Absolutely love Dr. Alkhoury and his staff. A wonderful family dentist. He has taken such good care of my boys and I. A great experience every time and I wouldnt go anywhere else.

On Christmas Eve last year, my 18 month old son needed an emergency upper lip frenectomy. We didn’t have an appointment...we were visiting family nearby when we realized he had an issue biting food and the team at Brentwood Family Dental were AMAZING. They found time to see my son by staying open later than planned and delaying their own holidays. A team of 5 helped perform the oral surgery and he has been doing so well since then. My son was smiling and eating later that day! The whole team, from the first phone call, were so kind and professional and I cannot thank them all enough. My son’s pediatrician has since praised the dental work and he has had no complications whatsoever.

THE best dentist and office staff in the world!! I drive 4 hours from Northern Nevada to Brentwood for my dental needs. They are always so gentle and very interested in you. No pain ever and I had several crowns, root canals and deep cleanings done and not once did I experience pain and even afterward no soreness or pain. It may sound funny to say, But I love my dentist and his office staff!!

The office staff is very professional and friendly. The Doctor is very talented. I went in to have a chipped tooth fixed. The doctor fixed me up in 20 minutes and did an amazing job. You cant tell which tooth was reconstructed. I highly recommend Brentwood Family Dental. Excellent cosmetic dentistry.

I have been with Dr. Alkworthy for about 6 years. I have had mouth alignment to crowns, to massive dental makeover for front teeth. He is at the top of his profession for precision dental work if that is what you are are looking for. He makes certain you are happy at all costs and having a colorful history of a few painful dentist I can tell you with a certain amount of authority his work is painless. I am certain of all I say, as the dental work I have had with him, has been intensive. I keep coming back, so I do trust him. He likes to call himself an artist with teeth and I am certain that is one description however, I call him an advanced Dental Expert in his field - who continues to stay on top of the latest Dental Procedures and Prides himself in being an expert, in each new one he learns. All of this, will Cost you, also, they like to be paid in full, prior to beginning the work. He can be blunt at times but usually hes telling truth whether you want to hear it or not. He wants to make you happy and love your pain free smile.

I go to brentwood family dental for all my dental needs. Staff is excellent and very caring. Dr. Jamil is very professional and the best dentist I have come across. Dr. Alkhoury and his staff are amazing. I was able to have a same day appointment when i was in horrible pain. Ended up needing a double root canal and Dr. Alkhoury was able to save both teeth and made my smile beautiful again. I have been a dental patient at Brentwood Family Dental for two years and just four months ago I decided to have braces using the laser prox method developed and patented by my dentist. Dr. Deragopian helped me out a lot!I dont like going to the dentist, but to make a long story short, another dentist office was giving me the runaround trying to get me to schedule a consultation and a several dentist visit long term process that I didnt want to do (I really really dont like going to the dentist).Dr. Deragopian took me in the day I contacted his office, examined me, and did the work that my extremely painful tooth required all in the same day. Within 2 hours I was out of there and feeling much better.I am so glad that they were so fast. They entire staff was friendly. I was so happy that they didnt schedule me for a different day or drag the process out. Very professional!

We moved Brentwood a couple years ago and needed to find a dentist. Based on reviews and what I read about Dr. Alkhoury I figured we would give them a try. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed! The ease of scheduling appointments (and me having to reschedule), to the care my daughter received has been incredible. We have gone through braces transformation and not only did Dr. Alkhoury walk us through the process each step of the way but Claudia did as well. She was very helpful with allllll my questions and she was so patient with me an my daughter. They will certainly be our Family dental office. Thanks to the entire staff for making us feel very informed and well taken care of!!

Dr. Alkhoury is a Magician .He fitted me with dentures that look beautifulhis bedside manner is fantastic and he makes you feel calm and reassured of the results .I highly recommend for any dental need , plus the young lady , Nichole who assisted with the work done for me was priceless , she has a very gentle touch and is very considerate to ones comfort etc .All the other staff are wonderful !

Shady. Tried to double charge my wife, ($1,200 out of pocket on top of $300 covered by the insurance) then tried to pressured her into getting a crown. Went as far as to tell her that because she is pregnant she really needs to be concerned of infection.She felt it wasnt right, went home and spoke with the dental insurance. She learned insurance would cover 50% of the procedure and it should only cost $600.Spoke with his own dental assistant and another doctor. There is only a chance of infection if the tooth cracks...Sad... I am starting to believe dentist are the used car salesmen of the Medical industry.

We love Dr. Alkhoury and his amazing staff! He has been our dentist for 2 years. I had to have a LANAP laser procedure and I was scared! He was amazing and comforting. He walked me though the procedure before and during the procedure. Plus the healing wasn’t bad at all my internet searches said it would be. My wife also had a great experience with her implant. And his staff members are comforting and caring while maintaining a professional atmosphere. They remember little details about you that show they really care. I saw Dr Alkoury for a chipped front tooth and minor pain in an upper back molar few months ago.. He found an abcess under the root canal and damaged bone.He removed the tooth, cleaning out the decayed bone and did a bone transplant. I needed pain meds for one day. My sinus and ear pain went away immdiately. I will be having a tooth implant in a month. He repaired the front tooth which had been chipped in the past and not repaired correctly, which is why it continued to break offHe also discovered inflamed radial nerves which appear to be caused by a Temporomandibular (jaw hinge) Joint problem. I have a great deal of lateral movement in my jaw. I have had severe pain in my shoulders, neck and scapular area for a number of years which has not abated in spite of medical treatment and sugery. I woke up with pain and computer work was agony.I have been using the dental appliances that Dr Jamil Alkhoury devised for the TMJ problems which he believes is causing the C4-C5 & shoulder & neck pain for a month today. Right scapular & C5/C5 red hot iron pain is gone. With great pressure over C4/C5 bones, I can feel slight tenderness. Left shoulder & arm pain is now a 2 instead of 10. His computerized exams show bite is correcting, less movement to left & vibration when opening & closing mouth. Neuro exam shows increased ability to resist pressure when radial nerves stimulated. With appliance in he cannot push arms down. Sleep apnea shows borderline now & I can sleep 6-8 hours instead of 3-4. Pain does not wake me now.I have amazing differences in energy & pain relief. I had no idea TMJ joint could cause so many problems with radial nerve inflamation. I never had TMJ pain, so did not even think of it, although I have been in the medical field for 40 years. Nor have my doctors ever suggested it might be causing the shoulder and arm pain. The range of motion with my arms is excellent and virtually w/o pain now. Will continue use of dental appliances as we adjust things. Also now receiving laser trmt. for a few tender pressure points in shoulders. Highly recommend this dentist.
