I still can’t comprehend why this health facility is receiving bad reviews and one star. Dr. Dalton is the doctor who attended to me and the nurses took really good care of me with respect. Also, Dr. Dalton treats his patients as if they’re his close friends. Don’t let the previous reviews steer you away

I have been going to FMA since 2006. My first doctor was Dr. Jeske After my medical problems I was having did not get remedied by him in 5 months I moved to Dr. Wooster. My whole family loves him. After just 1 month of looking through my records from Dr. Jeske and getting a few more test done he figured out what I had and got me to the appropriate specialists I needed to see. His nurse Lorna is an absolute doll and we all love her as well as Dr. Wooster. They really do care about your well being and are so invested in you personally. Yes, there are many times that I have had to wait 30 minutes or more but it was still worth it.

I am a woman who has reproductive issues. I went into the clinic, as I was sure I was having issues again. Not my first visit with Dr. Mason either. Not only did Dr. Athena Mason not listen to me while discussing my past medical history, her office called to tell me that I was pregnant. I had given a urine sample and verified TWICE with the nurse to make sure I heard correctly. This was a miracle from Jesus and I was overcome by emotion and elated at the idea. Both my boyfriend and myself were devastated to learn that it was MISTAKE a full hour later. They read me another patients chart. After I verified with her TWICE. Name and birthdate given. This news came after my boyfriend excitedly told his parents and pretty much anyone else who came across his path. Not only did Dr. Mason refuse to speak with me or my boyfriend, but she had her office manager (a woman whom I have never met) call to deliver the awful news to me. While I was at work. And on top of that, I’m being charged the full amount of my visit. I will tell EVERYONE I know to never visit this clinic. They shuffle you , like cattle, and do not even stop to consider whom they are speaking to. I never make reviews like this, but I am appalled at the lack of care in such a delicate situation!

Wake up people and let the doctors do their job, sound like a bunch of cry babies on here complaining about time it took. Gees get a life.

I have been a patient of Dr Jeske for over a decade and slowly it has gotten worse and worse. When arriving for an appointment they are 30 minutes to an hour late. Also keep you waiting in the exam room after bring you back. I was very clear to them that I have to keep appointments or I would not be in business they do not share that same beliefs. Also after being a patient for Dr jeske I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer that was apparently missed thankfully for a car wreck that almost cost me my life Dr Griffin at St Francis found it during surgery. This is a cattle style doctors office that deals in lots of patients. I dont necessarily blame Dr Jeske for the office management. I think Dr Jeske is a very smart, ethical and moral doctor. But the management will cost lifes.

They forget to call in prescriptions, if they dont have info they just blow it off instead of calling the patient. If you get scripts make sure and verify where they were sent (they seem to lose your info) and call the pharmacy and make sure they actually placed the order for your scripts. If they didnt call them in dont expect them to call you and ask for the info at all. If the doctor wasnt so great we would move to a different clinic.

My wife and I live out of state, but our go to clinic is Family Medicine Associates. Our experience over the past 10 or 15 years has been extremely good. For us the doctors have been very professional and the test that they complete to make there final diagnosis is what we like the most. We have used two different doctors at this clinic and both have been above and beyond expectation. So you wait a few minutes here and there, you every been to a doctor offices that was on time. We havent experienced any rude staff or any long waits that are outside of any other facility with like offerings. We would high recommend Family Medicine Associates for any of your health issues. This is my first review of any kind, I just wanted to add my two cents after reading all the other reviews.I can assure you 2.3 doesnt do this place justice. Visit and find out for yourself. My brother and his wife use the same clinic and feel the same way we do.

I had been a patient of Dr Dalton some years back and I was also pushed into a sleep study for sleep apnea as were a lot of the other people leaving reviews but he did help me figure out some other issues I was having. I had to find another Dr because of switching jobs and as he was not on my new insurance plan. Fast forward at least 10+ years, I went back to Dr Dalton (because of my change in insurance again) which was a little over a year ago and he didn’t like the blood pressure medicine I was taking (which was working fine) and switched it and will not refill my meds unless I come in every 3 months for more blood work. I’ve never had to come in every 3 months for blood work with any other Dr I have been to.When I told the person on the phone that called about this, I was told “Well that’s the just way Dr Dalton is”I have also completely ran out of my meds waiting on the Dr’s office to get back with Walmart on my prescriptions, after Walmart sent them in 3 different time with no response from the Dr’s office. I then called the Dr’s office and was told I needed to come in for blood work again and my blood work comes back good every time.I have not been satisfied with my experience at this office and I’m not sure if I could recommend them to anybody I know

Another update: They will not confirm coverage with your insurance you as the patient are expected to know the billing codes and coverage restrictions or call to get the details. This place is a sham. Update there are at least 2 other reviews where this doctor pushed sleep apnea or sleep studies on patiences.....Read the reviews do not go here. Dr Bryan Dalton is terrible. This was the worst experience I have ever had. I literally walked out mid appointment. I said I dont trust you or your bias confirmation practicing. He walked in looking disheveled, his scrubs were dirty and pockets were torn and his mask was being worn around his neck (Even though they ask all patience to wear them and made us wait in out car to be seen.) I commented on the wait time and he nonchalantly said oh the other doctor caught Covid so I have to deal with it all now. . .yes Deal. He look at the back of my throat and said do you snore? I said not really he asked if I sleep on my back I said no and he asked if I can fall asleep quickly I said generally yes he then said Yeah Im thinking sleep apnea He then went on a spiel about sleep apnea and how it causes lots of problems falling asleep quickly is bad and is a red flag. He said that kids with ADD or ADHD dont really have it , its just sleep apnea and they need their tonsils taken out...he then referenced an article that he printed and hung on his door guess what it was about... you nailed it Sleep apnea. I am not making this up. My blood pressure was slightly elevated at 120/90 and he recommended blood pressure medication and said without checking my cholesterol he would recommend medication for that too. He said and I quote Overmedicating is bad except for 2 things with blood pressure and cholesterol He then told me he wanted to do a prostate exam I am 32. Seems unnecessary and like he is just trying to just make money. Oh and to top it all off he wasted SOO much time talking about himself and his time playing college football. KNOW WONDER everyone is waiting!!!! I would not trust this guy to house sit let alone practice medicine. It scares me how many patience he has misled as a result of his preconceived ideas rather than through true diagnosis. Dangerous.

I have had nothing but trouble with this clinic. It takes forever to get someone to call you back when you have a question. The referral nurse is NEVER there! I went through so many run arounds trying to get basic questions answered and things taken care of. I was a new patient going through some pretty scary stuff. I had so many tests run, I cant even count the number, but it would take weeks to get results, I was usually the one that had to finally call and ask for them, then I would have to wait for someone to call back. Sometimes that took days. After lots of research, on my own, I discovered the cause of my issues. When I told the Dr. (Mason), what I had found, and that it was my gallbladder that needed to come out, she just kind of smirked and said that no surgeon would ever see me if my tests came back clear they all did come out clear. She just gave me diet pills and anti-depressants and said it was anxiety and brushed me off. I went and visited a surgeon anyway....sure enough, he took out my gallbladder, and Ive been better ever since, NO Thanks to Dr. (Mason). I also needed a copy of my records for some legal things that are going on. I called, and they told me to come in and fill out a form, so I did. The front office staff just kind of laughed when I told them I needed a copy for myself. A couple of weeks later someone from records called, acting dumbly confused that I needed a copy of my records. She said she would call me within the week and I could come get them. After 2 MONTHS I still hadnt gotten my records. I made a phone call, and they couldnt find my records request which is total B.S. After a long time on hold and being transferred several times, I finally got someone to kind of help me. I am so over this office and their staff. The staff is highly unprofessional. Do yourself a favor and a lot of time and find a better place to go.

Zero stars isn’t an option.*added after owner response.*The response below is telling. The rating of this clinic was 2.4 when I came here and left this post. My comment didn’t change the already low rating. They simply only care about stating their point, not about helping people. They care more about continuing to be condescending, rather than resolve anything. I’m certain the office manage typed that. She took the time to single this comment out, and dig her heels in further. Lending to my point. I see none of the complaints regarding the quality of medical care were addressed directly, because the person that runs this page can’t speak on the topics in a condescending way, so she doesn’t. She only cares to address that which she can demean through.

Ok I rarely write any review but today I have to. I felt like I was tricked by the staff here. I made an appointment and check with my ins to make sure all preventive care will be covered. My ins rep said yes. I asked the front lady in the office if my visit today will be covered since I only want a routine visit, she said yes. I then proceeded. Month later, I got a bill about $200 and I was confused. I called the office and they said it is my deductible, they billed everything as preventive care. So I called my ins and the ins said all the tests and lab works listed on the bill were billed as diagnostic care. I called the office again, now they said those tests and labs are part of their routine and they said they told me to check with ins before they tested it. I was like I ASKED YOU IF MY VISIT TODAY IS 100% COVERED AND YOU SAID YES. As today, I am still calling them to give me an answer why they tricked me. This office set up their routine tests and lab works and most of it are not preventive care even though they said they doing preventive care and covered by ins 100%. Dont go to this place or if you have to, sit down with them and break down all the tests, lab works or else you will be billed a lot.

I went on a personal recommendation, but should have trusted the low ratings. Dr. Mason was abrupt and condescending. She cut me off mid-sentence multiple times and spoke to me like I was incapable of understanding. They put my name wrong on my chart originally which I normally would have been capable of laughing off, but after the horrible visit I had with the doctor it was just another thing to go wrong in the nightmare of an appointment. I did not have a long wait, so that was a positive thing, I guess. At least she is giving me a referral, but I didnt actually need one; I could have just made my own appointment with a specialist and bypassed that horrible experience altogether.

UPDATE: I have now been fired by my primary care physician for writing this Google review. Family medicine associates has placed this review in my medical file and has used this review as a basis for terminating my care. Im not exactly sure about the legalities involved but Im pretty sure that **my freedom of speechi is being curtailed and I am being hit with repercussions for voicing my opinion***.This is probably the single biggest reason in three years that I would be incapable of recommending family medicine associates to anyone. The average wait time see the doctor is approximately 2 hours. Calling about medication refills is pointless because notes either dont make it from the receptionist back to the nursing staff or promises are made, as in my case, that the prescriptions will be called in quote unquote right now but then upon calling back the next day they havent been called in. I do not know why the systemic dysfunctional culture of this place is a comfortable place for the people that work here but it is not comfortable at all for the patients. Every time Im here I listen to people talking about how long theyve been waiting and yet if I show up 20 minutes late for my appointment I am turned away and told to go home. I will be looking for a new primary care physician finally because Im simply in a place in my life where I have to get rid of the things in my life that dont work. He has been seeing my husband and totally ignored labs and symptoms that were glaringly obvious that something was wrong. 40lb weightloss in 30 days, SOB, unable to complete daily activities, muscle aches etc. Was told to see another specialist that Dr. Asher recommended and was told they could not see my husband until Sept. Then asked to see Dr. Asher because of the worsening symptoms was told he would get back with my husband, he did not get back to him for 2 days (late on a Friday)and then said if your symptoms get WORSE, go to the hospital otherwise I will work on getting you in to a specialist next week. We are young and these symptoms are serious. We came to hospital, but called before leaving to get his records sent over so they would have the entire picture and that was promised and did not happen, I called the after hours doctor to get his records and she refused to get them said to get them in the AM as the office was open. I tried Sat morning and was told by the office they could only give records out M-F regardless of who they were for. Now on Monday morning I called and asked for Dr. Asher to call me and he still has not. I called back and was told he had left and refused to call me and will be back on Wednesday. How is this caring for a patient? Refusing to help him or the doctors who are trying to save his kidneys at the hospital with his records? Dr. Mason is GREAT!! Probably one of the best in Broken Arrow. Its never the Doctor who is the problem, it is the staff. This office has the worst staff I have ever seen at a Doctors office. If you gave each one of them a full Wit they would be half-wits. They do paper tickets on Patients instead of computer tickets which makes it even more frustrating when trying to get information from them. When you call, they will immediately put you on hold. Then after a few minutes, someone else will answer the phone having no idea who you are or why you are calling. They will put you hold again, after a few minutes a third person will answer the phone and again, not know who you are or why you are calling. This happened to me every single time I called the office. The staff do not care about you. You are a customer. To the staff, you are not. Therefore, they feel like they can treat you however which way they want too. They do not care if you go somewhere else. To them, all they care about is their paychecks. I needed a letter from Doctor Mason in the past. The nurse typed it up, the Doctor signed it and everything was fine. Today, after 3 weeks of waiting for a letter from Dr. Mason about a medication change to the VA, I was told that I had to pay $50 for that letter. For a three sentence letter, the staff wanted to charge me $50. I have called 5 different Primary Care Offices and all them said that they do not charge for a 3 sentence letter. This is the kind of customer service I am talking about. I have been calling about this letter for weeks and because I was starting to get a little irritated about it, the girl on the phone wanted to make up some story about how they charge $50 for a letter. And then when I told her that I am going somewhere else, she just says Ok, I understand. She was just going to let me walk instead of figuring out a way to help me. The staff is the worse. They are completely unorganized and have no idea what they are doing. I feel sorry for Dr. Mason. She is a great Doctor and its unfortunate that she is ultimately the one who lost a patient (Paying Customer) because of her incompetent staff. I cant wait to become a Primary Care Physician. Because I will steal away every Patient from places like this. My Patients will be treated like customers, and they will feel welcome. Stay away from this office. If you dont, you will eventually leave because of the incompetence. I referred a buddy to this place. And after one visit, he already found someone else. Not because of Dr. Mason, but because of her moronic staff. Now I am sure they will reply to this comment, trying to sound like they care or trying to sound like they are not in the wrong. But they are only lying to themselves if they think they are a customer service oriented PCP office. Whether they are right or wrong, they did nothing to keep me as a customer. They did nothing to try and make it right or help me obtain what I was needing from the Doctor. They would rather see me walk, than to help me get what I need. Again, Stay away from this office. You will be very disappointed.Hi! It’s May 2021, I just wanted to hop back on here and say that unfortunately, this office is still the worst I have ever had. I am at a new Primary Care office where the front desk girls are actually smart and educated. The girls at Family Medicine Associates are still in my opinion a bunch of Very dumb brain stems walking around bumping into each other while eating different color crayons. Please, trust me when I say, go somewhere else. Don’t give them 1 minute of your valuable time. Because they will both purposely and accidentally waste it.

Dr. Dalton is a horrible doctor. Wrote my perscription out, but did not go over any of the details with me. Had the nurse bring my two prescriptions back to me. Asked if it contained anything I told them I was allergic to, and the nurse told me she did not know and to ask my pharmacist. I asked to talked to the Dr. Dalton, but was told he was very busy. Pharmasict said it would be okay to take, but after taking the cough medicine I blame nauseous and started throwing up. The next morning my throat was itchy and had a rash on my arms. Tried to get a hold of Dr. WALTON and could not. After four hours the response back was the cough medicine was not making me sick it was the antibiotics. So he prescribed more anti biotic. When I took the cough medicine again had the same results. Talked to my pharmacist and she said to STOP taking the cough medicine clearly I was allergic and that they would contact Dr Dalton. They tried several times that day and could not get threw, my pharmacy tried from 12pm-5pm. They said Dr. Walton left at five according to his office, and there was nothing they could do. The following morning I tried calling Dr. Dalton several time with no luck. I left messages every time and received no returns. Finally heard back from Dr. Daltons nurse and she explained that Dr. Dalton said he will not prescribe me another cough medicine and to take tussin. Never will I go back. Never had a Dr. ever just shrug off a possible allergic reaction and tell you to take the same medicine again.Update...Talked with your office manager a week after my issues. Dr Dalton has got to be the worse doctor my husband or I have ever experienced. We were in that office for 3 hours! 1 was spent in the waiting room and the other 2 were spent in the exam room. Dr Dalton came into the room for a total of 10 minutes after his nurses gave my husband some breathing treatments and took a flu test. They never tested for viral or bacterial infections, when his main issues were coughing and hard time breathing. My husband was asked 2 questions by the doc then Dalton proceeded to tell him about sleep apnea for most of the 10 minutes he was there after looking at his throat. He never returned with scripts to talk to him about what he was prescribing. He sent his nurse in the the script told him what they were and tried to leave. When he asked a simple question if the meds contain the ONE thing he is allergic too and the nurse just shrugged and said “ask the pharmacist”. I’ve seen vets treat pigs for slaughter with more respect and dignity then this doctor treated my husband. This is also the 2nd time we have seen this man and the experience was the same both times. This man does not give 2 craps about patients.

I seriously question the validity of Dr. Daltons licence to practice medicine as well as this facility to call itself a medical clinic. After my PCP retired, I thought I would try someome close. Made 3 visits to FMA. Visit #1 - Met Dr. Dalton who ordered lots of ( in-house drawn) labs and spent 10 mins trying to convince me to have a sleep study - which I had done previously and was fine - and declined. ( Later, I received 8 messages from a sleep study facility on my Vmail. ) It took six WEEKS before his office left a message on my Vmail that I needed to see a specialist because one of my labs was abnormal! (Didnt bother leaving the results of all the other labs that were taken.)Visit#2 - Visited their aftercare on weekend. Diagnoised with a sinus infection (no xray done), given two shots, prescription and sent home. After 2 days feeling worse, went elsewhere where I was correctly diagnoised with kidney infection. Visit #3 - Came in for an annual checkup with Dr. Dalton. Before starting the exam, I asked the tech for a copy of ALL the results of my labs and told her I wished for a few minutes of Dr. Daltons time prior to starting the check up go over the labs. She returned not once -but twice -saying he refused! Really? I left. Never received a phone call or letter going over the results of hundreds of dollars of labs he billed Medicare for - but I did get a letter a month later telling me to find another doctor!
