I had my first experience with Gentle Dental and I was very pleased. It started with the front desk Office Assistants Theresa and Christian who were professional, kind and acknowledged me and other patients as soon as we walked through the door.I went in to meet Dr. Clarindas Assistant who cared about my wellbeing by making sure I was comfortable. Dr. Clarinda is an exceptional Dentist who explained everything to me in detail making sure to refer me to the proper Drs.Just when I thought the visit could not get any better Dr Clarinda went to the Orthodontist, Dr. Moreno who came in and thoroughly assessed my situation without an appointment and gave me good advice regarding clenching. I immediately made my next appointment with him in which there was an opening the next hour. Dr.Morenos Assistant was quick and professional.If you are looking for the best dental office that serves all your dental needs chose Gentle Dental in Brentwood.

My experience started out pretty good with Gentle Dental.Dr. Clarinda was great and made me feel comfortable. She Was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable when explaining what I was going to have done on my next visit.I had fillings done 2 weeks ago, after my procedure Dr. Clarinda said give it a few days and the soreness should go away.Well that was a big fat lie because I gave it well over “a few days” and I’ve been in pain every single day since. I have been taking ibuprofen around the clock every single day:(I had ZERO pain prior to my procedure.Finally I got to the point where I thought to myself that something just isn’t right. So I call the office.It took 2 days for me to get ahold of someone to speak to. I left voicemails on then Brentwood office and “emergency after hours” line. No call back.So I call again the next day.I had the joy of speaking to a woman named “Kristin” who stated she was the office manager.She seemed like she was in a big huge hurry and was extremely rude from the start. She made me feel like she could care less about the issue that I am having that was caused by her dental office.She then told me that the soonest I could be seen is in one week because the Dr is out of town.To me, that’s not acceptable. For a patient to be in pain the way I am and the only thing she says is I have to wait a week?!I told her that there’s no way I could do that. The pain is unbearable and asked if there was any other option and if not I’ll just go to an emergency dentist and forward them the bill since this was caused by them, she laughed and said “go ahead and try but that’s called insurance fraud and we’d definitely sue you for that”HOW IS THIS WOMAN IN CUSTOMER SERVICE?!Look, all I want is for this damn mouth pain to go away. And for the Dental Office where I got the work done to MAKE THIS RIGHT.Please don’t go here, if you want a Dental Office where the WHOLE staff truly does care about their patients, then do NOT go here. Nobody should ever get treated the way I did by this very rude individual.Needless to say I’m STILL in pain, I go to a different dentist tomorrow to fix whatever it is that Dr Clarinda did to my mouth.

This is one of the best dental offices I have been to! Front desk ladies are very nice and the back office staff is very nice. Dr. Valderama is awesome! She explains things fully, and never rushes you.

I had a wonderful experience. From first entering the building the receptionist was kind and helpful. Then onto the dental chair the dentist and RDA were gentle, kind and not in a rush to get me out. I only wish they could do the root canal I need. I will definitely be back. Thank you ladies!

Im someone who is petrified of the dentist. Just coming for xrays was a test of strength, especially because this was my first visit, but for the first time I finally feel comfortable with a dentist. This is something Ive waited a long time for. The doctor actually consulted Me regarding what I wanted done with my teeth. All prior dentists had never given me a choice in care. Shes the first! I am so happy to have found Gentle Dental and look forward to actually finishing the work I so desperately need. The staff are fantastic, friendly and welcoming. If only I had discovered them sooner Id already have my perfect smile back already!

Gentle Dental Brentwood is hands down the best dental office I have ever had! Not only are they professional, they do an amazing job as well. The care they take in making your experience painless and quick is rarely seen these days. I will never go anywhere else!

Very rude front desk. First visits were a good experience but last couple of visits the lady in the front has had a really bad attitude. Im very disappointed at this dentist office. Not gentle at all.

I’m a first time user and happy of my choice. I made an appointment just to have my teeth cleaned but they needed to perform an exam first. This meant two appointments need to be made. I went to my appointment for the exam but had to wait Almost an hour because a family of four came in right before me that had the same appointment time. Rather than have me come back to my second cleaning appointment they cleaned me on the spot. Staff was very professional yet lighthearted which I admire.

By far the worst receptionist in the industry, while sitting around in the waiting room the lady just gossips about clients and bad mouths them. I understand now why this receptionist is very rude and unprofessional if you don’t like your job at don’t do it. Managaement needs to do something about this our whole experience with this office is horrible th information is not being forwarded correctly and the urgency of patient needs is not top priority. I will be furthering complaints to the top of the company this is very disturbing. Zero stars

Amazing they took extra good care of my pregnant fiance they got here in there sooner than later as soon as they had an appointment canceled they put her at the top of the list on top of that they are very nice My fiance has had traumatizing experience with dentists before and this one made her feel nice and secure shes absolutely ecstatic to go back thank you so much for taking such great care of my pregnant fiance I would highly recommend going here!!

Great clean atmosphere here.... much better then the 1 place in Discovery Bay where I live.

I am so thankful to be a patient of Gentle Dental. The office staff is amazing, always ready to go over and above to care for my needs from dental health concerns to billing. Not to mention how gentle they are when performing their dental procedures. I appreciate all Gentle Dental does for me and am blessed to have this caring staff for my dental care. I LOVEEEE THIS PLACE!!!! they have always been super kind and willing to go above and beyond for all of my needs. They make you feel comfortable and work with you at every turn. I live 40 mins away but worth the drive!!

They truly helped me get over my fear of the dentist. I acted like a baby the first two times and my Dentist was so sweet, soft spoken, patient, and GENTLE. I seriously wouldn’t go to anyone else. They’re lead Assisted is just as great and knowledgeable. The ladies up front are a pleasure as well.

The whole staff is amazing ! Dr V is by far the best dentist I’ve ever had. Like everyone I don’t enjoy getting work done on my teeth but seeing these lovely ladies puts me at ease. Also Stephanie the dental hygienist/assistant, is very funny and sweet , as well as professional. I don’t know what it is about Stephanie but I trust her, and that’s huge because getting work done on your teeth is a scary thing. I think this pair of ladies work really well together. Lastly the receptionist/front desk associate, is a pleasure to talk to her name is Tracy. She makes sure to put all the information down that you need in order to not only understand what’s being done but also how much it will cost. There was a little miscommunication with something I was billed with incorrectly, and Tracy took care of it right away. She is patient and kind, and you can tell she wants to make sure you are well taken cared of. Good job ladies keep up the good work!

This place was awesome.. the lady at the front desk was very nice and patient with me. The dentist was very patient with me she listened to my concerns she answered all of my questions and didnt make me feel like I was being rushed.. I wish I wouldve known about this place long ago. Even the lady who too my x-ray was super sweet THE WHOLE STAFF WAS AMAZING.. THANKS

Everyone was courteous & friendly. Youll will not feel rushed and even a root canal is not as traumatic ( no pain at all during & after procedure), in fact it was a pleasurable experience. Kudos to Tracy & Kristin at the front desk for such an easy & flexible scheduling. And to Dr. V and Shetty (Endo) for living up to the name Gentle.

I live in New Jersey and while on vacation my implant abutment fell out, went to gentle dental and Dr. Clarinda Valderrama re inserted my abutment with ease. WONDERFUL service! Left with a big smile! Thank you again! 👏🏻👍🏻

DO NOT GO HERE Paid thousands of dollars for work done on my wifes teeth for them to only screw up her teeth! They coerced my wife into getting work done she did not need this has been verified by 2 other dentist. Crowns that are cemented in should not continuously pop out; I have bonding on my front tooth from when I was 8 that has yet to fall out or need to be replaced! Furthermore, they rotate doctors continuously she had 3 different dentist all foreign work on her teeth & every time she had to go back it was a new dentist & each new dentist said the other dentist screwed up & more work was needed to fix the prior dentists mistakes; all costing me & my wife more money! The Dentist that work there are not US certified they are over seas certified meaning they came here took an exam & were given their dental licenses & guaranteed Gentle Dental did not verify their overseas credentials were even valid!!! We were guaranteed her 4 crowns would last 15 years ha! They have now popped out numerous times! Their dentists are frauds & have no idea what they are doing I wouldnt trust them working on my animals teeth. Im sure Im going to get some bs automated message from their business manager per this review or they will flag it to remove it; because they did just that to my wifes review from last night when again her crown popped out & she left them a review!! I WANT MY 6,000 DOLLARS BACK & to WARN PEOPLE DO NOT GO HERE EVER!

The office staff here are horrible they’re rude they don’t know their dental insurance they don’t understand the dental world one of the ladies hung up on me., when I called back for my daughter the said they were confused lolI said well that how you made my daughter feelWasted a whole morning gave her a bunch of paperwork didn’t give her the right paperwork for a release of x-rays very sad that this is the kind office we have in our city of Brentwood. My daughter was not feeling well from two root canals prior!! and the appointment consist of giving her paperwork and did not look at her mouth. Well they will probably not. Be there long!!’ Ridiculous

I have been with this unprofessional place since 2012 and still have my braces on, went thru 3 different orthodontist and had to start over and go thru the same process. Thru have a new orthodontist 2019 and he wants to start over another 2yrs! I’ve had it with this place, he doesn’t want to change my bands unless I start fresh all over again. I requested a refund for the time I’ve spent wasted and they haven’t reached out to me I called corporate and left a message, no ones returned my call. I will never recommend them to anyone, they took my money and still haven’t finished my teeth!!!!
