Everything ran super smooth here. I really liked all of the people who work here. They were very friendly and professional. The doctor was fantastic. They had state of the art technology which made me feel like I got a very thorough eye exam. I would highly recommend!

The entire process was exceptional. From the people checking my husband and myself in through the glasses process. Dr. Wilson was great. He suggested I see a Cataract Specialist before I purchase new glasses because my eyes will change and new glasses will not help the blurry vision. Chris also helped my husband find frames for two sets of glasses progressive lenses and saved us over $500.00. Great experience.

Yuri at front desk was so awesome in getting me checked out for the day. From me being late by 15 min from an accident and still seeing the doctor to the quick service I received once seen. I have never had such an amazing experience please go here you will not regret it. They treat their customers with respect and give honesty and provide a delightful service with a smile. Absolutely great experience all the way around. I set up an eye examine online and received two confirmations to remind me. When I arrived my wait was less than 10-minutes that I used to start looking at frames. Alexa called me in to start testing my eyes. She was pleasant to talk to and very professional. By the time she was done my prescription exam room was available. My wait for Dr Chelsea Casaccia was less than five minutes! I was fitted for lens, had my vision tested and even had my eyes dilated (ever wonder if that stuff would give you night vision?). The Dr was amazing! I met with Jennifer to order my glasses. We talked through my insurance options together and I ordered two pairs. Jennifer set clear expectations and applied all the benefits allowed for me. She gave me a two week lead time and rounded out my experience. Guess what? My glasses came in a week early and I went back and fitted them with Jennifer. Visionworks should be extremely proud of this team - they exceeded my expectations at every level. This was a picture perfect experience. When was the last time you had an experience like I just had? Want one? Well get to Visionworks...theyll make it happen!

My husband and I had appts and were taken back right away to be seen by the Optometrist. The entire experience went perfectly. Chris assisted us with our glasses selection. She was very knowledgeable and even helped us both save money and ended up with an extra pair of glasses.

The whole staff, from the front Desk to the Optometrist, were wonderful. I was in and out for my appointment in a timely manner and that was including the employees taking their time helping me find the right frames and also making sure i knew all the deals and benefits i had. I will definitely only be going here from now on.

First off my review is for the adjoining Optometrist office. The front sales staff has been great. Aside from it takes a week or so to get your glasses we have never had issues or waiting long up front.The Optometrist I met with (Dr.C..) was excellent. She caught an issue with my eye and ultimately saved my vision. I throughly enjoyed her. BUT the front office staff is so hard to deal with I will probably never go back. No one knows what to do. I’ve had to call or go In almost 6 times after my initial appointment a month ago and always have issues with the front. It’s like no one knows what to do or can’t answer a question. I go in and they tell me to come back in a few days, then I’m turned around because I do not have an appointment they told me I didn’t need. (I asked specifically). They need direction and training up front. Sad, because like I said I loved the Dr. and have to see a Dr more than most people.

Their price and service is unbeatable but their system for waiting customers are messed up. It was a busy time when I came to pick up my son’s sunglasses but they made me wait for the other customers that came ahead of me that has to spend at least 20 minutes while they pick out frames and make the ordering when it will only take them one minute to hand me the glasses that I’m trying to pick up! They should at least have one staff in charge only for customers who are coming just to pick up the order.

Dr. Wilson only wants your money!!!! He stopped the exam because my wife had a scratch on her eye and said she needed to see a specialist first. Would not refund her money and said to call an reschedule her exam but not one word about it must be within 90 days. It has been 6 mos. because of her health and not being able to go anywhere. Dr. Wilson did not care. DO NOT PAY THIS DR. UP FRONT, BECAUSE YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR MONEY OR ANOTHER EXAM UNLESS YOU GET THEIR RULES UP FRONT FIRST, SO THAT YOU KNOW 90 DAYS IS THE LIMIT, AS THEY WILL NOT TELL YOU THAT!!!!!

I scheduled an appointment online, I received a confirmation email. I also received a confirmation text, which I replied yes. The next day I left home on the way to my confirmed appointment, When i received a call from a young lady stating the appointment system was not working and doubled book appointments. Then she also told me the next time I could get an appointment was 5 days later. I explained that I had torn my contact and needed an appointment ASAP. She then told me there was nothing she could do. I asked for a manager and was advised Abagail would not be available until the next day. This was the worst customer service I have ever seen. I would not recommend this location to anyone!!!!!!! They don’t care about the CUSTOMER. If I could give them a negative 0 I would.

The staff at Visionworks in the Brandon town Center Mall 655 store # 344 (if I can give them O stars I would). We arrived there about 1:15 10/27/20 .They was very rude ,not welcoming ,very unpleasant ,unprofessional ,no greeting when you walk in the door .My husband and I stood approximately for five minutes until we walked to the of the back of the store ,While three staff members just look at us as they was on the phone. Very unprofessional.One of them looks like she was on her personal phone. (Then ask can I help you ) Then the next customer came in with a well welcome as they temperature was checked . Our wasn’t taken at all. The atmosphere felt off. My husband and I just left feeling like what happened.We should have asked for the manager. We read comments online and they were pretty bad. I told my husband let’s give it a try it can’t be that bad. Unbelievably it was. We had to drive to Visionworks in Wesley Chapel. What a difference experience we had. Very professional. We were treated With the upmost respect ,temperature check , explanatory as well quick service. We’re happy we took the drive at Visionworks at Wesley Chapel. Visionworks at Brandon Mall needs to take notice of a how to treat customers.

After calling several times to verify they took my insurance, after giving all my info and setting up the appointments for my twins. The office called the day before to tell me there would be an additional fee per exam. Yet, literally 1 hour before my scheduled appt called to say they didnt take my insurance. I run a pediatricians office, and I am appalled to hear that most doctors offices dont run insurances the day before, for reasons just like this! I understand it is just an inconvenience but I had already taken valuable time from my kids and job! I hope the new owners do much better!

Stopped by the other day to look at purchasing 2 pair (everyday wear and sunglasses), Had a great experience with the woman that gave me a quote, also did different quotes from a few other places, Visionworks wasnt the least expensive but was fairly close to the price I was willing to pay. Went back 2 days later, and ran into a woman (girl) that seemed upset as soon as I told her I didnt have an appointment, I didnt know that I had to have one, its at a mall. I didnt need an appointment to get into the mall. I was actually coming back in to purchase 2 pair of glasses, but with her attitude, shrugging her shoulders and sighing, I decided to go to my second optical choice, where I did buy a regular pair of everyday glasses, a pair of sunglasses, both prescription, along with 6 months of contacts too. Vision works lost a $583.00 sale and my business.

They don’t answer the phone,It’s Ridicules to have an answering machine that tells you to stay on the line for 45 minutes,I finally hung up. They want you to use the website,Not everyone is techie They don’t carry Glass for those who cannot tolerate plastic lenses.This was the Brandon Location.On a Brighter Note I did finally get an opponent.The Young Lady that took care of me was very pleasant and knowledgeable in her job,Her name is Whitney,I actually would give her 10 Stars out of a possible 5 Stars. I would think the Brandon Location needs to get to the Bottom of the problem with receiving phone calls, Is there a problem with the Phone equipment?Or just Poor Service?

I have been trying to make an appointment for weeks now. The phone rings and no one ever picks up. The one time someone picked up the girl told me they were booked for the rest of the month so I told her to schedule me for the next month and she said I had to call again the next week to see what their schedule was. I have tried multiple times to call and again no answer. I finally decided to go in person after work since I thought that is the only way I could get an appointment for me and my daughter. When I get there at 4:50pm on Oct 13,2020 I see the two employees chatting( it seemed they were gossiping as they were whispering). I asked to make an appointment and the one lady told me rudely to call tomorrow because she was done for the day. I explained that I was there in person because they don’t ever pick up the phone and she just repeated her self again to call tomorrow. She was so rude and unprofessional! I should’ve known the customer service was awful since I couldn’t make an appointment via phone. I have been going to Visionworks in Tampa for years and this is the first time I run into this awful service. The employees in the Brandon Mall ( the doctors office) need some customer service training. I left there and went to Lenscrafter right there in the same mall and the service was outstanding! I will never ever go back to that Brandon mall store and I will spread the word to everyone I know! I put one star because I can’t put 0 stars!

First off, shout out to Antwan (sorry for the spelling)!!! I cant say enough good things about him. I was in the store for HOURS trying to pick up glasses, never once did he rush me and continued to check on me as I told him I would be awhile to help others. Because I was in there so long I was able to see how he interacted and helped many customers. He is a great associate and very helpful and kind. I was at 2 other glasses places and people were just rude so it was really refreshing to have someone understand that this is what is going on my face all day, everyday and I want them to look good.When I went to pick up my glasses I was helped getting them adjusted the one gentleman was very patient as I couldnt figure out what the problem is and how i wanted my glasses. I ended up just settling, I was tired it was a long day at work. But he was very helpful and patient. Antwan even remembered me and asked about the dog I was fostering. I thought it was great that he even remembered me.I went back for another adjustment and the lady was equally pleasant, helpful and patient. The gentleman that helped me the 1st time remembered me as well and asked if I was back because of the same issue we were having the first time.Long story long, this was probably the best place I have been to get glasses.

Got my buy one get one for me and my wife at over $1300.00 and cant get an appointment for the adjustment since they mail them to me. If dont hear from them by Friday Im bringing them back and cancelling my visa on it. 25 minutes on the phone at the store talked to 2 people, both put me on hold, and call got sent to California and they couldnt help either. And going back to Costco.They were good till they got the money.

Yesterday, I had my first visit with Visionworks at Brandon mall.I don’t have not one complaint! 🤩The exam desk ladies, so sweet, attentive, fun and professional.The guy who did the first part of the exam, also very nice and professional!The doctor was personable and I love the tests he did. (More thorough than my previous doctors)He explained everything and made sure to answer any questions I had.The selection of glasses they have is great!The young lady that helped order my glasses was as sweet as can be and she explained everything I needed to know and was patient with me as well.Overall, great experience and glad I was recommended to them!! These people are robbers. My parents who are elderly went there. They were charged well over $1,300 for 4 pairs of eyeglasses. They have insurance and were talked out of using it. And one frame which was tagged $59 suddenly became $99 on payment. Now the eyeglasses dont even fit and nobody on the phone is able to help set up an appointment. Dishonest, unethical, and predatorial when it comes to preying on seniors. We will be reaching out to corporate. Shame on them for lowlife dirtbag behavior especially at a time like this.

Great overall experience here. The young lady that assisted me at first (I dont recall her name 😭) was awesome, we were also birthday buddies! Same month, date & year lol! Doctor Wilson was very kind & helpful. And my associate, Whitney, was amazing! She helped me pick out my glasses & even helped me pick my prescription sunglasses! Super helpful for someone as indecisive as I am & very sweet! Had no plans to get sunglasses but she & my fiancée convinced me & I do not regret it. Couldnt ask for a better experience. The team at this location is very polite & they always ask if you need assistance with anything. Thank you all & I appreciate the extra precautions that were taken during this time. I saw many customers upset about the rules put in place for Covid, but I appreciated everyones precautions & how polite they were about it all.

After I picked out the glasses I wanted, I was only there another hour, and I got a huge discount on them. Me and my family have been going to this location for years for our eye exams. Today when I called to make our annual appointment I was told we cannot come on a weekend, even if appointments are available, because there are 3 of us. I was told that we could only be seen on a Monday, Wednesday, or Friday. Well, me and my husband work and my daughter is in school. I explained that we have been able to come on a weekend for the last couple of years and the lady told me I was lucky and there must have been a scheduling error. Funny because SHE has been the one to schedule us for the last two years. I dont see why a family of three cant be seen on a weekend if there are appointments available. This is totally ridiculous and unacceptable. I will be taking my business somewhere else and I will be sure when it is time for my sons appointment in March, he will not be returning here either.

I know this is no individuals fault but its just as frustrating nonetheless and I want my complaint to be heard so here it is. I was told my glasses would take two weeks. I ordered them on March 17th. So unsurprisingly I called on Monday March 2nd, the receptionist told me she saw that they had shipped and for me to call back after the daily shipment at 2:00. I called at 3 pm and was told no arrival definitely tommorow. I callee on the 3rd. Same answer. I came to the store on the 4th, waited for 30 minutes and was told the same thing. I came to the store on the 5th and once again the same answer was given. I have to drive out of town tonight and really needed and had no reason to doubt that my glasses that I need to help me see when Im driving when I would be in. Now Im going on a roadtrip, driving at night while being a danger to myself and others and all I have to show for it is a shrug, smirk, and a maybe tomorrow. I dont advise anyone to get their glasses from here unless you want to want closer than a month than two weeks for them. Great deals, totally not worth it. Id pay three times as much if I could just get what I need on time. They dont even offer an Express shipping option, which I was willing to pay for upon purchase of the glasses. The people they employ are lovely. HORRIBLE business as a whole. I have a mind to ask for my money back but I want to save myself the frustration of hearing something I dont want to. So Ill settle for this review.

I was VERY skeptical about trying this place. Id been out of contacts for some time and had been putting it off, since I have Davis Vision insurance, Visionworks is one of the few places that accepts it and might have my power on hand (ref -10.0).Anyway, out of desperation and despite the horrible reviews, I went to the Visionworks in Brandon Mall and I was VERY satisfied. I was there for an EXAM, NOT to buy glasses. I think the reviews on here or for the jerks that sell glasses, dont be fooled, they are NOT the same people that administer the exams. The people ate the Exam desk were EXCELLENT!!! The Dr. I saw was very thorough and kind.I do NOT have ONE SINGLE complaint about the Exam team. Ive not had to purchase glasses but just like any high volume sales place, the salespeople are going to feel scummy. Dont let it deter you from the excellent staff working in the exams area.There needs to be reviews on both separately, since they are night and day.

The customer service girl with blonde hair and glass who pops her gum is very very rude. Went in looking for glasses that were 2 for 69.00 special boy is that a joke she told me it would be almost 475.00 for two pair on that deal. Then I asked about using she said she would have to run the insurance to get a quote but could cancel if I didnt want. She gave me a quote for insurance of 500.00 I said no just cancel she got up and went to another customer didnt say okay thank you or nothing to me I asked her if she cancel she said she would have to call so I waited and called my insurance company when she saw me doing that she decided to make the call to cancel the order. My advice is to be very careful with this place and maybe they should get better customer service . DONT GET RIPPED OFF.

Jeelyn helped me right away, picked out a few pairs and helped me figure out which was just right since this was my very first pair. Was super helpful explaining the options I could have. I was able to get my glasses same day!

It had been a while since Ive been to Visionworks but I dont know why I didnt come back to this location because my experience was great! I had an appointment at 12:30pm and came in 15 minutes early and they saw me and didnt make me wait until my appointment. I thought that was cool because it saved me some time. Overall, it took almost an hour to do my contact lens exam with barely any wait at all - which is normal since you have to do your eye exam, contact lens fitting, go back into exam room to ensure that they fit well and that you can read the letters on the board. I didnt know that the letters on the board now included numbers so that was different but had no impact on my visit. I really liked it and it was a pleasant visit. They did not take my Humana Eyemed insurance for contacts but are very helpful to point out other stores that do take it. I wont go anywhere else now!

A couple weeks ago I stopped in to get a pair of safety glasses that are required for my job. I recently had an eye exam and didnt want a new one. The staff took my prescription off my daily glasses and I did some paperwork to have the previous doctor release my exam information so the safety glasses could be made properly. I selected the pair I wanted and was asked to follow up with them the next day to make sure everything was on track. No issues so far. The next day I called the employee who answered the phone (one of the two who helped me the night before) informed me she was busy then quickly hung up. A couple weeks go by (originally I was told that I would have my glasses in 2 weeks) and my wife follows up with them on my behalf and the manager didnt know what was going on with my order and nothing had been done to get my prescription from the eye doctor and everything was as I left it weeks before. I will say the manager attempted to correct the situation and got my eye exam information very quickly to try to complete my order but it would still be a couple weeks before I would get my safety glasses and Im left ruining my normal glasses at work in the mean time. The manager was informed that I would be on the way to pick up my paperwork and take my business elsewhere. The lack of professionalism that the staff displayed Is unacceptable to me and I wont be stepping foot in that location again.

My husband had an eye exam at an optical center but chose to get his glasses at this Vision Works since we had a great experience in the past. However, this time it was a mess so we are debating if we would go back. First, we did not receive a call or notification when the glasses were ready- we just decided to call since we were in the area. Then the glasses were created with the wrong prescription so after being blind for 1 week we had to take them back to be corrected. Next we had to send a fax but it wouldnt go through due to a fax machine issue for 2 days. Finally we picked up the glasses (almost 1 month later) and asked for a single cleaning cloth to be included as a courtesy for all our troubles and it was provided with extreme hesitation. Our only compliment goes to Whitney who was friendly and sincerely tried to do her best to correct the situation. Just unfortunate that the overall experience may ruin a future purchase from this location.

I had a very good experience at this Vision Works store. My eyeglasses were bent and I was helped by a woman named Jerelyn.She was very professional and fixed the problem I had .I will definitely be back to visit this store when I have to get a new pair.I am glad that there are still people that give the customer first class service.

Very rude and poor customer service. I just went in needing the whole gambit, eye exam glasses and contacts. The older woman behind the exam counter asked me what insurance I had. I stated I have many plans. I had two print outs one better than the other. Instead of her doing her own job and looking up my information she took the first print out (which I could have made up myself) and insisted that this was the only plan I have refused to look at the other print out that I had that which showed I had a better plan. Then she proceeded to get in a full blown argument with me and told me that she had no openings. Now I dont know if she was so rude because I stood up for myself knowing what was right. Or if she was a conservative and decided to take that stance because of my tattoos. Or even acted the way she did because she has something against veterans. Or maybe it was even a race thing because here was a young white man standing up for his rights. I would avoid his place. We have the right to pay the amount required nothing less nothing more. Not some cooked up price because someone refuses to do their job and find your coverage. Support a veteran treated wrongly. Avoid this place. There are many better.

I can say nothing good about this place. The secretaries behind the desk were short and rude, the staff on the floor was absolutely no help whatsoever. I just wasted my time! And there is no selection of glasses at all, unless you want to look like a beady-eyed 90 year old grandma.

At first the customer service was good, but Im on day 12 and still dont have glasses. The people who answer the phone have no idea whats going on. I was kept on hold for 4 mins when she finally came on the line she said I told you they were busy...not one apology. She then put me BK on hold without letting me even get a word out. Still my lenses havent arrived. The supv cant chk emails till 6pm. Its my first and last time getting glasses there.

The lady who helped me pick out my glasses was amazing. She told me it would take 2 weeks to be ready. August 6 came, no call. I went in myself to pick up my 2 pairs that were 2 for $29. The man who helped me was rude. Sat for about 20 minutes looking for my glasses found one and said the other isnt ready. I waited another 2 weeks because of no phone call. They told me they lost them and will reorder a new one. It has been a month and no answer.

I called to schedule an appointment for Friday of this week. The girl on the phone was extremely rude and it was really off-putting. I dont get offended or upset easy at all, but this just really irritated me, so I called back 20 minutes later and canceled the appointment. Never going to even think twice about going to this place.

The doctor and staff at the desk (schedulers) were excellent. I got my glasses in February, this is April, and Ive had to return my glasses twice. Once because I let them convince me the transition lenses were the way to go. Mistake! They stayed dark even inside a building, and when I was outside in the sun, they got no darker than when I was in a building. The second return was because the anti-glare coating started peeling off of both lenses. I was told on Sunday, I could have them repaired on Monday. Today is Thursday - no glasses. I wont be a repeat customer.
