We are very appreciative of the time and attention that the staff gave at Mark Twain to make sure our dad was well taken care of and attended to. They even put him in a room by the window where he was able to see the trees and plants which brought him so much joy during his difficult time. We are so grateful to everyone at Mark Twain for such a wonderful experience.

I highly recommend Mark Twain Manor! I was referred to this facility and could not have been more pleased! It is a scary thing knowing which nursing home to choose especially if you are not being able to walk in when you want to see your loved one. You pray your decision does not end in regret. As hard as it is to make the decision to let others take care of your loved one or even accept this is what is best, you for sure want the best care possible. I felt right away this was the home we were looking for!

I was very skeptical about letting my mom come to a nursing facility in the middle of a pandemic. Of course, I had the typical guilt of never wanting to do that to her. Before admission the staff at Mark Twain called to go over what was to be expected. Once mom was admitted I was able to greet her at the window to make sure she was okay, and the staff had already started settling her in.The nursing aide, Melvina is such a joy and instantly made mom feel like family. I was still feeling pretty anxious and let the social worker know how I was feeling, and she let me have a “compassion” visit with mom. This really helped settle my nerves. Walking in there are no smells, everyone looked well kept, and every person that I walked by said hello. I could go on and on, but the point is during this awful pandemic I’m glad that I had such an amazing experience at Mark Twain. I would recommend to any skeptics to give them a try, and I have also referred one of my dear friends to them.XoxoTina

Very clean and welcoming building. Staff always go out of their way to say hello and make sure you are well taken care of.

Had a great stay at this facility. Staff was helpful including the nurse robin and the administrator came to address any and all concerns. The business lady valerie was also helpful with my insurance and natalie with getting me discharged. I would come again.

I wish I would have never put my father in a nursing home. The ratio patient to nurse is very low. It seems this place did not have enough nurses or assistances to take care of everyone. The staff was very nice, but they dont have enough employees to take care of your loved ones.

Very clean and well run facility!

This place abuses and neglects the patients. The head nurse leaves my father sitting soiled for hours, leaves good all over his face, gets very rough with him leaving bruises! Its horrible! My family has spoken to the administrator several times but nothing changes! The nurses puts my fathers call button too far away for him to reach every time they go in his room causing him to have to yell for hours to get help. His room is close by the nurses station so they clearly hear him but ignore him. They all stand around on thier phones talkin and eating. This place is torture! They are slowly killing him!

This hell hole deserves a negative 5 stars. The medical care that my mother received was sub par to say the least. The gross negligence that resulted in infection nearly killed her. The staff lacks integrity and stole money and other personal belongings on multiple occasions. We have the police reports to prove it. If you care anything about your loved one, do not allow them to be admitted to this hell hole.
