I love going here its amazing to be able to go with my kids and nieces and nephews. We always have a blast. I LOVE the fact the last 10 minutes of every hour all kids under 18 are required to get our which gives the adults a moment to swim and just relax in the water in peace. The indoor pool has a small deep area of 5 ft 9 in. Also has a slide which is mostly always open as well as a little lazy river with a whirl pool and a toddler zone. The out door pool reaches 13 ft. Deep has a diving board and an area to swim sectioned of for swimming which was amazing to see. The water in both pools is very very irritant to the eyes so goggles help but its definitely not enough to make us go some where else I love swimming and taking my fa.ily there. There is also a park basketball courts workout facility and have amazing monthly family plans. I definitely enjoy and recommend this place. Amazing staff as well and they are amazing at helping and accommodating special needs as they have with my family hands down to the staff.

Great workout machines! Lots of cleaning stations and/or disinfectant wipes for your machines. The ladies bathroom is always clean and tidy. Offers lots of different workout classes for adults.On the downside, they keep pool at a very low temp, so you cant thoroughly enjoy yourself. Im sure, when swimming laps, you might want it cooler than normal, but for leisurely swimming itd be nice if they turned on some heat. Way too cold! And theres no place to warm up, like a hot tub or sauna. For this reason we usually dont go swimming.

Love it. Its a great pool for the kids. I wish the hours for the pool on the website was accurate though. Got there at 7 and the pool was supposed to be open till 9 but closed at 7.

Very disappointed!! I will not return to this one because I thought i was planning a awesome day for my kids and family but to waste my time and money for the kid lifeguards to be on a powertrip every 3 to 5 minutes i understand keeping people safe but to be told that I was holding up the round pool to fix my kids float vest and goggles that is ridiculous and then only having 2 out of 10 of these kid lifeguards actually were not rude or disrespectful. But funny part of it all is it was like these lifeguards had a vendetta for parents trying to make sure their kids were having fun and werent going to drown...but I hate for the day that happens there because they got just kids working lifeguards but will not be surprised all because they are on some power trip!

Nice place to take the grandkids swimming and 2 pools one indoor and one outdoor. Everything was really clean and reasonable prices.

The facility is nice but there is a male employee that follows many of the female customers around and makes us uncomfortable. Weve reported him many times but staff doesnt do anything about him! It makes for an uncomfortable workout experience.

The brick always has something for everyone. We mainly go for the pool.

Is this place would have 5 stars except for one employee Ken. Ken is the older man with the vacuum that goes around and harasses young people at the gym in the early morning. When it comes to rules and regulations about mask, I support a business decision as long as it is implemented among all customer. For example, Ken told me that between sets I have to have my mask on (covering the nose too), but not when actively working out. Thats fine except there is a person across from me is on his phone with mask down to his chin. Nothing was said to him. When walking to different part of the gym, you must have your mask on buy two minutes later, I saw some older person walking without a mask. Hypocrisy at its finest. By the way, I know that a lot of people complain about Ken in the past and presently. Why dont you do us all a favor and fire him? Hire someone who isnt ageist and wont discriminate me based on my age.

My grandson loves swimming at the Brick. Family friendly and clean.

We can get your I think the next few months for a few years of your own time to get to it and they can help them in your home or your parents and your child will not get the best you can get your baby or your parents in the next few days and the other people who have been in a new job and you cant afford and the situation

We had our daughters 8th birthday party here and it was amazing. The staff was amazing and the kids loved the pool! Will definitely be recommending it to others!

Great location!!!! This facility is amazing on the inside and out. My son and I went to a mother/son dance here and it was phenomenal. I love their workout equipment but have never tried out their pool. Its huge and a great place to rent out for various events. Sufficient parking as well.

Been coming for years and never want to go anywhere else. The brick is the best place you can go if you want to workout or swim or play basketball. They have everything you need to get in shape. And the people who work there are super nice people too.

Place was nice and not too crowded but there is a sign telling people that masks are required but nobody enforces it. The workers used to wipe the equipment when people got done whether the people wiped it down when leaving or not. Now they mostly get together and watch TV or chat.

We just got a membership here not to long ago and we absolutely love it. Its always clean, and they have plenty of equipment to work out with. The kids zone is great because we can go as a family and the kids enjoy playing with the other kids as well.

I would give this a 5 star, but their indoor pool is seriously chilly. I like the set up and the people that work there are nice. Locker rooms are always clean and they keep up with their maintenance. I love the climbing tower in the lobby area!

Just moved to Burleson a few months ago. I have some back and knee issues so my mom suggested looking into the Y, when I searched I found the BRICK. After taking a tour we decided to get a three month membership. We have enjoyed it so far. They have a great military discount!

Have been coming here since I was 12 years old off and on, (am 21 now) but I am unable to achieve the perfect amount of yoking that I would like to achieve. The problem I have is the lack of ab machines/ workouts. How am I supposed to get these summer thots without abs?

This place has amazing amenities for a community rec center. The only down side was the limited pool hours for the kids free swims. The pool is Always closed on Monday and only opens after 1pm for play time. In the summer it would be nice to have a few hours to swim in the morning with kids. I would love more free weight and barbell equipment but overall it’s really great!

Like to start out that i have been here a long time at the brick, i have not done a review yet until now ,there is a mask rule i understand,but when you are told to wear a mask from an employee and he doesnt enforce it on all the people there and singles out only a few people this is wrong, cleaning is not done as efficiently as it has been done in the past, the people that are regulars are not coming any more either and im finding out why, there is less people then there use to be working out now, so if you have rules,enforce them to ever one not just some.

Christian West is right. The employee Ken is harassing people about mask during the persons set. I understand the rules. But when your in a middle of a set, you have to be able to breath or your going to pass out. This old dude has nothing better to do but bother people. Well I was thinking about a membership, but I think i will keep looking.

The indoor pool is awesome! Everyone enjoyed their self. A bit pricey though

This is really a great gym. My only serious problem is that people don’t wipe down their equipment after they use it! There should be more signs reinforcing this, staff should tell people. I also take spin class, the instructor should tell the class that they need to wipe down their bikes, no one does it?! People sweat a lot on those seats, handle bars etc.. I wipe down everything before and after use. I watch sweaty men and women walk away from a machines...it’s utterly disgusting! You must fix this problem

My son had his first game here two week ago. Honestly the place is so clean and well maintained. I appreciated how much parking there was. The building itself is pretty new and updated as well. Definetly will be coming back.

Awesome! I wish they had same hours 7 days a week. But guess the workers need some quality time with their loved ones.

Great place to take the kids and you dont have to be outside. However, it does get crowded at peak hours, some smaller kids are rude and have no manners and are not under parental guidance. But all and all we enjoyed it. We will be back again.

Came here when I was 10. Returned last week after 10 years. Still fun and a great place to hang out at for kids, teens and adults!

Loved our time here. With six kiddos a day pass is so affordable. We all had a great time.

My wife and I work out there at least 5 days a week. Staff is friendly, place is well laid out. Weve already decided to renew our membership next year.

Staff is very helpful if you have questions about how a machine works and will give good workout tips. Even the other people who are in the gym area will gladly help if asked, always friendly people around. Very clean place, and they take good care of their equipment.

This place is generally fun, was teaching teaching the kiddo to swim here, but after today me, my wife, and our two friends may not be back. We started swimming around 5 today, pool was decently busy, I found a chair for my familys stuff and our friends found one on the other side of the pool, about 30 minutes into swimming a large family walks in and starts looking for a place for all of their stuff, unfortunately they were hovering around the one vacant chair next to mine, slowly but surely they started moving my familys stuff around, to the point where they had 2 of the bags on top of my familys stuff and several other bags under our chair on top of shoes. Around this same time my friends stuff is being thrown on to the wet floor by another person, directly next to a life guard, when my friend confronts him he proceeds to get in my friends face saying get over its not a big deal all while next to the life guard. After this the guy who moved the stuff complained to the life guards and left, we decided to leave not too long after and I went and pulled my stuff out from the mountain of stuff this trashy family had piled on top, all while I was being glared at. After bringing it up to the lifeguards their excuse was well everyone is just looking for seats and that matters why? First come first serve, Ive already had stuff stolen last summer here, and I know they arent responsible for lost or stolen items, but when you have several life guards witnessing peoples stuff being thrown to the ground and doing nothing, then theyre going to be responsible for cleaning to teeth out of their pools if this continues to happen.

We had a lot of fun here. The kids really enjoyed it.

The kids had a great time and my granddaughter enjoyed her birthday party.

My grandchildren attended the Brick summer camp this year and they will never go back. This place has children watching children and management has no concern for insuring the safety of your children. I expected much more for the cost of this camp compared to the care that they received. I highly do not recommend and only put a star because it would not let me post unless I did.

First time getting out to a pool this summer because of right and left shoulder surgeries. Was concerned about being in a public pool . But this place was Great, calming atmosphere for both in and outside pools.Am sure going afain as much as possible☺

My wife and daughter love this place. We would join if we werent moving soon. The only negative thing I would say about it is their indoor pool is really cold in the winter. Dont know if they try to heat it or not but it was freezing to me. Other than that top notch.

The inside pool is amazing. So many activities for anyone to enjoy in the water. Plenty of lifeguards. Check it out.

Beautiful Center! Pool slide, lazy river, lap pool, fitness equipment, 2nd level walking path that goes around the whole area, rock climbing wall at the center, friendly staff. Huge playground outside, soccer field and outdoor pool. The whole package. Great pricing including military and veteran pricing. Cant wait to get membership going.

Ok. First time visiting last week.I like the idea of the place.The staff very accommodating.Changing a event to different location at the last minutes, isnt good for the guest, or preparations.

I love the Zumba classes that are offered here! I wish they had a Thursday, and Friday night class available. The only reason I am not rating this recreation center a 5, is because they keep taking away certain amenities like towel service, certain classes. And they cant seem to control the temperature in the classrooms. For as much as we pay for monthly membership dues, its a little disappointing. All in all, it is a nice facility, and the staff is friendly.

I cant believe that the worker *a female of child bearing age* compared breast feeding to wearing sports bras and skimpy swimsuits. COMPLETELY different. If I lived around there I would be at the nurse in! I hope they mama sues and secures that babies college tuition. As for the worker, try getting informed before making such a ridiculous request.

I do love the center...its very nice. It does get very crowded though...every time Ive gone its over crowded. Also the price is a bit on the expensive side, but it does have free childcare while you workout, so cant really complain much.

Very nice community center. It has complete workout area plus large room for classes such as Zumba, yoga, etc. Indoor and outdoor pools with showers and lockers, indoor basketball courts and track. There are rooms to reserve for parties, meetings, etc. Family and kid friendly areas throughout. Theres a walking/biking trail around the complex also.

The BRiCk is a great rec center and gym. It has everything you could want and at reasonable prices. The staff are great and always willing to help. We feel lucky to have such a great facility so close by after having to drive to Fort Worth for a gym in the past.

Great place to exercise and play with the family. Enjoy using the indoor pool and splash pad year round and the outdoor pool all summer. Also have lots of lessons and camps for kids.

This place is also family oriented. Its clean. They have activities for kids like basket ball, swimming ect. The facility is well maintained with different classes including dance. Theres a room to workout for parsnts with children.

I was NOT impressed with the way they conduct business. First I was told that I am not a Burleson resident because of where my home is located, even though I have a Burleson zip code and pay Burleson taxes so I could not get the resident rate, but I am retired military so I was able to get the military rate. I bought a family annual membership but cancelled it after 13 days because no one was using it. I paid the $20.00 cancellation fee up front as requested but when I got my prorated payment back, they had taken another $30.00 out!!

Its a nice facility. But the website could be more user-friendly. Its challenging to find info sometimes. Now I just call.

I’ve never done this before but I am very passionate about my experience today. This was my first time here. I came to set up a birthday party for my child, which was $300. It was high but my child wanted it so ok. I got here, they didn’t know what paper I should fill out first off. We got all that settled and it came to paying the deposit which was $75 and I can pay the remainder 2 days prior to party. I handed her my card to process the deposit and she took the whole $300 off my card. I was obviously upset as this is Saturday afternoon and I had plans today that included the money they took off my card. I demanded it be reversed today, immediately. The manager did not know how to do that. He called another manager who spent 30 minutes trying to walk him through it but in the end she didn’t know how either. So here I am 2 hours later, waiting for an actual financial assistant to show up and give me my refund. Very very bad first impression. I’ll never b back. Beware to others who wish to set up any kind of party.

Its a great recreation center with an awesome pool area and very kid-friendly, but the fitness area is just OKAY. ..they have tons of treadmills and elliptical machines, but no stair masters...not even one in the entire workout area and a VERY limited weight area. However, I rated it okay since at the price point it offers limited hours and limited machines, but charges the same amount as most state of the art gym facilities.

They aren’t breastfeeding friendly. Be prepared for them to call the police while they harass you for feeding your baby as they also offer the restroom to go to in the meantime because every baby wants to eat in the restroom. 😑 All of which they never apologized for even after finding out I was well within my legal rights to breastfeed my 16 day old baby on premises.

I had my sons bday party here and it was the best! My son had a great time and so did the guest.

Horrible service for birthdays. Booked the party and to find out that they gave the room we Booked and time slot away when I had a confirmation for the room and time. Did not comadate us for their error. For the 2 hours that was paid which was expensive the kids got to swim maybe 45 mins due to breaks of the life guards and the time to eat and open the birthday gifts and to eat cake. We was told if we wasnt out of the room by the end of our time we would be charged almost $2 per min and that if the room was not cleaned, swept, mopped or trash taken out then we would also be charged and it would come out of the deposit we put down. When we checked out we were finally told that the kids and parents could have stayed and gone swimming more but was never told this when the birthday party room was rented and was told after the fact and everyone was already gone. Overall I would not recommend this place for party and will be having it at a diffrent place next time.

Awesome experience everytime we visit! I have referred numerous friends and family to this facility and they had a great time. I love how they switch ages in the pool giving the adults and kids time. Only thing i dont like is you have to not have a shirt or shorts to cover up while going down the slide for people who is not fortunate to be skinny but hurricane harbor does.

This is a good place the people are very friendly and they love to help the guy who gave me a tour was very informative and helpful and he really loved his job the people there love taking care of thier customers and they go out of their way to get you the right information you are looking for the place was very clean

My daughter had a wonderful time in the indoor pool

After getting here at 12:30 and waiting a half an hour for the pool to open, the indoor pool wasn’t open. That took an hour. We went to the outside pool and my daughter was told she couldn’t jump off the diving board because she was wearing a swim shirt. We went back inside and when it opened, she was told she couldn’t go on the slide because she was wearing a swim shirt. I don’t understand this rule, but ok. I went to their shop and bought a workout top, and she was able to go on the slide. We went back outside and she was told to put on a shirt. That “sports bras” are not ok.I spent $18 to get in here and $12 on a top and all I am getting is “no” and frustrated. We will never be back here again.Sell bathing suits. Or give up your stupid rule. Jesus.

Awesome facility and staff! We have been members for two years now and have no complaints. Most of the bad reviews are probably from people who have never been there and basing their review on one incident that was blown way out of proportion and people need to get a grip. I nursed my children and am a proponent for breastfeeding, but show some consideration for others too. As a mom, I don’t want my children to see your big-nippled boob in public, regardless of how beautiful and natural it is. Taking a poop is natural too, but I ain’t about to do it at the front door for everyone to see. Just saying…

The BRiCk has nearly everything a family could want. Amenities are plentiful and kids love the rock climber. For all this and a staff weve found very cordial, its well worth the membership $$.
