Visited Grondins hair salon today. Had a awesome time. I felt very safe with the way they handled disinfecting the equipment between clients. The atmosphere was safe and enjoyable and we laughed a lot. The manager Lynda is hysterical. Come see her she is fun. Liz the hairstylist which treated my hair did a fabulous job I am now a permanent client.

They are the best ❤ when no one else had time to wax my neck they have squeezed me in every time thanks for the great service .

I have had to cancel a few appointments and the staff has always been very gracious.

Linda is amazing! I am pretty fussy about who cuts my hair, these ladies get it right every time. Love em!

Was there, nobody there waiting. Wednesday June 17th 2021 at 5:40 PM asked for a haircut, lady told me that she was closing up. Needed a quick 5-10 minute trim. Turned me away!

Did not feel safe. I was the only person in the salon wearing a mask. Its like they had no concern over our safety. After 14 years i have changed salons. Every one had a mask. The chairs were wiped down after each client and a new cape was used for each client. I finally felt someone cared about my safety

Linda was great with my 3 year old! She was so patient and worked with him when he wouldnt sit still. I will be taking my kids here from now on.

Worse experience. She act like she is doing things free for me. On Christian music but act like unhuman! So prejudice!

My wife went in to grondins to get her hair cut and colored. She showed the stylist a picture of the hair style she wanted, talked to her about it for a while and proceeded to get her hair cut. After a little bit, she had the feeling the stylist was taking too much off so showed her the picture again and reiterated what she wanted. The stylist reassured her thats what was going to happen. After a couple more times of reviewing the picture and voicing her concern to the stylist, another stylist came over and moved my wife to a new chair but her hair was already way too short. Then the new stylist proceeded to color her hair. Again my wife explained in detail what she wanted to the stylist. After the coloring was done she found it was nothing like how she described to the stylist. She then explained that she wanted a shampoo with no sulfates in it, so they sold her one that had sulfates in it. I guess after the first two debacles she should have checked but she was mortified by her cut and color and just wanted out of there. They charged her 150 dollars and she tipped both stylists. A couple days later I encouraged her to contact grondins and ask for some type of recompense. They told her to call back on a specific day and ask for the manager. She called back and she wasnt available. She was directed to call corporate. She did so and corporate was so much less helpful. They said they would give her her money back if the stylists couldnt fix the mistake they already made and would fire the stylist who botched her hair cut. My wife didnt want to go back and give them another opportunity to screw up her hair further, and didnt want the stylist to loose her job. So now she is at a different stylist getting her hair fixed as best as you can fix a haircut that is too short. So were into a grondins hair cut for 300 dollars. I doubt I would take a long haired dog to get shaved there. Avoid this business at all cost. If something goes wrong, you have no one to help you. I wanted to end this review with corporate was helpful but they werent. They were insulting, condescending, threatening (toward the stylists job) and rude. Thanks grondins, for making my wife self conscious and then taking no steps to try to help resolve it.In response to the owners response, you have enough angry husbands to have a policy in place for how you handle them? Wow. Not sure if its because of pricing and theyre not comfortable with it or if their wives are as unhappy as mine was but yeah after watching my wife come home in tears, you bet Im going to get obscene. Dont worry, Im bald and my wife will never go back there and well be happy to share our experience with your business with everyone we know.

Nice clean place. Great hair cut and beard trim. I definitely will return! I will probably tell a couple friends to come here as well.

My husband and I have been coming here for years. I love the way Lynda cuts my hair. She does a great job every time. Today Ron had Skyler a new girl cut his hair. It was her first day she did a great job! Lynda and her girls do a great job on our hair and at very affordable prices.

The stylist was fun to chat with. Very good with myv11 yr old son. He was happy. I was given a cut she catered to my desires.

Lynda is simply amazing! I have never left a hair salon happy UNTIL TODAY!! The customer service here is 5 star all the way from the phone service to greeting you at the door to the second you leave. I have never been to the same hair salon twice but now I will definitely be making the 30 minute drive to Grondins for my hair and my brows !!!! This place is an awesome friendly family salon !

Great place to go for a hair cut! My wife has gone here for years and always boasts about the service she receives as well with how her hair cut turned out. We took my daughter here for her first hair cut a few months ago and the hairdressers work so well with children! Especially an extremely shy one who wont speak a word to them! Though it was a few years ago now, my son went here for his first hair cut when he was a toddler and again great results! (Even with my boy screaming and crying the whole way through!). This place will always have business from my family!

This is my favorite place to get my hair cut! I dont go as often as I should, but Im always happy with my hair. Prices are great, the stylists are awesome, and while they are extremely knowledgeable about the products they carry, they dont badger you aggressively to add on. They run some great specials, too. The shop is always immaculately clean and the staff is professional but friendly. Last time I was in, Linda (lovely lady) was juggling several end of the day clients by herself. This included a mom and her three tween to teen kids. No kid wants to hang out at a salon while their mom and siblings get haircuts. Linda kept them entertained! She had jokes and riddles. She even put out several quarters and gave them a sort of puzzle to work on. Didnt skip a beat, either! I didnt think shed have time to get to all of us and almost left as to not keep her long over. Nope! I was out the door and she was on to her last haircut before close. Really exceptional service no matter who you get. Id recommend them to anyone happily. Id give Grondins ten stars if I could!

Me and a friend had our girls day completed by the wonderful staff. They offer great prices and have a very friendly staff. My color and cut are just perfect and husband approved!

LOVE Lake Orion Grondin’s!! Love Shanna and the girls!! Shanna is so skilled at coloring...she’s the only stylist I’ll go to...and overall, the other stylists have been so patient and caring whenever I’ve taken my autistic grandson in for a cut. Grondin’s just feels like family!!

This is the only salon that I go to and get my hair and eye brows waxed. Theyre reasonably priced, great customer service, and the products are amazing. I have my sister, my mother and mother in law hooked in coming to this salon all the time. All the cosmetologists are super great and know what their doing in order to make the customer feel great and get their best results.

Had a girl cut my hair that has only been there for 2 weeks and i had to have her fix it 3 times after she said it was done and when I showed her another spot that was uneven she said its short enough. I am in no way picky about my hair but that experience was ridiculous. I will not be back and I recommend to whomever reads this to choose elsewhere to get your haircut.

Jade did a fantastic job on my hair. She was honest about what was realistic for my hair going from a deep burgundy to brown with blonde highlights. I will be returning to see her. I great place for good times and they are very conciencious about making sure you are comfortable throughout your visit.

I have been going to this Grondins here in Cadillac for about over a year now and I have to say its by far my favorite hair salon anywhere. Although I may only get a simply hair cut the staff are always talkative and friendly. Before I moved up here I went to Grondins down in Saginaw and I could say all the same positive things I said for both places. They will always have my business.

Got my eyebrows done there, the staff was being rude and inconsiderate talking about customers in an inappropriate/inconsiderate manner and talking poorly about an old employee and her children. That employee was one of their best employees yet if they ask me. Just very unprofessional.
