I had a very positive experience at South Grove Family Dentistry. The staff were friendly and answered all of my questions. I originally went in for a dental cleaning, but the doctor was able to fit me in for two quick fillings as well. The office is also very clean and tidy. I’ll definitely be returning. Thank you!

The dentist is the perfect dentist. He’s very knowledgeable, great at communicating, and helps you figure out your problems while also helping you save money in the way you go about it. Also they’re very affordable for if you’re paying out of pocket! Couldn’t be more happy.

Dr Shafer and staff are amazing. My name is Marcus Roberts and I have never been fond of the dentist since a child. This is the first time in my life I have found a dentist who is extremely careful and professional and just as much careful. He takes his time to explain each procedure with expertise and precise instructions. I have now been a client for about 3 years and even I was to move out of town for work I would indeed fly back to go back to his offices. I have found a dentist for life. He is very knowledgable and is more about the care of his patients then the amount of money he can make off of you. I myself work in business and can easily tell the difference when someone monetizes their relationship with you based off client and services. I have never felt that way about him or his staff as they always go the extra mile to assist with whatever issue I may have.

The staff is super friendly and accommodating. I called at 9:15 and got my 11yo son in at 10am with a loose sore baby tooth that needed to be pulled. They fixed him up and we were home by 10:45am. He said it didnt even hurt. The Dr. came out to introduce himself and explain everything. I cannot thank them enough for how quickly and kindly they treated us as new patients.

Had an awesome experience here. I try to take really great care of my teeth but life gets away from me and I ran late getting a cavity filled and my teeth cleaned. Everyone at this office was extremely nice and caring with me. I’m 39 weeks pregnant and wanted to get everything I could done before I’m twice as busy. They were so gentle and careful with me and made me feel very comfortable with what was going on given my situation. Dr. Shafer talked to me through everything he was doing so I felt good through the whole process. Dr. Shafer and his staff are stuck with my husband and I for life. So happy with my experience.

My teeth and I have had quite the journey and the SG team make me feel loved, seen, normal, and work so patiently with me. Horrible, I mean HORRIBLE experience and felt like I was a potential revenue boost for them. Got xrays, and an offer to polish dirty teeth. Wondering if this is how they do business! I called insurance company and am writing a letter to ensure I am not charged for a cleaning.Definitely not the annual Preventative cleaning I made the appointment for. I walked out! Never would go back nor would I refer anyone to this place.

As always, Dr Shaffer was understanding of my dental needs and offered options and guidance. The front office staff was nice, funny and a pleasure to work with. I’ll be back to finish my procedures and to keep working with Dr Shaffer.

Literally the best dental experience I have ever had. Dr. Shaffer is the best!! I had to get an extraction, and cavities filled in both sides of my mouth in one day!! Dr. Shaffer was very attentive, paid attention to my needs and made me feel soooo comfortable. If you need a new doctor and he is in your network you have definitely hit the jack pot! His hours of operation are great as well if you work during the week!

Very friendly, accommodating, and caring. I go for 6 month teeth cleanings and Dr. Shafer takes the time to conduct the cleaning and asks how the teeth are doing. I HIGHLY recommend this practice! Only 4 stars because I dont love going to the dentist. I dont think I could ask for a better dentist. He recommends whatever is needed either now or down the road, hes not pushy. The staff has been very accommodating, they work with me on getting me into see the dentist. Im glad hes close to the grocery store and my little town of Nolensville.

I have had problems with my teeth and been to many dentists in my life and I am 72. Without a doubt Dr. Shafer and his fabulous staff have afforded me with the best dental experience I’ve ever had. Novocain injections were almost painless and spot on...not like some of the other dentist I have been to who injected me 3 or 4 times and still didn’t hit the right tooth. If you want a dentist that is knowledgeable, compassionate and truly cares about you, then Dr. Noah Shafer is your man.

Be Careful!!!This is the review I will leave thanks MiloSouth Grove Dentist Dr Noah SchafferI started going to Dr. Schaeffer few years back always liked him like the crew that was thereDecember 18 I had a cavity on the sides of one of my Tooth being retired I could not afford to put a crown on and actually I had a crown put on before and have had problems with it ever sense so I didnt want to crown I wanted it to be pulled . We decided to go for a filling so he told me that there would be no guarantee on the filling but he charge me $425 for a cavity on one side. I took a chance and about three weeks later the filling fell out so the pain got unbearable I couldnt stand it so I went in yesterday January 20 and ask him to pull it but I was going to be another $250 dollars I think which I thought was high but I had not checked out the prices elsewhere which by the way was a big MistakeI talked to the lady at the front desk said I was thinking about getting the insurance policy of dental insuranceThought it would save between 30 and 70% she said they had $99 a month and it would save 30% what I did not realize this and I still dont know for sure she said that it would only covered work done there then the guy said they said it covered other places also so Im not sure cause all I got was a receipt that said $249 so what it is called thrive anyway I paid 99 bucks and they were going back off 30%So I went home and did some research and is crazy how much she charged me compared to what everyone else says it its almost double so I know its my fault for doing it but I would think anyone that go get it to charge $425 and then went and pulled it which shouldve cost you know anywhere from $70 bucks I think $270 is the high he shouldve given me a break which he did ,and now he doesnt even call me back thats my story!!!

I went to my familys dentist for 20+ years and the last time I went to them they told me I needed almost $1,300 in work done. I decided I wanted a second opinion and took a chance on South Grove. They got me in quickly and the doctor told me that I didnt need all the work done, that a $6 prescription toothpaste would do the trick, and he was right! I went for my second visit yesterday and I got there and the service was quick and efficient. The staff are all friendly. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
