Everyone was so nice and informative. I was very much at ease. They explained everything that was going to happen during my visit and what might happen at future visits.

I made a review and both parties communicate and come up with a better solution🦷 but will see if I will have the solution I needed.1. This year, I did not have my implant adjusted yet due to pandemic but hopefully before the year end, as I am aware that dental implant patients, needs to visit the dentist twice a year, for Bi-annual cleaning and adjustments.2. not only for a newly night guard as I requested? as I am still experiencing a gag reflex.Sadly, I prefer Ms. V to deal with this problem, though she was informed to stay away from this problem. she is the one who is with me on this journey to have my implant procedure, so I prefer hopefully we can work this out.

I have never written a review for any kind of services, professional Healthcare visits, products etc. Although, I do reference them often. Therefore, I feel compelled to write this review for Dr. Oshetski and his amazing team.Many people dread dental visits or avoid them altogether for a variety of reasons. I understand the apprehension.I chipped my front tooth in the second grade while playing with friends. Seems innocent enough however, this injury has led me down a seemingly endless, very expensive, painful & discouraging path for roughly 3 decades. All of the time and money was more than worth it when I was introduced to Dr. Oshetski. He and his wonderful staff were incredibly professional and at the same time made me feel relaxed and right at home. I was recommended to Dr. Os office for a long awaited immediate implant surgery. Despite my nervousness/anxiety going in I was put right at ease. He was very clear as to what to expect before, during and after my surgery. The surgery went swimmingly and Im healing rather well. My overall experience and the outcome far exceeded my expectations. I am so impressed with his work that I have since transferred dental offices, for myself and my entire family. We will be traveling from SW New Hampshire to Brunswick, Maine (4+ hr. Drive) for regular dental visits, smiling brightly the entire time. Thank you Dr. O!! My husband and I recently changed to Dr. Jim as our dentist. I have had a tooth issue for about 3 years that was never solved. Dr. Jim listened to my concerns and immediately knew what was wrong. He worked his magic and I have no more pain. It was amazing!!!I We highly recommend DR. Jim and his cheery, accommodating staff. Our four younger r grandchildren go to Dr. Jim. This morning our youngest said he was just amazing. They all are very comfortable in his care.

Had to call him at his home on a Saturday regarding a severe toothache. He gave me over-the counter med use instructions, but then called me back to say he had a plan in place if I couldnt hold out until Monday. I was able to wait, and he saw me immediately Monday morning. Did some work, and then set up a plan- all fine. Im more than pleased with Dr. Oshetski.

My semi-annual cleaning felt thorough and well done. In the past (with a different hygienist) checking for oral cancer was routine but not performed this time. The office is very friendly we have highly recommended them to friends and relatives in the past.

I needed extensive dental work which was clearly explained from start to finish. Changing my dental care was my next choice. Had my first dental appointment for a cleaning and again I would rate 5 stars +. I have found a team that I would say is ONE OF A KIND. Normally I am very comfortable at the dentist. At 77, with several crowns, I have had a lot. And I have been very happy with the practice. Today, for reasons I cannot explain, the first stage of the cleaning was very painful. It may have been a new technology not used before, but for the first time in decades I was glad when it was over. Otherwise, great experience.

My family and I have been going to this dentist office for many years and have always had a wonderful experience. Being, as I am, a full-on denta-phobe who has been known to manifest hives at the very idea of going to the dentist, it is truly saying something that I give these folks 5 stars. Polite doesnt capture it since it goes past that to genuinely friendly and most importantly, they are extremely good at fixing teeth painlessly. They also explain the process, and are just downright wonderful.

I had extensive dental surgery for posts to be implanted and dentures fitted. The work was all extremely well done, the end product fits perfectly and works as intended. The staff at the office are second to none and extremely pleasant. I have enjoyed each visit to the office and can recommend this practice to everyone.

This office gets my highest praise. The gum graft procedure I had done there two days ago went much more smoothly than I had expected and my recovery seems to be going just as smoothly. I had heard stories from others about their gum graft experiences with various dentists, and I mentally prepared myself. But Dr. Oshetskis team put me at ease with their sympathetic, professional manner. They were precise in telling me what to expect and attentive in answering all my questions. They seemed relaxed and on task during the procedure, and theyve kept in touch with me over the phone and on email several times since. I feel well looked after and I have enormous confidence in the exceptional skills of this team.

The thought of having my wisdom teeth pulled made me so nervous! I had heard so many scary stories and was dreading having it done. Dr. O and his team made me feel so comfortable and reassured me that I would have a great experience. This building is very cool, with lots of history. One of my favorite parts of it is the artwork hanging on the walls celebrating the history and life of the many faces of Ft. Andross. No soliciting here, but I recommend checking out the old mill architecture and getting some unique river views.

Last week, I had a tooth extracted while under conscious sedation which is one reason why I chose to come to this office. I must say that the entire experience was very relaxing and tolerable as opposed to other extractions that I have had to have previously. I had the most positive experience here, after having some horrible experiences at other dental places. Dr. Oshetski is very receptive and took my opinions/budget into account when making recommendations, which was a huge relief. Traci was lovely, and was very careful to make sure I was comfortable. Vanessa was also a sweetheart. Everyone was very positive and kind, and as I said open to discussing my particular issues and helping me come up with a manageable plan (I do not have insurance, and paying out of pocket is a very frightening venture).Also the view is just gorgeous so you arent just staring at a blank wall, which actually makes the whole dentist experience much more pleasant.

What an incredible team of professionals. Dr. Oshetski is the best dentist I have ever had. Even for multiple fillings and crowns there is never any pain and they are so accommodating with my schedule. Even stayed late when I needed an emergency visit. I never realized how important teeth and gum health is until about 3 years ago. Dr. O and his team have helped get me back on track and have saved my teeth from what could have been a major disaster! Having healthy teeth has given me more confidence. I would recommend this office to anyone!

I love Dr. O and the whole family I encounter when I go there. The office itself is probably the most beautiful dental office in the world: high ceilings, exposed bricks, huge windows overlooking the river in an wonderfully restored mill building in downtown Brunswick. Great music, too--calm but upbeat. Lots of jazz/blues. The women at the front desk are amazing, and they bill your insurance for you. A couple reasons for a lower-than-5-star rating--in general, everything is more expensive, which is worthwhile for the premium service and office IF you care about those things. Also, recently Dr. O. was unable to numb me for a replacement filling (though he had been successful on the opposite side for the same thing--so this gave me pause), and then when he had me schedule for sedation as an alternate plan, I wasnt informed that it was likely the sedation would NOT be covered by my insurance. So just be sure to be a smart consumer and ask for costs upfront, and if you like jazz and blues and wonderful people and a soothing environment, you should love this dentist!

I see a wonderful counselor in this building. The interior of this old building is just beautiful with the old wooden beams and a ceiling that they painted the exposed piping. I always find myself saying I just love this place. The reason for the 4 stars is that the parking is just awful.

During a major in-office procedure yesterday, Dr. O and staff made every effort to ensure that I was comfortable. They were very careful in giving follow-up instructions, and made adjustments in meds for my specific needs. Dr. O uses the most current, proven tools in dental care and treatment. The icing on the cake was the follow-up call from Vanessa this morning to make sure I was ok. I was reassured that I could call any time with any concerns. An aside: If you like live singing during a procedure, Dr. O has a very pleasing voice -- wish hed sung more but its kind of hard to ask with his hands and equipment in my mouth!

We all tend towards becoming incredibly attached to what we have known and loved. After moving from New York City a few years ago we went so far as to plan our return visits to the City based on when we were due to see our beloved dentist. When we finally decided it was time to fully commit to life in Maine we knew it meant entrusting our dental health to someone new. It has been nothing but another gift from our adopted state to find a dentist and dental staff that is so professional,welcoming and skilled. After my cleaning and follow up exam by Dr. Oshetski yesterday I left the office reflecting on my previous dentist and knowing he would be happy that I had by chance ( yes, I had responded to the information in in the elevator) found an exceptional replacement.

Dr. Oshetski and his entire team are EXCEPTIONAL. His office is beautiful, looking over the river and falls. You dont go for the view!! He is a thorough and incredibly skilled dentist with a warm manner and fine sense of humor. His staff are all super friendly and when you have your teeth cleaned you get a lot of helpful tips for upkeep vs. scolding.I think its unusual to have such an informative, upbeat, helpful and thorough staff. I trust everyone there completely....and Dr. Oshetski is absolutely the best dentist I have ever gone to. As a senior patient...his office appears very cutting edge, bells and whistles..that is very reassuring. I recommend him with confidence and enthusiasm.

The front door sticks so badly that some folks think its locked until someone comes through and releases the catch but I love this old friend. I remember when it was an outlet for local shoe factories and textile mills. Its where my parents could trace foot sizes on card board and come back with just the right pair of brand new shoes. As you step through into the front lobby, a special interest display greets you so its also a tourist attraction which always attracts clients for your business. Just now, the most delightful Christmas tree and sleigh full of presents greets anyone coming in. Please try again. It really is open. The latch just sticks a bit.

The Painless Pole continues his great service. New dental assistant (for me) handled bite wing X-rays expertly.

Fun? Maybe not, but Dr. Oshetski and his crew do make going to the dentist as pleasant and non-intimidating as possible. Equipment and training both are state of the art. Without exception, everyone there is courteous and efficient. The office runs like clockwork. Every one of my (many) appointments has begun on time. I think they know the patients time is valuable, too. The view is so fantastic I sometimes forget Im in a dentists chair. When I leave I actually feel rested and refreshed.

Having just moved to Maine -- and mid-implant -- I was a bit nervous about finding someone to finish the work started earlier this year by my long-time dentists. I found Dr. Oshetski and his wonderfully friendly and helpful staff to be highly professional and efficient, and Im (almost) looking forward to seeing them again. And the view from their Fort Andross office isnt bad, either.

The dental hygienist was great - friendly, gentle and thorough . Both the hygienist and the dentist listened carefully to my concerns and took action. I really appreciated that. Came here to peruse the stalls at the Flea Market on Saturday. They only open on the weekends but also have limited hours during the week for restocking purposes. Lots of things to browse through, books, records, and various knick-knacks. Loved all the selection of ice cream scoopers and bartering is of course encouraged. Vendor owners were all pretty nice and friendly.

I went to see Dr. Oshetski for multiple implants. Due to the amount of work that was involved, I had to make several trips to his office. Each time he and his staff were exceptional at making me feel comfortable and relaxed. His work will last for my lifetime. His expertise with sedation dentistry is to be commended. I have never felt so comfortable and relaxed in a dental chair. Dr. Oshetski has a great sense of humor which always helps me relax. I love Dr. Oshetski and his team! Ive had bad experiences in the past and equate the dentist chair to the electric chair. But, not here! I first saw Dr. Oshetski after my dentist saw a loose tooth which had an implant under it. She explained it was tricky and to see an expert. Enter Dr. Oshetski. He fixed the implant and it was as good as new.We then addressed my bite. I have had recurring tinnitus which was like having a fly buzzing it my ear. At times it was relatively maddening to the point of affecting sleep.I had sought out several other treatment to no avail.After the intricate bite adjustment work my tinnitus is totally gone which is a joy.I can recommend Dr. Oshetski and his staff without reservation.Bruce Whipplep.s.My return visit for another implant was as professional as the first experience. Dr. Oshetski is a consummate professional with a fun, friendly and very skilled staff. I used to absolutely dread going to the dentist for any reason, but now I look forward to my appointments and my teeth have never been healthier. My hygienist is wonderful and understanding and extremely gentle. Dr. Oshetski is a very skilled surgeon and dentist and I will be trusting him with my dental care from this point forward! What impresses me about Dr. Oshetski is that he is never satisfied with his skill level or knowledge base (which are considerable) but is always pushing to learn more and improve patient care. The most complex procedure he completed for me included extracting two root canaled teeth and replacing them with implants. That was 4 years ago and the implants are like real teeth. Ive had no problems with them. The staff are skilled and pleasant and make the patient feel at ease. I wouldnt go anywhere else and am totally comfortable with their care. I highly recommend them !

TMJ became a problem for me in 2014, when I woke up one morning, yawning. Thats when my jaw started cracking loudly every time I opened it beyond normal talking, and only became worse over the next 4 years. In the first months I experienced dizziness and ringing in my ears. Those symptoms subsided only for headaches, tension in my muscles and difficulty chewing/opening my mouth to take their place. The doctor at my college recommended muscle relaxers, my primary care provider offered little in the way of advice. So, 4 years later, I took to the internet, thats how I found Dr. Oshetski.As a financially independent undergraduate, I knew that treatment would be costly for my limited means, but I was determined to start adressing the problem as it was noticeably worsening. Dr. Oshetski and his entire office were professional, welcoming and accommodating.I was required to have my wisdom teeth out, and after hearing so many horror stories leading up to my extractions, I was nervous to (only) be sedated. As it turned out, I had nothing to fear, all went well and I experienced no pain during or after surgery.I had 3 DTR adjustments, which have significantly reduced my cracking and popping. I no longer have trouble chewing, talking, kissing, or brushing my teeth. My headaches have nearly disappeared. I was able to witness how my muscles spasmed prior to DTR treatment and how, after my final appointment, my mouth was finally functioning properly again.I recommend Dr. Oshetski to anyone seeking dental care of any kind. Ive never had a better dentist, and I dont plan on going anywhere else. Its a beautiful office with a caring staff. If you suffer from TMJ/D, I would start with a consultation and go from there!

The office is relaxing, in an old mill, overlooking the river. Sitting in the massage chair watching the birds fly outside eases the anxiety of dental work. My wife and our kids have been going to Dr Os since the kids were little and my wife and I got married. They staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They do sedative dentistry which my wife and step son love. We cant say enough good things about Dr Oshetski.

I have never looked forward to going to the dentist so much in my life!Words truly can not describe my gratitude, appreciation, and admiration for Dr. O and his entire team. About 3 years ago, I was hit by a car while riding by bicycle, shattering four teeth. The first dentist I saw did little diagnostic work, before pressuring me to make a decision on a treatment plan right on the spot. The first time I met with Vanessa and Dr. Oshetski, they really took a comprehensive look at my situation and provided me with a thorough, easy to understand explanation. I knew then that Id found the right dentist to help me out.My case was neither simple nor routine. Apparently I have a small mouth (figuratively, at least...I think the office would agree I keep my big mouth going with stories and jokes haha) and the process took almost two and a half years from the accident to going back just for regular cleanings. We spent a lot of quality time together, which I look back on fondly. They held my hand while I cried, laughed at my corny puns, and asked me about specific people and pets in my life they knew I cared about.Even their office is amazing, with awesome views of the Green Bridge that make it difficult to feel stressed out. Sometimes Im sad to leave, because Id rather stay to hang out with the staff and watch the birds all day!As we all know, financing most dental work can be difficult. Its especially difficult when youre dealing with a major injury, auto and medical insurance companies, a family who is obsessively worried over their daughter, and a patient who just wants the pain to stop so she can eat again. Vanessa and Dr. O took this in stride- they listened with patience, and kept on top of paperwork, emails, bills and invoices.They provided such a level of professionalism and guidance through the process, that I felt like their top priority and only patient. I dont doubt that they provide that same service to all the people they help in the community.Three years ago, I could only eat pureed food and was in constant excruciating pain. Now, I have four dental implants that perfectly match my natural teeth, and can eat chips and nuts with ease. Ive also gained several new friends that I enjoy seeing every six months; each of whom Id trust with my lifeThank you all so much for what you do.

I was so impressed with Dr. Oshetski and his staff. From the moment I walked into his office I was immediately at ease. I visited to get a dental implant and Dr. Oshetski took his time making sure I understood the procedure and the steps that he would be taking. My implant is testament to Dr. Oshetskis attention to detail and artistry. As I was being sedated for my implant the office has a beautiful view that kept me calm. It was great waking up to a brand new tooth. His whole office made me feel so comfortable, His entire staff made me feel that I was with family instead of being at the dentist.

I was experiencing vertigo for 5 months, it was debilitating and affecting my work and quality of life. I came to Dr. Oshetski after trying acupuncture, massage, vitamins and physical therapy. Dr. Oshetski felt the vertigo was from TMJ and severe bite misalignment. After 5 months of trying everything else I felt I had nothing to lose. After the first treatment I noticed a signifigant difference I went a whole week without dizziness. After the second treatment I felt like I had my life back.
