I arrived on time for my 11:00 appointment for a routine eye exam and didn’t get done until well after noon. I spent at least 45 minutes waiting in the reception area. The whole process seemed disorganized.

Dr. Randi Frankl was a complete professional during all the eye procedures. She put me at ease throughout the entire exam. Recommend.

Medical staff is professional and capable. Front desk staff and billing staff are not. I told them that I wanted a full itemized bill at the point of my appointment as I would be paying through an FSA. Appointment was in October. In February, I get a bill for an additional $80 in the mail, long after my FSA account for 2020 had closed. I was told that a bill for the $80 had been mailed in October. I asked for a photocopy of that bill. I was sent a bill that had no date on it. Probably because that October bill was a lie. Then my $80 was sent to collections. Terrible customer service, terrible billing service, and honestly you can find plenty of capable optometrists in MA who have their backend business in much better shape than this establishment. If you have an FSA/HSA, dont go here. They dont know what they are doing. Shameful and embarrassing.Edit: Owner was kind enough to reply. They talk about sending a bill to my insurance, which took weeks to get a rejection from. Note that I never said bill my insurance, in person or even in the above review. What I said, and was clear about, was the exact opposite. Therein lies the core problem. They dont know how to use FSA/HSAs, they dont listen, and they dont read. Other businesses *can* do those things, and this place does not offer anything which makes the headache of their unprofessional conduct worth it.

I suddenly decided that I needed an eye exam (it had been too long since my last), and upon finding that BOA had openings same-day, I booked one. I went to their office on my one-hour lunch break, expecting to go over my allotted time, but was pleasantly surprised to be in and out in under 30 minutes. The receptionists were attentive and kind, the assistant to the optometrist who performed my pre-evaluation was bubbly and friendly, and both the pre-evaluation and the examination with the optometrist were super fast and efficient. I walked out with eyeglass prescription in hand in just about 25 minutes. Overall, a very pleasant and rapid experience. Thank you BOA!

The eye doctor was good, but the front desk girls were extremely rude, unprofessional with no field knowledge at all: Taylor and I think Mary...Do not recommend this place, they dont know what they were doing. No business should have such bad customer service!!!

The staff I interacted with here were very friendly. The doctor did a great job explaining what he was doing/what caused my eyesight to get worse.Oh, and the online appointment making was super fast and easy, and I had pretty much no wait at all for my 11 AM appointment.I will say that the review responses here by the owner seemed pretty unprofessional and almost made me pick a different eye doctor...

In January of last year (2016), I noticed I was having to squint much more in order to read signs/books more clearly. I finally had insurance that included vision benefits, so I figured I would make an appointment. At the time, I worked at the Burlington Mall, so this location was super convenient for me. I made an appointment, the Optometrist explained what was causing the need to squint (Astigmatism), and gave me my prescription. Went right next door to LensCrafters, picked out my frames, then went to get lunch at work while waiting for the glasses to be ready. Every staff member there that day was extremely pleasant, and answered every question I had. Would definitely recommend, and Im making another appointment for my yearly exam soon.

This happened in OCT of 2016. I have been going to Natick eye for years and this year I had to take my son to get his first eye exam. Made the apt went there felt a tad pressured to get the retinal screening but I did even after I originally said no and was asked again. So after my apt was over I went to check out and told them my ins was BCBS they insisted they have to take the eyemed that was listed. I explained (confused because this is how I was told by my carrier to do it) that eyemed only covers my hardware not exam BC covers exams. They insisted no I was wrong (the more I fought the worse attitude I received) ran it and over charged me. I called my carrier and printed out my coverage brought it back the next day and said you overcharged me this is how it should have been done. Not one of them seem thrilled they were all wrong and told me they will rerun it and hand it to the manager in the morning. So I called back the next day got everything squared away only to get a call back a few minutes later saying they screwed up refunding me too much, expect a bill! Now the best part so I thought this was over 2 weeks later, my ex-husband (we DO NOT live together) got a notice of services to his house with MY insurance listed. That should have been sent to my house considering it was my insurance and they have my address listed, as the address for him and myself with a check for a person I have never ever heard of!!!! How do you mess up continually over and over again that bad! I will not be returning and neither will any of my family after this ordeal. So a few weeks after I wrote this review on facebook another fun thing happened. They realized they over charged me even more so the sent me a check for $9 made out to carol provencher. Now who that is I do NOT know so I called of course they had to wait until monday, monday came ok sorry we will reissue that to cody. No you will reissue it to me I am his mother he is 14 I paid. Well the insurance is in his name so its refunded to him. Whatever after fighting i said fine they reissued the second check AGIAN to carol provencher added side not with it on the bottom stating for cody called again so sorry we dont know why this happened well third check and it was in MY name. So all the Money I was overcharged is now officially back to me that should never have been charged to me to begin with and again NEVER going back. The staff really needs to listen to the customer and drop the attitudes when they are told they are wrong.

This practice is deceitful. They charged a young unsuspecting man, my son, for an appointment that should have been covered under insurance. They also refused to give him new contacts under his insurance policy. Please do not use this practice, in my 55 years of wearing glasses and contact lenses I have never ever seen this type of behavior, shame on them.
