Brea downtown is a nice little area to eat, take a light stroll, and do a fun activity. The holiday decor right now is lovely with a lot of great spot/displays which are perfect family, friends, or couples holiday photos. And selfies of course. My favorite restaurant there is Brunos Italian Kitchen. Then next-door (if Im not mistaken, could be two doors down) is a little dessert bakery where Ive recently tried their red velvet cupcake which was tasty! There is also two places in this strip where you can paint canvases or pottery. Theres also a Bath & Body Works.I like the mix of store types in this strip. Definitely worth a visit!
Clean and cozy. I wish there were more funky clothing stores but other than that its a chill place to be. :)
Great outdoor mall in the downtown part of Brea. The main thing I like here is the ambience and the selection of stores. Its a small mall area but it still has a lot of cool places to shop and to eat at like Bruxies, Elbows, Rubys Dinner and it even has a Chicos.Nice place to visit and shop and eat!
Got a handful of good restaurants. A nice little town to stroll around.
Awesome place to hang out. I live in Brea and I always take out of town visitors there. We bar hop
Has been the jewel of Brea for decades. Great variety of shops, dining, and entertainment.
The City stewards have done an excellent job of creating a community center worthy of its residents and visitors.
Brunos Italian Restaurant, we enjoyed the outdoor patio and of course the great food.
This place is super fun for families, individuals and couples. A little bit of everything within minimal walking distance.
Improving a lot but could’ve better with more restaurants and better stores still love it though.
Super cute little downtown with amazing food. Its calmer than downtown Fullerton. Id say they are both amazing just different environments as a whole. So if youre looking for a chill night with friends and some yummy food Id recommend Brea, whereas Fullerton is definitely more lively and fun!
I love Downtown Brea as it has some unique stores and restaurants. And there are numerous events throughout the year.
Went to Macallens Irish pub , great food and 400 Whiskeys to choose from ,also cigar bar and speakeasy
Two movie theaters, Bruxie, Color Me Mine, a new Rubys where Farrells used to be, several other restaurants and boutiques
Plenty of good places to eat! Really nice quaint area. Cool shops and movie theatre.
Awesome environment and nice selection of different wants and needs for your mood of the day. Everyday you can do and eat something different. Very mellow and chill place for dates or buisness lunch or just a day out by yourself.
Lots of good restaurants, plenty of parking, and nice area
Always a charming place just to walk around.
It is so good. I love to be there. They had good shopping stores.

Check it out. You wont be disappointed.
Lots to offer from movie theaters to a good variety of different restaurants. Good setup for outside dining during covid
This makes me feel that I am in Hollywood. And Brea moo cleaner I feel.
Great place to hangout!!
Improv was great!
Outdoor shaded patio with doggie play pan area
First time visiting definitely returning once Covid_19 restrictions are lifted. Loved atmosphere and walking the shops.
The shared outdoor set up is awesome. How they keep it past this Covid-19 era
Lots of Restaurants to choose from. Great place for a evening walk.
Very big outdoor dining area.
Very nice Place
Glad the city is finally allowing the street to be blocked to thru traffic. Makes the shopping & eating so much more enjoyable.
Its always love it here. Great little walk with shops and restaurants and always decorated for holidays
Great area and nice restaurants with great tasting food
Was ok .. nice place bath and body works.
Its usually festive, but sometimes is really crowded. bruxies is the move
Nice place to spend time
Love walking around here and seeing all these beautiful places; favorites are yard house, olive pit, bruxie, elbows and starbucks. they have these cute shops too with very nice clothing and this art place to paint and spend time with people. i also walk around here with my cousin and our moms 😁
Love the atmosphere here, nice eateries, unfortunately many have closed due to pandemic. Also some shopping as well
Good place to eat and watch movies.
Needs some empty spaces filled.
Love it. Xmas decorations are up. Perfect for a stroll.
I like this shopping plaza, well maintained.
Nice community central meeting place 👌 😀 👍
Cool. No fights or complications ever spotted. Perfect to take the kids. Restaurant employees are always kind to their customer. They would even tell you which other restaurant is better than their restaurant. Maybe just reputation but the place is comfortable.
Great place to get out of your car and just wander around. Easy parking and great shops. The whole concept is like stepping back into Old Brea. I plan to go this Christmas to see all the decorations. Good Clean Family Fun.
What a great place to spend the evening. On a first date, or date night with your honey, there something to eat see drink or enjoy here..well worth it.
I really like the two movie theaters, plus Ferrells is always so much fun to eat at. Lots of great shops to look in shopping.
Hot,over crowded, no where to eat lines and restaurants are a hour wait ......waste of time . Came back to Y.L. walked right into Yard house. It was Awesome
Always a pleasure being in downtown brea
Visited the Yard House restaurant, with Covid-19 resurgence I felt protected by staff and their consistent attentiveness to their patrons always shines 🙂
There are a great selection of restaurants in this area, even during this covid-19 waning time. Theater isnt open, but most restaurants have dine in again. There are also plenty of them that have ample outdoor seating if that is what you desire in this time frame. Farrells is closed, but eventually will be a rubys that sells alcohol. Our favorite is Yard House, which we drive 20-30 minutes to get to. Their happy hour and beer selection is stellar.
Always a great place to be and enjoy the eats movies or just window shop. Coffee is a good idea here too.
Love seeing Christmas decorations already.
Downtown Brea is such a beautiful place. Whether you are strolling the street looking for a place for dinner or simply add some steps to the pedometer. We love checking out the stores especially World market or Home Goods or even Black market White House. Always something interesting to see, buy or eat.
Great place to go
I love it. I live two blocks away. There is always events happening there. The restaurants are great. Its family oriented. Its just a cool place to hang out. It is also bicycle accessible and friendly.
Cool place to hang.. Never had a bad experience
Walked around the area a bit after dinner and stopped by Farrells for dessert. Area is nicely lit with stores, theatres and restaurants. Not too much night life in Brea elsewhere but here it is nice.
Good walking area, wide variety of restaurants, theaters, small shops. Can be crowded at busy times but there are some less crowded areas nearby. The area is suffering from some businesses being short lived. Area could be considered trendy.
Cool place for a short time also there is a cinema. Nice old Town
Great place to eat and hang out. Two movie theaters! Love it here!
Great place for a little shopping and enjoying delicious food
Super good food. Small place with a cozy feel.
Downtown Brea is a small open air marketplace consisting of restaurants and entertainment. Theres a great selection of restaurants, from fast food to nice date night restaurants. Two movie theaters for a total of 24 screens. Some nice boutiques for shopping. During the holidays out can get busy, but its a great place to hang out. Very safe! Theres even a police location on the main street.
We just moved into this city and so far we love it. We didnt realize how close we were to downtown brea but now that I know its amazing. The decorations for Christmas are beautiful and the atmosphere of this city is extraordinary. One thing that I would recommend is having wider benches for families to sit.
My daughter sells girl scout cookies there every year and its our favorite location. Lots of nice people walking their dogs and lots of good food options.
Beautiful place to take a walk
Awesome little downtown area! There are a lot of shops and places of entertainment here. Expect to pay a pretty penny when you come here, though. Besides that, this is a great little area to escape from reality in for an evening.
A nice little downtown area, with all the stores that youd expect... There are a number of alternative eateries, from an excellent Japanese Steakhouse to the traditional offerings. The ice cream shop there is also wonderful... A little farther away is a buffet restaurant Chinese, thats also very good value.
