He was a good doctor about 5 years ago, but sad to say he has become only a pill pusher. I waited 50 minutes in the exam room for 5 mins consult, for a yearly exam. Took my blood pressure listen to my hear and lungs looked at my ears and throat, order prescription and sent to labs, total time with the doctor, approximately 5 mins. Im done with using him. Good luck doctor you have lost all credibility with me.

Couldn’t understand what he was say and he did not address all issues I came in for !Was there more than 15 minutes before appointment and still was there almost an hour and a half and not many people there ( under 10 people total ) uncalled for if you ask me !He didn’t speak clear had major runny nose and sneezing 🤧 maybe he should of stayed home ! I told nurse he needs to be checked out !!As far as staff they were great 👍Nurse that gave me my flue shot was awesome and didn’t even feel it and she was so helpful and knew her stuff !!!!But unfortunately I probably will not go back to him I will find a different doctor !

I will never go back to Dr. Vu. My last appointment with him was to discuss pains I had been having in my chest & side. I barely started to explain when he decided I needed a “trigger injection”. When I asked what that was for I could not understand what he was saying because it seemed he had something or some apparatus in his mouth. After giving me the injection he came back in & wanted me to sign a consent form that he laughingly said he was suppose to have had signed before he gave it to me. I was in & out of his office so fast I couldn’t believe what had happened. The injection did absolutely nothing for me & today I received a bill for balance due on a $266.00 injection that I didn’t ask for or understand why I needed it.The time before I went to Dr. Vu for fatigue he decided I was depressed...gave me an anti-depressant & then had his nurse call me later to tell me my blood work up showed I had mono. I never should have gone back to him after that.

Worst Dr in Oklahoma. I started going to him because I moved here and he was my mothers primary. He issued her a medication she shouldnt have been on and almost killed her. She switched Drs immediately. I continued to keep going to him. He is very uninterested in what you have say. He puts you on medications without really listening to your conditions or symptoms.. I had high blood pressure , a pulled muscle and thyroid issue which I tired to ask him to check. He said I was fine and it was anxiety. Put me on 3 different types of antidepressants in 3 weeks. I also had showed him my blood work and he said it was fine. Turns out my liver and sugars levels were not ok at all. Went to a new Dr. after a month of not feeling well from the symptoms I told him about. My blood pressure was at stroke level, , I had a pinched nerve in my back as well and my thyroid was swollen . My new Dr wrote me prescriptions for everything wrong and in 2 weeks I already feel 10 times better. This man does not need to be treating people at such a great hospital.

Completely uninterested in being in room. Stayed on phone entire time. Issued script that I did not know about till I left and provided no information on what it would do or potential issues with it. Left room at end without saying bye and did not realize he was not coming back until tech came in and stated I was done. Diagnosis and treatment for what I did go in for did not solve problem either. I was new patient to him and was looking for new PC but will not use him again. Upon entering room attempted to introduce myself and greet him and was basically blown off. Barely shook my hand. Not rude but completely uninterested and unengaging....again spent whole time on his phone and did not speak to me other that a few questions. Could not understand him due to accent and had to have him repeat everything several times.

Just called to schedule an appointment because I have had a cough and sinus infection for six weeks now. I was informed that because I have one of Covid symptoms they will not bring me in unless I get tested first. So I am sick and cannot see a doctor until I am well again. Something is wrong with this situation

I’ve canceled Vu as my doc. I went to him due to a cough I’ve had since January (pre-coronavirus). He has thrown 4 different drugs at it with no help. This last appointment he wouldn’t even see me even though my temp was 97.6 due to a cough (that I was coming to see him for) and that I had back pains from playing golf for the 1st time in a year and that I had shortness of breath due to onstage copd (which I’ve had for 5 years). They said he would see me in video chat...I said if he didn’t see me then he will never see me again!

I took my grandfather in to Dr. Vu today and I am just amazed at how terrible our experience was. This doctor did not care at all about my grandfather! His bedside manner was the by far the rudest I have seen in my entire life and Ive worked in an E.R. no communication skills whatsoever! I tried talking to him and asking questions but he wouldnt acknowledge me or my grandpa. Completely ignored both of us! Tried putting my grandpa on oxygen when his blood ox was at a 97? I dont know if he just got his degree out of a crackerjack box or what. We will be switching PCP asap. I would never take anyone I care about to this doctor!

I’ve left a previous review and I’m leaving another one because that’s how much I love this doctor. He’s been my primary for a couple years now and every time I see him he’s compassionate and listens to me. Just saw him today and he helped me so much with an issue I’ve been dealing with for awhile now and I feel 1000% better; both physically and mentally. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Vu and his staff are absolutely amazing !!! Sometimes you have to wait a little bit to see him but he is very patient very sweet and his amazing nurses are just simply wonderful !!! I looked at the reviews that were online and they are not correct. In my opinion, the doctor that they are describing is not Dr. Vu. I took my 14-month-old son to see him and they fix the issue quickly, they prescribed him a medication to him that did not cause any side effects and they were exceptionally patient with a 14-month-old that wanted to run around. We moved down here from another state and I was very worried that we were not going to find another primary doctor as good as what we had in Kansas City but I do believe we have found Our new doctor!!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Vu for a few years now and he has been absolutely wonderful. If you’re looking for a doctor who is going to find solutions to your illness or condition, he’s the guy. I message him and his staff through the message option when I can’t make it in after a month of seeing him and they respond. They are so upfront about everything and are looking to make you well again. If you’re looking for a doctor that beats around the bush and spends a lot of time making you have ‘feel good feelings’ then I can’t say Dr. Vu would be who you’re looking for. If you’re looking for a doctor who will find solutions for your problem, a doctor who listens to your ailments or issues and then does his very best to find a cause behind it, This is your man. My last doctor was at the office and was my doctor for over 10 years, when she left I wanted to stay with the same office and I’m so glad I did. Thank you to Dr. Vu and the staff for always being willing to go above and beyond.

So he has been my PCP for about 5 years, he has always been great until my last 2 visits with him. This one today, I felt like he didn’t even look at my medical history. I could barely understand him.. and I have always heard him clearly any time before. He gave me a “trigger point” injection in my lower abdomen, I asked if it could be my endometriosis spreading, he said it could be... sent me out with a print off of the trigger point injection... I WILl be changing my pcp!

No interest in taking the time to listen what the patient has to say. Did not care to to perform some basic examination or to develop a logical diagnostic treatment plan. Even though I had a previous visit to the ER (headache, blurry vision, potential vascular issue) with notes from the ER Doctor recommending follow up with Dr. Vu for additional screening-imaging, Dr. Vu did not factor that aspect into the diagnostic and just considered that migraine medication is basically the plan of action. How can you say that is nothing else to worry without screening? How can you tell that is just a migraine and not something else like a vascular problem without a thorough examination? Staff personnel totally disconnected and only concerned about filling forms, printing paperwork and clicking on a computer. Lifeless. This is pretty much the standard in general for healthcare in the U.S.

Dr. Vu is the WORST doctor I have ever had. He always seems rushed and annoyed that I am in there. Hes always preoccupied with his phone and always says he doesnt know what to tell me. when I am trying to tell him I am not feeling well. He does not treat me with respect and I always feel worse than I did when I came in. I do not recommend him. I am currently looking for another PCP who will listen and treat me respectfully instead of trying to pump me with medication to shut me up. It has been such a horrible experience and I dread having to see him. I find him to be completely unethical and I always feel like I am wasting my time after my appointments.

Well, I tried to give the couple of negative reviews that are on here the benefit of the doubt so I decided to go in. Front desk was lifeless, nurse who took my heart rate and blood pressure didnt have any sort of personality whatsoever and now to the grand finale, the doctor! Dr. Vu didnt seem interested in my condition at all. He just asked if I needed any meds and to see if I can take one of their cholesterol tests(which had nothing to do with my pain). He was constantly checking his cell phone. That was probably one of the worse visits Ive ever had with healthcare professionals. I truly wish it could have been a better experience. I dont think you could pay me enough money not to care and be passionate about people that I could help. Hope St. Johns Hospital improves its customer relations.

I have bad knees - bad arthritis in both. Dr Vu ordered some quick X-Rays and gave me a cortisone shot with lidocaine - not fun but so far very effective. They also took care of my blood pressure while I was there. He was friendly and answered all my questions. Overall good experience.

My 17 year old son went to see Dr Vu about some medical issues. While there he ran some blood work and found out his vitamin d levels were low. He instructed my son and ex-wife to buy some over the counter and take 5000 IU a day. A month and a half later he ends up in the ER from Vomiting. They admit him to the hospital because his kidneys were in failure. The doctor in the hospital was amazed that DR VU would tell someone to take so much Vitamin d. Of course in his records he doesnt say anything about how much to take. I looked up the side effect for too much vitamin d and he had all the side effect. My son for the rest of his life will have to deal with this because of this doctor. worst doctor ive ever been too
