former position as a memory care director, his goal was to find a community where he could put his mission into practice; to find a community in which he could lead with a heart of service and love, and to foster excellence by supporting and encouraging those in his employ to grow both professionally and personally. Ive had the privilege of meeting many members of the Rackleff team and they are truly caring and compassionate people. They keep to the highest standards of care and make no compromises when it comes to resident care and health. There is joy in the air at Rackleff Place! Its truly a community that leads with love!

Amazing place! I played music for the residents a few months ago and had a blast! The staff is loving and attentive and treats the folks who live there like the royalty they are! I would highly recommend!

First day, walked in and was greeted with such kindness. I knew it was home. The building is small and the staff caregivers and med techs as a whole are involved in each of their lives in such a way you would think these care givers are directly related to these residents but they are not. The staff here make it a point to treat everyone with the same kindness and respect as everyone else. This is what assisted living should look like. I am excited to be on this team and lead it.

Highly recommend! This place is awesome! The staff is incredible, and the loving support at this facility is beyond compare. The empathy and support you and your family will receive here are exactly what you want for your loved one. You can depend on accommodation, communication, and support 100%.

What a heart ache time when I had to find an assisted living facility for my mom. The first time we toured Rackleff Place, we knew this was home. From the apartments to activities, fabulous staff to the meals, I was not going to settle where my mom was going to live. Rackleff Place leads with love and respect for their residence. I am a 72 year old who recently toured the Rackliffe House in Canby. This is an absolutely darling senior living home for 26 blessed residents. The Manager is out of this world kind to every single person, greeting each on my tour with genuine caring and fondness. There is a beautiful courtyard and extras to satisfy and needs. I immediately went home and told my daughter that would be my first choice of senior living facilities!!! So impressive!!!!!

Charming lovely facility with lots amenities. Great Care Staff and always feel welcomed. Will have an open house in January by the Canby Chamber of Commerce. The residents are very sweet and seem happy to have visitors. The place smells of apples and cinnamon with baked bread backing in the kitchen by the cook Miriam. Met with the management team. All very professional and most of all had materials about assisted living and what Rackleff has to offer. Thank you for the tour. The meal was great. I loved the open courtyard with the trees and blooming flowers.

Ive been there for several community events and it seems like an extremely warm, clean and inviting place. Plus, the manager Alex is awesome!

Alex cant manage anything. No wonder he was fired from his last director position. Maybe he should get a job at McDonalds so he doesnt have to manage people. Food is awful and they dont follow nutrition guidelines. The cook doesnt speak enough English to even know what the residents need. Health inspector need to come see all the ants on the dirty surfaces. I am surprised doesnt shut this place down since it is so old and falling apart.

This place needs a new management team.
