My mother has completed her therapy here. The building was very clean and well kept unlike most of the skilled nursing facilities I visited. The only negative that I have is the visiting hours are not family friendly. Everyone that came into contact with my mom was pleasant. Any issues presented to management were handledpromptly. I had a peace of mind with my mom being in the facility.

I am a patient here now. The food is awful. I cant even get a cup of coffee when i wake up in the morning.Today i was given a breathing treatment with no medication in the nebulizer!! Did she think i would not know?!!!?!It takes forever for anyone to answer the call button and twice as long to get your medication request.Please be more attentive to your patients.......We dont want to behere . This is now 2 daylater and im still waiting on my meds from pharmacy! So ready to walk out of here!

IM VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE BUILDING BEING ODOR FREE.EVERYONE HAS BEEN VERY HELPFUL. THIS IS ALL BRAND NEW TO US, AND WE APPRECIATE IT.

My mom was at this place for two weeks every time we call to check on her nursing never would return our call my sister went to her window to check on here and she was breathing like she just ran a marathon then the nurse had the nerve to say there is nothing wrong with her and we had them to send her out to the hospital and she was dehydrated and she passed away I would not send my dog to this place

The food here is very good and the staff here is very pleasing. They do a good job when they are caring for their patients. They are dedicated and hard driven when they are trying their best to take care of us. Im well-pleased with being here. I advised you to bring your loved ones here.

Its one of the cleanest facilities that I have been in. Overall better attitude with staff than a lot of other facilities. The nursing and therapy teams are pretty good about doing their jobs. You can also talk to the staff freely, homelike environment. The extra bonus is the food!!

My nursing staff is good, they help me. My aides are great they get me moving. The therapy department is awesome, they taught me how to use the bedside potty chair. Everyone has been good helping me to better myself.

I would not send anyone I cared about to this facility. When I expressed my concerns things got worse. I try to get my concerns answered several times only to find that it was a waste of my time. Such a sad experience.

This is the nice facility that I have been in. The atmosphere is pleasant and friendly. I like the nursing staff because the care. The therapy department is caring and hard working. They are helping me to get stronger.

Everyone here is so nice and friendly. I wouldnt be where I am today without the help of all the staff here.

I would not put a dog in this place! Their staff is at least half temps who are only there for the paycheck! They have several perm staff members who are caring and were pleasant and helpful. The others are texting or talking on the phone, it is not unusual to wait for 50 minutes to an hour to have someone to answer acall light!!The food is served in a styrofoam take out container with childish plastic dinnerware. 98% of breakfasts are oatmeal, scrambled eggs and either 2 sausage patties or 2 slices of bacon with virtually no variation.Super is often a cold sandwich which has to last for 15 hours (5pm to 8am)!I and several other residents received curdled milk!Life care center was resently inspecteded by the state, and, I have been told by a staff member, they lost their Medicare & Medicaid accredidation.Saint Joseph Hospital has report them to the Abuse of the Elderly.But one of the most grievous fact is that they treat the residents like children and strip of their dignity!!Again many of the permanent workers are excellent and often have to pickup the slack...I could go, but I hope you get my point! FYI, they pulled fast one to get me removed. But everything I have stated here is TRUE!!!

Ive been here at Life Care Center of Bridgeton for about a month, Im very pleased with the whole entire staff. They are some welcoming and very thoughtful individuals. I appreciate everything they have done for me. I want to thank everybody for theyre hard work and dedication.

Life care has a excellent staff on duty here they all greet you every day and night with kindness. Unfortunately wearing mask you cant see them smilling. When you need something done, just press a red button and eventually they come in to find out what you need. when you fill out a paper requesting how much you wanna eat the kitchen pays no attention to it.

I am very happy to be here. Everything is going well. The nursing staff and physical therapy staff is great.

Physical therapy is really good and patient. I have been to several nursing homes and this one is much better. I have been here for 3 weeks and had just started to walk before that. Looking forward to going home in the next couple of weeks to enjoy Christmas with family and fur baby.

My wife came from inpatient hospital and will now be here receiving her PT/OT and ST as she recovers. Everyone has been nice, and the facility is very clean and seems to follow appropriate COVID guidelines. I look forward to her continued treatment.

The therapy team is great and is thankful for the nurses as well. The food here is really good.

Therapy is helping me walk again one step at a time. I have moved on to a rollator and and getting the strength I need to be able to go home soon. My stay has not been perfect but they listen to my concerns and are working to make it better.

Today I am feeling good, much better than I did in the past couple of weeks. Therapy has been great with me and I am doing my exercise on my own 5 times a day and am up and walking some. Every day I am making progress

The therapy team at life care Bridgeton has been wonderful. They have taught me how to sit at the side of the bed safely. they have given me the confidence to stand especially after I fell. They have taught me how to walk and utilize my left side again. Im excited to get back home again!

Mr. Leonard said that he has received exemplary care from the therapy team. He said he cant wait until Monday because hes going to give them an aerobics lesson.

Everyone at life care center is so wonderful. I especially want to thank Shelby and Alayna, Molly and Kristin, my therapists and Diana my nurse.

Both my stays here have been great! I have been well cared for and been able to return home. The therapy team helped very much. The bus driver was always so thoughtful and offered me snacks after dialysis. Thank you to everyone.

I really like it here. This is my third stay and the therapy really help me to get home and some of the people are really good to me and make me feel like family.

I have been here awhile and everyone here is nice to me. I like talking with nurses and the aides. I dont really like the food cause is puree. Its a nice place but I am ready to go home.

I really like the therapy staff..They are helping me to remember things .They are also helping me get strength back so i can get strong enough to get back to taking care of myself.

I came to Life Care Center of Bridgeton for rehab because of their great reputation for success. I have friends who recommended it to me, and they were right! The team here is excellent, and I know they will get me back home again.

The therapy is very good. I like my therapist and the work they do. They give you excellent work and work out and a speedy recovery to get back home.

I admitted to LCCB a few days ago. So far everything is going well. Everyone is so nice and helpful. I love the therapy Im getting. The nursing staff gets me everything I need. The food is good as well.

I LOVE LILLIAN!!! She does exemplary work, she honestly cares about people, which makes my stay here great. My food has been really good as well. They have outstanding staff here and I would highly refer to Life Care Center of Bridgeton.

My mom was there for 46 days. She was never given the renal diet I was promised on admission and several times by the DON Shelly. They forgot to take her to dialysis her first day in the center. Lost 4 pairs of her pants. When she was sent back to the hospital and returned it took over 24 hours to actually find her belongings then several things were missing. I called at least 3 times a week to have her items found for 3 weeks. When we got her out of that place we found her belongs in the bag on the back of her wheelchair with a spoiled milk. (Dialysis patients arent supposed to have milk). Obliviously no one had looked. She reported that she only got one shower the entire stay and that happened after several calls from my sister and I. That was the first week she was there so that means no shower for 40 days. I found her window was broken to her room spoke to 4 different staff members on Sunday afternoon requesting the window be taped. There were gaps in the broken glass where air could get thru and it was Dec. Called the DON and head of maintenance on Monday morning no response. Called my mom in the late afternoon window had not been taped. Called in at 6;30 pm still not taped called and screamed at an assistant director who finally went and taped it herself. The window was still broke over a week later. Most days she went to dialysis she was given nothing to eat prior to leaving the facility, she is a diabetic, when she was it was yogurt or a box of cereal (fruit loops) and milk. Again renal patients can only have very limited dairy products. She had diarrhea for 2 weeks before anyone decided to send her to the hospital were it was found she had c-diff. The day they sent her I got a phone call from the nurse that just said What hospital do you want to send your mom too? No I am nurse so so and so your mom is having these symptoms we think she needs to be evaluated at the hospital. Mom said it took 30-60 mins for anyone to check call lights. I personally was out side her window had her put on her call light and waited 30 mins then I called the front desk and asked to speak to her nurse asked some one to come her call light has been on for 30 mins. Mom was told by Aides several times that they had 18 patients to care for and didnt have time to do things. It was 10pm some night before they got around to getting her ready for bed. Took a week to get hemorrhoid cream and 4 days to get the proper c-diff medication when I spoke to the nurse the day she was transferred back told of an adverse side effect she had to the med ordered. Director of the facility tried to blame issues on Covid I told her if she is that short staffed stop taking referrals. Oh and for discharge planning they went into my moms room and said who is picking you on Friday (News Day) Never bothered to call the family for discharge planning I had to call to get things going. Thankfully I was able to move in with mom for a week after discharge because the nursing service they set up couldnt come out till 1/6 and the aides didnt start until 1/8!

The food has been really good and I am looking forward to be able to walk longer distances.

This is a great community with such warm and devoted staff. I am truly proud to be a part of such a terrific team that strives for the best to ensure the health and safety of all residents and staff.

I was very impressed by the skillfulness of each of the OT, PT and Speech Therapists. The positive attitude of all of the therapists was extremely helpful.

I like the staff, everyone treats me with respect. I like the food, would like more. Im improving everyday. Getting stronger daily.

I have only been here a few days, but everyone has been good to me. Its a nice place.

The staff at Life Care Center of Bridgeton are taking very good care of me. I know Im in a good place with friendly, helpful people.

Everyone is really nice and the nurses are very helpful. The food is good. Therapy is helping reach my goal of going home.

Therapy really did some great things with me. They seemed to really want to make sure that I was doing well, that I was able to complete the exercises, and made adjustments that were necessary to be able to do them. The nurses bring my medications on time and ask me what I need. Meaghan and Bill have been helpful to me in my time at Life Care Center of Bridgeton.

Everyone here is really nice .I like all the friendly people who helps take care of me from day to day.

All of the occupational therapist and physical therapists have been great as well as my nursing team.

If your goal is to overcome medical decline and increase your mobility, elasticity, and mind, Life Care Center of Bridgeton Rehab is the place to come! My 96 year old father had to be hospitalized for the first time in his life with pneumonia causing a decrease in his strength, independence, and mind. In a mere 28 days, my father has increased from needing total assistance to only needing minimal to no assistance. We are nothing but pleased with his outcome and look forward to recommending the Life Care Center of Bridgeton Rehab department to close friends and family. If we had to choose all over again, our choice would be Life Care Center of Bridgeton Rehab. A special thanks to Kat, Donna, Nick, Meaghan, Leah, Krystal, Hannah, Spencer, and Bill. You all rock!

My friend just discharged from LifeCare center of Bridgeton last week. The staff was so nice and friendly. We had some issues at the beginning but when I went to management all the issues was addressed. I just want to say THANK YOU to all the staff who carried for her.

I been at Life Care Center of Bridgeton for 1 year. I am a bacon lover and at first I wasnt getting my bacon daily and my daughter called one time and that was corrected and I look forward to breakfast everyday cause LCCB makes sure I get my bacon daily. In my time of being I have encountered some great nurses and aides. But I want to thank the lord for Marquitta Bishop Burress and Stephanie Shanklin for being extremely great to me, they are a true blessing for me. There are too but cant name them all. I thank the lord for Life Care for the care they have given me since I have been here.

My mother was sent to Life Care for fragile rehab after a fall. No complaints about the facility or staff. In fact, the staff was super nice & took good care of her, especially the physical therapists, food service folks, nurses, etc. (If anything, they were almost TOO nice...I think she needed a little more tough love push to get out of bed & get moving!) Management was helpful and Ms. Jordan in Soc. Services provided very much appreciated info to family members clueless about Medicaid & other options.

I am a 82 year old, Long Term stroke resident at Life Care Center of Bridgeton. The therapy team here was able to make me stronger and help me articulate and form full sentences again. This facility has some high values. The facility is very clean and the housekeeping and laundry departments are great. The food is as good as it can be. The nursing department cares. At my age, it is important for me to take my medicine. The nurses are always here day in and day out making sure I get what I need. The staff here are very friendly!

My grandmother was a resident at life care center of Bridgeton for rehab. The staff and management team was outstanding. They made sure her needs were met in every way. I highly recommend life care Center of Bridgeton for anyone who needs rehab.

We have used Life Care Center of Bridgeton to care for my elderly mother over the past several years. It has been a wonderful place for her. The facility is very well kept, always clean and a very bright and cheery environment. The staff have been wonderful to her and the care she has received has been excellent. Thank you so much!

Our mother stayed several times in respite care at Life Care Center of Bridgeton receiving excellent care. if any issues arose we were called and informed. The staff were very welcoming, our Mom wasnt aware of the attention she received but we certainly appreciated it.

There have been a lot of good things during my stay! The therapists have been patient and tolerant. The food has been real good and HOT. Nursing has been wonderful, aides have been terrific. Everyone has been friendly.

We moved my sister in the facility a few months ago and we could not be more happy with the care she has received. I would recommend this place for your loved one everyone is nice and helpful when we need it.

In February of 2019 got sick again and came here for rehab . i enjoyed my time here made many new friends . Theraphy was great as usual . I had few experiences that were negative .the majority if my experiences were very positive . i did enjoy my time here . you make your own positive time

Life Care Center of Bridgeton did a good job taking care of my great-grandmother. She was a long-term care patient. They were responsible, knowledgeable, supportive and receptive and responsive to my concerns. I had a very good relationship with the LPNs the CNAs the social workers and the business manager. I highly recommend Life Care Center of Bridgeton for long-term care!

We highly reccomend Life Care Center of Bridgeton. The entire staff was helpful, patient, kind,caring,professional, joyful and willing to help every step of the way. My husband was a short term rehab patient and the entire experience was stress free. He even liked the food! The facility is clean and well maintained. Kudos for a wonderful care center...THEY DO CARE!

My mom just got released but I want to give s special thank you to the staff and administrators at Lifecare.❤️Everyone gave my mother excellent treatment and were very courteous while doing so! I highly recommend them if you are looking for a place for your loved one.

I was brought to this facility at 11:pm and put into bed. I had hip replacement surgery. No one knew what I needed. I lived through the night. I had special instructions on how to lay ,walk and get out of bed. No one got that memo. U turn on red light to get attention, not true. It means avoid at all cost. Place is grossly under staff. I am still here. I have called my insurance company and they were able to get me help with in the building. Food leaves a lot wanting. Commode is stopped up. When CNA was told Do I look like a plumber,? Was response. I am not sure I can last here. My hip cannot take it.

My mother was recently a patient at this facility. She received some of the worst care possible. Many of the nursing staff were rude and uncaring. She would have to wait 1 hour or more to have her ostomy bag removed while fecal matter ate at her skin. The only redeeming grace was the level of care was the physical and occupational therapy staff. The CNAs were helpful when possible. Thankfully she is no longer there but had to return to the hospital.

My mother has been at Life Care Center of Bridgeton for several years. The employees address her by name and are kind and respectful to my mother and our family. i feel very comfortable having her in their care.

Horrifyingly short-staffed.

I would like to thank Life center of Bridgeton and Phyllis J for the invite to their trunk or treat. My nieces and nephews had a great time and everybody was so nice and thankful that we came out.

My mom stayed at Life Care of Bridgeton for a 4-5 week stay after having a minor stroke that affect her short term memory and she had issues with getting around due to hip and knee replacement prior to the stroke. The staff there were great, they were attentive to her needs, and the therapy staff were unbelievably great. They worked with her on memory, speech and physically with her walking. Her memory speech have improved 100% and she no longer walks with her walker just a cane. I want to thank the staff from the bottom of my heart for everything they have done! They are truely great!

My mom is currently at lifecare center of Bridgeton and the nursing staff has done a really good job with her recent transition and has made this feel like a new home. I really think the team cares about my moms well being. I’m really happy we chose this location for her care and stay!

ICE .,BUT PHSICAL THERAPY DID EXCELLENT JOB.I WOULDNT RECOMMEND NO ONEI ONLY GAVE ONE STAR,BECAUSE IT WOULDNT LET ME POST(0 RATING)

I am absolutely appalled at the care my mother is getting. She has been there 2 hours and asked to use a bed pan and was told they were too busy and she can defecate and urine and they will get to it later. Then she calls me having a sugar low and after half hour finally someone comes in and is annoyed she needs help. When she arrived they put her in bed and left. I have no clue if shes getting medicine or adjusted side to side. Maybe the other staff is not this bad but i will be there tomorrow and if this is not resolved i will pull her out of there and contact who ever i have to to fix this. No one should ever have to go through this nonsense. I will update and let you all know if these issues were addressed or not and redo this rating if i am 100percent satisfied. Updated 4/25/19 problems were resolved very quickly. Infact staff reached out to me so to be fair i wanted to update this post and explain it seems to be an isolated incident with 1 employee. Management was totally respectful and willing to make things right after speaking with us. Im impressed how they handled this. I will be taking this post down after this update has time to clear things up with anyone who read this. Thank you

I spent about 6 weeks at this facility in a rehab situation. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was good and we were given a choice on most days. The nurses worked hard to make sure all my needs were taken care of and the room was cleaned daily. I would return if I ever need to be inpatient in that situation again. I am also going to do any outpatient physical therapy that I need in the future at this facility. Highly recommend.

A friend of a friend referred me to this company/location for cna training,saying they do have payment plans available if needed. I have called to inquire. Update if possible.

1st the good news. Underwood the nurse is fantastic and so is Peggy up front. They are both exceptional people that my late mother loved to be around and I always felt comfortable when they were involved in her care.The bad. My mother was a resident there for around 2 years. The 1st year things were ok. They they had massive turnover. After the change you could tell the level of care went downhill fast. If your loved one is in this facility they will need an involved advocate.The medical care lacked and things only got done when I became involved. The final week of my mothers life I had to tell the nurses to take her to the hospital as they were not going to and she obviously needed to as she passed shortly after going.Now onto the stealing....throughout her stay things always got stolen. When she first came someone stole my late fathers wedding ring off my mothers finger while she slept. Anything of value was routinely taken. I was pretty sure who was responsible and when they were fired the stealing stopped for a bit. Then it picked up again.Body wash, money, perfume..anything of value was taken at will and I constantly had to replace it. Management installed a few cameras and would refund or replace things sometimes at first but it got out of hand. Then they tried to have my mother sign a waiver saying that the facility was not responsible for personal items stolen....for real..which we did not sign. Its sickening, the residents dont have much and what kind of cold hearted person steal from the sick and elderly. Do you want this person caring for your loved one???The icing in the cake was after my mothers death. It took me a few days to get up there to clean out her room. Her entire room had been ransacked. Body wash and other items I had bought a week earlier were gone and I could tell that some sick person had taken time going through all of her possessions to take what they wanted without even a care to cover their tracks. I put it behind me and was just glad she or I had to never spend another minute there. My mother died in mid November 2019Just today January 28th 2020 I recieved a bill from one of my mothers clothing catalog companys that someone had purchased $350 worth of clothing on her account card on December 30th 2019, the card was most likely stolen from her room after her death as it was in her purse, and had the items shipped to the nursing facility. The authorities are now being involved and I hope the low life thief is caught. Anyways this is my experience with LifeCare Center of Bridgeton. Mom was extremely unhappy there the last year or so and if you plan on taking a loved one there for an extended stay be cautious or better yet just dont.

I been here so long, that everyone feels like family. Especially now that I dont get to see my family like I use to. I like the food here too.
