This is an awful bank. I brought them a check all they needed to do was call to verify the numbers they refused. The bank manager was incredibly rude while we were in the drive-through for 45 minutes. We went to another bank and within minutes they made the phone call and we were paid. Pretty pathetic if you ask me. When I bank won’t even make a phone call to cash your paycheck.

This place is horrible do not bank with them if you are a small business deposits over 3k is a fee. They “accidentally” withdrew money from my sisters small business account and took days to replace it. Asked for a copy of my debit card and she shredded the original. If you need to spend more than 3k you have to increase the limit everyday. Very frustrating when trying to pay bills. Horrible customer service at this location from Sarah and Mary

The staff is great here. I do all of my personal and business banking with them and highly recommend. Ive been with them for over twenty years and there have been a few hiccups along the way, but overall they are by far the fairest when it comes to fees, etc, and the best customer service around.

I am banking with Grow Financial Brandon Branch about 5 years ( personal and Business) I read some of the reviews and I cant believe it , this is not MC Donald drive-thru wait 2 min and get you Big Mac people dealing with money they have to be careful its take time and never have problem with customer service each time I called I talk to some one with great respect. , I have great experiences with them from manager to tellers they are great person, very professional and excellent service of each time I visit them (almost every day) I recommend for everyone who like to do business with great Bank.P.S, They are like my family 😊

It is apparently impossible to call and speak to someone at a local branch. This is not good customer service. The employees working in the branches themselves are very helpful, but I wanted to check ahead of time to see if I could obtain the service I need without wasting my time driving to the branch. I guess I cant do that.

Using them for my business account. They are so friendly, and usually well staffed with 3-5 tellers. Most of these bad reviews are just people who love complaining and think the drive through is McDonalds... its a bank... you may wait more than 4 minutes.

Never use their ATM to deposit money into your own account its been years of issues trying to deposit money into the account Im sure Im not the only unhappy customer that has this issue, very INCONVENIENT!!!! The ATM literally dispenses your cash right back never accepts it, Nor does the app have Zelle like every other bank for the convenience of depositing money into one account from another!

While people may have complained in the past about the quality of service, I had a totally different experience. I opened an account last week expecting all the bad reviews to take place. Instead Amy Miller made the process very easy and simple. I was on my way home in less the one hour. I was treated like family.

Ive been a member almost 20 yrs, since it was MacDill. Ive seen staff members come and go but they still have the same excellent customer service. No matter what your issues are they do everything in their power to straighten it out. Thanks to all staff member for the support. Youre No.1 in my book.💖💖

Good and bad experience my wifes debit card got compromised from a card reader. Someone copied her card and used 2 separate times once in Tampa and once in Pinellas. They did two transactions $100 then $99 we got refunded that right away. The second time in Pinellas it was for $99 both transactions at the same gas station. Grow Financial did not even call. We had to call them ourselves and cancel our cards! You would think a red flag after both times it was near the same amount taken out and they would think it was fraud. We are close to switching banks because of this and this is not the first time that this has happened to us with them.

I have a small business account and also some other loans with Grow and I only visit this branch everyone is nice and helpful.I no longer go other banks grow helps you to grow and understand your needs to me they are much nicer than some others out there.... As long as i own my business and stay in Tampa bay I will continue work with them.Thanks everyone in this branch ........

I had a very bad experience today trying to cash a check from a company they know is not giving bad checks. I understand some holds but the amount of money they wanted to release to me today, they know was unacceptable for a member over 10 years+...they have received my payroll check every 2 weeks for years. I had tbis problem in tge past unfortunately the nice guy who helped me before no longer works there. If it had not been for Ms Lisa and Ms Jeanette who treated me with dignity I would have just closed all my familys accounts and put an ad in the Florida Sentinal to urge African Americans not to put their money there. I hate to start over at my age with a new bank but it might be time.

I give them 3 stars even though the treatment of bank workers is excellent, but nevertheless they have something very unfavorable and it is that they need to hire more people to attend to the public in the boxes as they form immense lines to deposit inside and many times you have to wait up to 25 minutes on the line

In my opinion, it doesnt matter which branch you go to, Ive been to at least 5 of the different locations and always find that they are rude and unprofessional. 4 times within the last year and a half, when Ive gone to pay my car loan they have put it in a savings account and once they payed SOMEONE ELSES car loan with it. Its like theyre not even awake! Ive caught the problem every time and had to have them corrected. Service is already slow enough and then you have to wait for them to fix that as well?! Come on! I am supremely unhappy with this bank. Their automated phone service and online banking are useless as well. I have only had one pleasant experience with them and that was speaking with a gentleman at customer service who was correcting the payment on someone elses car loan for me. I have switched ALL of my banking to Wells Fargo and have had an excellent experience with them. Unfortunately, my car loan still remains with Grow Financial until I can finish paying it down. I have been a member since it was Macdill FCU and watched the decline after that shift. I hate very few things in life... but I absolutely do not respect, trust, or enjoy giving my money to Grow Financial. I wish I never had to deal with them EVER again.

The Grow Financial on Providence rode right behind the burger king is like what everyone says it is. It is rude and unprofessional! Im never going back there. I recently went in there because I was being charged an overdraft fee. I spoke with a chick named Jessica and she was incredibly rude. She talked to me like I was not her customer. Like a was a dumb kid. I was telling her about my fee and she told me it was your responsiblity or when I said I never said no about a plan, she saidyea you did say no. She talked me like this because I was younger than her. The other lady(she is black with glasses) was also rude. I am a customer and should be treated as such, regardless of my age. If I was a big huge dude, I would of got more respect. I had to call their supervisor and she was so nice and sincere. She apologized for my bad experience and said she will take care of it. Yet, the Grow Financial on Bloomingdale is so much better. Better customer service and nicer people. Comparing the bloomingdale bank to the providence bank is like comparing Heaven and Hell. Its worth the extra 10 minute trip.

To come in at 2pm which would be considering after lunch rush and have to wait over an hour (standing up I might add, due to lack of staff on to handle requests and lack of chairs to fulfill people waiting is more than unacceptable. Considering I just opened up a new account this is not what is expected from a bank with a simple request of a debit card!!! Upper management needs to evaluate staffing issues and payroll!Sincerely,A client that would like a debit card.
