Weve been very happy with this Landmark location. I appreciate the consistency of the staff which fosters trust in ones banking. In a period of declining interest rates, I very much appreciate their higher rates for one of their checking programs and their higher rate certificates of deposit.

Never use for refi. Their rates may be cheaper but everything else is a complete headache. Took over 3 months to close. Part way through I find out that they do not escrow homeowners insurance and was told thats how everybody does it now. After talking to different title companies they are one of the few that wont escrow homeowners insurance. Nothing but lies just to get your business. Then a few months after closing I get a letter stating I dont have homeowners insurance that it has expired even though they already have my declaration page stating that it does not expire for another 8 months. I am not a person that spends all day the computer using email during the entire process I would ask our agent to call and they would do nothing but email. Customer service is non-existent on a personal basis. Trying to call your branch and your local town is impossible you have to go through their corporate office and then still do not get anybody.

I have been with this credit union for over 40 years. I have always had excellent service. I am very tired of seeing negative reviews regarding the branch or lobby being temporarily closed. Do the complainers not realize that we’re in a world wide pandemic! Do you not think that the staff are putting themselves at risk with this virus and have possibly contracted it with the various customers that are dealt with every day. Everyone needs to keep this in mind before you start complaining about being inconvenienced. THINK before you open your mouth with something you in good conscience should regret saying.

In general, I love banking with Landmark Credit Union. (I recently moved to Janesville and there are no branches in Janesville, but I still work in Milwaukee so it is usually convenient for me to still bank with Landmark) However, this morning I drove over an hour to the nearest branch to my home, the Burlington location, because it’s my day off but I needed to make a deposit today. Upon arriving, I found signs posted stating that this branch is temporarily closed. The google listing currently says this branch is open. It’s extremely frustrating that a professional establishment doesn’t keep up with important information on its google listing, such as whether or not it is actually open. I now have to waste a lot of extra time and gas driving up to Milwaukee to make my deposit.

Excellent customer service, got a second mortgage with them! 1.99% for 12 months is most excellent... I am very happy with these people they also do car loans at a great rate.. Highly recommend.

I have been a member since 2013 when I applied for a car loan. Paid the loan off early and had no problems. Eventually closed my main account at one of the big banks and moved everything here. Since then, its all good experiences. Ive recently applied for a mortgage and the loan officer, Amanda Seifert, was extremely motivated and helpful. She worked on the application with me after banking hours on multiple days and I was very impressed with the entire process.

I have been with Landmark for five plus years now and I have had nothing but great experiences with them. I have had two different car loans through them along with keeping my regular account here and have had nothing but positive interactions with them. The team at the Burlington location have been amazing! Their personnel are courteous and quick to help you with any questions you may have.

Why are you still closed to the public? Why do i have to wait in long lines to get a greatly diminished service at the window? This seems to be following your phone service that is full of wait for more options none of that help you to get a person who asks me multiple more question all to provide a bare minimum answer. So i guess the question is why should i continue after 25 years of banking with you to stay?

Had a car loan through them. Called to get the payoff amount, paid in full the same day. Now, two years later, sent a bill for an unpaid balance, interest, and charges. Called customer service and they said there was nothing they can do. AVOID THIS BUSINESS!!

They kicked me when I was down. Not that other banks wouldn’t do the same thing but... (I’llNever forget that !!!!) This is NOT your average joe working class credit union...Customer service lol right......Even just for convenience go ANYWHERE else!!!!

Educators credit union has been far better to deal with when it comes to car loans. Nothing but issues with landmark. Just look into the penalties when comes to insurance. Educators will cover the month with no problems and easy to work with. Landmark will penalize you for a year (yes they add 12 months onto your monthly payment, friend lost his job and parked truck for 2 months until got insurance again and that 2 months just cost him a $2129 penalty which is adding that to his payments forcing him to have to sell due to payment now being over $200 more month) whether you couldnt make an insurance payment one month (due to injury, switching companies and didnt overlap) or just didnt have it. Multiple friends and family have switched to educators without a single issue. Also note one slip up and they make you show proof every 6 months. Horrible

This place is a very big fraud these people only finance me for $3,700 mind you Im 38 years old with a credit score of 775, this was one of the smallest purchases I ever made in my life through my credit I thought I was going to buy me a Kawasaki z125 Pro for $3,700 out the door I was like might as well Finance it because it will be cheaper than a phone bill every month, mind you its winter here now and I cannot ride the bike, I just purchased my motorcycle in January 2018 on the 2nd and didnt receive it until 8 day later on January 10th, on April 1st I got insurance on my motorcycle which was exactly 3 months later its been sitting in my showroom floor for the last 3 months I get a letter from them that they have put insurance on my bike and charge me 636 dollars for 12 months on top of the 3700, these people know how to manipulate their way because if they ever thought that I was going to mess up my credit score thats a 775 for $3,700 they must be out there rabbit mind so please please please do not Finance with these guys because they dont deserve good peoples money, they know they couldnt make money off the interest so they had no other better way but this way to make more money and I promise I will go to Every Landmark Credit Union I find and I will post this, I just figured it all out the only way that this company is able to make money is to do these type of things because what they charged me for the interest rate only comes out to $6.45 a month and what they charge me for insurance every month supposedly to cover the $3,700 if anything was to happen to the bike which theyre full of it was $53 so you do the math and figure it out, I promise you I will leave this review up for the whole world to see I hope the 159 dollars you charged me for insurance was worth the review, I posted this on Sunday April 8. 2018 at 7:53pm by Tommorow it will be 3 months and 6 days of me owing these people money and Tommorow they will have all there money 3583.03 I hope it was worth 179.64 to make off me mind you 159 went to insurance supposedly and I already made 3 payments of 100 dollars they only made 20.64 off interest what a garbage company be careful what you sign people I know spur of the moment get you all excited but at the end of the day were going to pay the consequences thank God I caught on quick to there games before it was to late, think about this take $53 x 48 months thats $2544 that I would have payed them extra unbelievable

If you could give negative stars I would. The harassed my wife on the phone. They actually called her stupid. The charge hidden fees they will lie to u they are no professional at all. They harassed me to a certain extent over the phone they hung up on me numerous times. Over a year off my vehicle was paid off they try and still send stuff stating we owe them money after our loan was paid off thru. A trade they are a perfect definition of money suckers and out to screw every person. Anyone putting a good rating on here probably havnt been with them long enough to screw them over yet. Oh itll happen at some point. Horrible communication and very very VERY DISRESPECTFUL PEOPLE........ seriously if the give u a loan wait for someone else or buy a bike until you can get a better place to loan u money. If I was around for when my wife got this loan Id have gave them the middle finger and told them to screw the next person over. Seriously there are a million other loan companies and this one is one of the lowest of the pile. But these types of places suck on the uneducated so do ur homework read reviews and if your reading my review I hope I helped at least 1 person the pain and bull my wife had to deal with

Surprised their new policy did not allow customer faxes. With multiple auto loans, checking, and savings accounts it doesnt seem like great customer service.
