They did a great job. I love my hair. They are so nice and friendly. A lot of options for hair. It went quick too. And the prices are super good. Great atmosphere definitely coming back.

I have been to over 10 braiding shops in Minnesota and I have to say this is the best one by far. Martha and her sister Elizabeth is the best at what they do. Im sharing my experience because it was the best I ever had. Martha and her sister engaged in conversation with me the whole time I was there. If you ever been to a braiding shop you know the braider is either talking to the other braiders or not talking at all, Martha even went and got food for us and refuse to take my money for the food. Now lets get to the braids, I LOVE LOVE LOVE MY MICRO BRAIDS they are braided exactly the way I wanted them and I got the length I wanted and did I mention I LOVE my micro braidsMartha you are very professional and you made me feel like I was sitting at home with one of my home girls getting my hair braided. I contacted the hair dresser about scheduling an appointment. I showed her the picture and she said she can perform it. I arrived there and she said my hair isn’t long enough to do feed in conrows, she then suggested I get crotchets. To my surprise crotchet braids require conrows braided at the bottom which she did. I showed her other styles which she rejected because they were time consuming. I would not recommend this business to anyone . I only stayed because I had a shortage of time and my deposit was non refundable.

This is the only place I will get my hair braided at. Marsha does not braid too tight so I dont worry about my hair being pulled out.

I would actually give 4.5 stars. The woman that worked on my daughters hair was great and very professional. She actually got my daughter in even though we were 45 minutes late for our appointment. She was extremely patient with my young daughter and it was her first time getting her hair braided at a salon. She quoted the style I wanted with added hair. I said I did not want hair added and the quote was decreased by $10. After more discussion with the stylist, I decided to add hair. The stylist wasnt pushy about it, I just thought it made the best sense since it would maintain the hair style longer. In the end, she charged me the quote without the hair. I appreciated her level of integrity but I still paid her the amount that included the hair. I would definitely go back.

I brought my nephew in to get his hair braided. Staffs were all kind and place was nice. I highly recommend and will return. Martha did an amazing job braiding my nephews hair and answering all the questions we had. Thank you so much again!!

Best place yet to have extensions/braids done. Went out of their way to fit my daughter in at the last minute for the following day. They were gentle, kind and worked at a pace to make her comfortable because she is young. Nice, clean and quiet relaxing shop easy location to find and the best prices around for a beautifully done job. I will definitely bring my daughter back again and again. Highly recommended!!

I’ve been coming here for 3.5 years now and I trust Martha wholeheartedly. She is very professional and she has helpful tips on how to take care of your hair in any state that it’s in. She’s very talented and she specializes in so many different things. The whole experience is great, from booking to braiding. Ever since I’ve come here, my hair has grown and I have learned so much! After having such a horrible experience at a different braiding shop Bonitas Braiding I came to this shop to get my daughters hair done. The stylist was nice and got my daughter in. We did not have to wait she was not on her phone and my daughters hair turned out beautifully. It was a little bit of a drive to get there but they know how to braid and also gave me great tips on how to keep her natural hair growing thick and strong.The shop is nice and neat!

The following is an honest review - no one asked me to write it. This hair braiding salon is one of the best salons Ive ever been to. They did not cut corners when braiding my hair. They braided small, even braids throughout. They took their time and were careful with my hair and scalp health. Martha and her crew did not pull my hair- they were extremely careful with this and explained why - because of the damage it does to ones hair follicles. I dont think Ive ever encountered a hair stylist who understood hair braiding in such detail. Martha is most-likely a genius when it comes to hair care. It shows in her work, and that of those she trains. I love my hair style. They did an excellent job in a short amount of time. In fact, my mom used to braid my hair with extensions when I was younger, giving me a full-looking braids done with love and care. This style is comparable to the excellent work my mother did. I didn’t like the braiding hair they use on my head. I’ve been itching like crazy because they use the most cheapest weave I’ve ever I countered. It ain’t worth the price they charged me. I’m sticking to the cities. Forget the suburbs braiding shops

I never do reviews but this shop deserves it. Best shop Ive ever been to. Not only were they on time, the shop was clean, quiet environment, beverages were offered, no kids running around. I got box braids and was finished in under 6 hours. Liz and Martha worked on my head together with rarely any breaks. My braids came out so neat and Im SUPER picky about my hair. The way they braid is amazing, my head didnt even hurt after. They dont braid heavy handed. If you are looking for a new shop plz go here I promise you wont be disappointed.

My experience was excellent which I received attentive service in getting the desired braids that I wanted. We made an appointment to have our daughter’s hair braided before she was leaving for a special weekend away. We arranged our day around the appointment (we have 6 children, so this was no small task). I washed, conditioned, moisturized and combed out my daughter’s hair in preparation for her appointment. When my husband arrived with my daughter, they refused to braid her hair saying her hair was not “clean enough.” Ridiculous. We have never ever before received criticism for the condition of our daughter’s hair as we are careful to care for it well. With such short notice, we were not able to find her an appointment elsewhere and her hair will be left undone on her special weekend. Disappointed to say the least. We will never return to this shop again and will not recommend it to friends.

I loved my hair but my mom .....So they started at 720 and were done by 920. So when arrived (my mom and I) they helped right away, and this time I told them to be super careful with the tightness. The older woman who did my hair and hands of a cloud and the skills to match. She was done with my crochet twists in a hour and half . She was gently and cared about me being comfortable. Unfortunately my mom got a lady who had hulk hands and showed no mercy. At one point I look up an I can see her pain so I asked we can switch stylists. The lady doing my hair said yes, but the other one said no as my hair looked too thick... riiight besides the tightness my mom like the style a lot.

I went to this location for the first time today....I am very pleased with my hair....She didnt cut any corners and answered any questions I had with no attitude....I was going to another location in Burnsville which I dont care to say which location...This is definitely going to be my new location...please continue to be professional and you will get tons of recommendations from me. I was extremely impressed by the work at this salon. First off I called very last minute and was able to get an appointment. I called at 9 a.m. and was given a 10 a.m. appointment for the same day. The stylist was on time and very proffesional. She started my box braids and before I knew it she had two other stylists to assist as well. The braids were all uniform in size and they worked together quickly and finished my hair in under 4 hours for a full head of small box braids. This was greatly appreciated because I was short on time. These ladies were amazing and really know what they are doing. When they were done my braids werent too tight and looked beautiful. Thank you ladies! I definitely recommend this salon!

My experience with these ladies was great. Im new to MN and have been struggling to find good hair care and have been scared of working with new braiders but I am so glad I made the leap.Martha worked with me throughout the week to accommodate my schedule and my far travel from Alexandria. She was super patient throughout the process as I am also 5 months pregnant and had to make frequent trips to the bathroom. I had micros installed with human hair and theyre exactly what I expected and more. Martha was determined to have me in and out as soon as possible so her and her sister both worked on me making the whole process easy and comfortable. It was about 7 hrs total. What stood out the most was how light their hands felt and for the first time in 9 years of having micros put in (usually once or twice every year), I didnt experience any level of soreness or tenderness immediately afterwards or at all! 😄The environment was also very clean and organized. Be sure to confirm address when booking ☺ Will certainly be back!

The first time I came here, it was a good experience and i really loved how my hair looked. The second time, the shop felt unprofessional. The women doing my hair was 20 minuets late and I had to wait outside.

LEA Howze, This shop does a great job at what their doing and theres no one who has ever complained. My youngest sister has been a customer for 10 years she always get Senegalese twist, medium braid and cornrows and she never had any problems with Martha. I think you have mistaken the wrong company.

My daughter got siglest twist. The hair was only twisted half way, and by the second day some of the twist had started to unravel. I called the shop and wanted my money back. I was told they could take it down and only half of my money would be returned.

I called to see if they the lady that answer could help me with what I wanted she said ya I was thinking they would have a sink n stuff there too but she didnt but was hella helpful to direct me to a place that could help me so even though I didnt get service here still 4*

Was really late to my appointment the owner ended up leaving but I was mad because I was late she did a good job on my hair with my bad edges am on week 3 not only she’s cool as hell and keep up a conversation and can tell you about hair and what she doing to your hair
