He has great retention of his staff and they are LGBTQ+ friendly. Dr Rechtin removed my wisdom teeth himself and the surgery went smoothly and he was attentive to me the whole time (since I was awake for the removal).

He was amazing one year when my ex husband got hurt and was out of work, he was there for us. No dentist has ever felt like family. I couldn’t say more about them. We moved an hour away from there and tried to use another dentist who tried to say I had gum disease to get thousands of dollars worth of work done, I called Dr Ted’s office and got in for a second opinion and was told they lied to me, and I was right in feeling out off by the new dentist. I now will go to no one else and will drive the hour there for my appointments to know I am well taken care of and have someone honest.

Like everyone else, I’m always a bit (a lot) apprehensive before my checkup, but that feeling starts to fade at the door. I have been a patient of Dr. Rechtin for many years but this is my first time reviewing. My first interaction with his office was when my wifes tooth went bad over the weekend. We called our dentist (they were closed) and they recommended an emergency room visit. We started calling dentists around us to see if we could get in anywhere. Dr. Rechtin is the first place we called. Despite not being existing clients and despite his office being closed, he met us at his office and fixed the issue.He has saved me on more than a few occasions; when I had a tooth break because i was chewing a Jolly Rancher, fixing a bridge i broke after about a week of having it in my mouth. In each instance he was able to accommodate my schedule and fixed same day.We are HUGE advocates of Dr. Rechtin and send people to him who need a goo dentist.The staff is world class IMO, both professional and friendly.If you need a dentist Dr Rectin and his staff are who you should see.

I had a routine cleaning scheduled and through the aid of their state of the art equipment, Dr. Rechtin was able to catch some spots on two of my teeth and was able to fit me into the schedule right then to do the fillings that were necessary. I typically dont like going to the dentist because Im bad at flossing, so its extremely painful when the dental hygienist flosses my teeth, but theyre very gentle about everything and they are awesome people! Good conversation, even with your mouth open. Id highly recommend them!

Had not been to a dentist in 2+ years due to insurance problems, knew it was going to be a bad visit, I knew one of my back molars crown had collapsed and my teeth had not been taken care of. They got me set up with an appointment to assess my mouth within three business days. Within an hour my teeth had been x-ray-ed, photographed and cleaned, the dentist talked me through a six-month/year plan to get me teeth back to as good of health as we could get them, and set me up with my second appointment (the first of four major appointments to deal with four major problem areas) the following day.Might cost me a few hundred to fix all of my problems (and a few grand without insurance), but my problems are really bad, and I feel that any other dentist would not have gone out of their way to get me in as soon as they did, and some of the problem teeth may not have as much effort put into them as Dr. Rechtin is going to try (just pull them and be done with them kinda bad) so I dont have to get dentures before age 30.Overall great dentist, and great staff.UPDATE: 03/02/18- Have since gotten two of the four major problems dealt with: the worrisome tooth was salvageable, but just barely (give or take another day/three and the tooth would have been too far gone to save). My crown collapse was too far gone but that removal could wait (no pain, not as important to remove as saving the teeth he could), and as long as the no pain stays consistent then its removal will wait until the last appointment.UPDATE PART 2: 03/27/18- all the salvageable teeth have been fixed, matched color, one major tooth to go- the one that has to be pulled.UPDATE PART 3: 04/26/18- The last bad tooth is gone! All of my teeth are fixed and no extreme pain (a little sensitivity on one tooth, but that is to be expected), a minor amount of gingivitis that will fix itself with brushing, and Im back to the regular 6 month cleaning appointments. Better than I could have hoped for.

Everyone was courteous and kind. Everything was explained thoroughly. My opinions and comfort were taken seriously. All in all, it was the easiest dental exam I ever had. I will definitely be back.
