Dr. Hansel is a phenomenal doctor. He is very calm & patient. He listens & has excellent bedside manners. He makes me feel very comfortable & he is very knowledgeable and open minded about hormone therapy. At my age hormone knowledge is very very important. Thank-You Dr. Hansel.

They were hard to make your visit comfortable and to see that youre taken care of as soon as possible. I’m confused as to how this place got 5 stars when every time I called it took more than 30 minutes for someone to even answer. Anywho, I’m a NEW mom to be, and I called for details on a bill I got when I haven’t even gotten seen yet.. I call for a break down and further understanding and the lady had a BIG ATTITUDE AND was NOT HELPFUL AT ALL. I then just told her to cancel my appt and she was perfectly fine with doing so lol instead of being professional and HELPING ME! I’m disappointed. And I’m sure nothing will get done about this haha she’s lucky I didn’t get her name.

CHOSE ANOTHER PRACTICE. They failed at every aspect of my obstetrical care. Their office is shabby and unclean. Dr. Matta-Toomeys nurse threated to report me as an uncooperative patient when I asked for the Dr. to provide an alternative test option. 5 days C-section postpartum I reported fever, massive lymph node swelling, with high blood pressure and was told it was not serious enough, I was rushed to the ER and spend a week in the hospital with a massive post surgical infection and postpartum preeclampsia. I NEVER had a follow up call from their office. They do not care about the quality of patient care and are dangerously inept. Seek another practice.

Dr. Lemay always has a smile on her face. She is very good at distracting you. She makes you feel more comfortable and she really cares. She does not rush you through your appointment thats very important to me.

Doctor Hansil and his kind nurse were very warm and empathetic. I discovered quickly that they were both Christians as am I. Excellent care. Doctor Hansil with the help of his wonderful nurse were able to insert aPessary that over the 3 plus years has never stayed in longer than a day! I am now on the 4th day and it is such a relief to have this prolapse tucked back in my body! Furthermore Doctor Hansil explained a minimally invasive surgical procedure that would solve my problem permanently and was a 45 minute surgery. I left their office for the first time feeling veryConfident of future better health. An answer to prayer!

The office was running behind, but not much at all (maybe 15 min), Dr Matta-Toomey & her nurse (whose name I should know), apologized profusely. This was my third office visit & the only appt that ran behind. It was not a big deal to me.Very happy with office staff & overall care, but especially Dr Matta-Toomey. Would highly recommend her.

WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS IF I COULD!!! I was never told my child who doesn’t have an option besides being with me could not be at my appointment. So I take the day off work, come to my appointment with my 4 yr old and get turned down for treatment because I have my child with me who doesn’t have another choice. The woman at the desk was extremely rude as well. She did not care at all about helping.

I love Dr Hansil, he is a great doctor and explains many different options of birth control and what would work best for each individual. The online booking is nice. However sometimes it takes awhile to get a call back if I have called. But once they do call back they are very professional and nice. The office is clean and sanitized.

I’v been a patient at West Coast OBGYN since 2011. And I recommend them to everyone! Dr Hansill delivered both my kids. And I have seen Dr Lemay every year since I was in high school! Dr Matta delivered my little brother in 2000 so my mom has been a patient since the 90’s! My mother-in-law joined recently as well and she can’t stop raving about the great bedside manner of the staff. I even recommended them to my best friend who just had her baby delivered by Dr Hansill! She can not say enough good things!A big plus I like to tell everyone is that during your OB visits you get to visit with all four doctors. And let me tell you it is amazing! At first I was like, wait I can’t JUST see Dr Lemay... But after I met Dr Campos, Dr Hansill and Dr Matta-Toomey I was so happy that they have this type of system. That way you can get to know all the doctors! As well as them get to know you! And since the baby doesn’t really announce when they will be coming. It is a great system because you won’t be in that awkward situation you see in every movie. Where the women/girl is like wait you’re not my doctor. Where is my doctor?! This literally happened to my friend who goes to an OB/GYN group in Sarasota. Her OB doctor was at a concert, out of town and she ended up being with a doctor who she never met. A very good doctor. But still she wasn’t as comfortable since she never met her before.The nurses and office girls are so fun. I like how the nurses ask you the basic questions so they can relay the information to the drs to get them prepared to visit the room. This really helps make the whole visit seamless and not dragged out. And the front desk girls are always so helpful even with being extremely busy. With the phones ringing and and having to greet patients at the same time. In regards to billing in general I personally think it can be very confusing. Especially when it comes to insurance and adding a baby being delivered in the next year makes it way more confusing. But the manger was so helpful in explaining all of that to me during my pregnancies.I really wanted to write this review to help give a detailed perspective of a patient.Being in the medical field at this time in our life is very complicated. Most people don’t see what protocols and procedures you have to go through on the backend in general. But then to add in all the extra covid procedures on top of it makes paperwork that much more “fun”. I think you guys are doing an amazing job!

Doctors are professional and sensitive especially Dr LeMay and Dr Campos. Nurses and receptionists are kind as well and think about each patient as a person. When I go in they literally call me by first name and ensure I am attended to timely (even when I’m late). It’s also as if the doctors know me personally. They talk to me about information Ive shared with the office as if they’re my friends. I’m always comfortable with them.

This was my first time at west coast and the professionalism from the time I stepped in the building... I was early getting there and it was still lunchtime for the staff and instead of wondering where everyone was at there was a sign at the front desk saying at lunch... Staff was very polite and professional about their job and with the covid , if you didnt have an appointment they scooted you out... (Again in a professional manner) i didnt have long to wait for the doctor and she was absolutely wonderful and professional.... The facility was also nice and clean... I have nothing but good things to say about everyone there... Im lookin forward to this place being my permanent gynecology..

I really like West Coast OB/GYN! I saw Dr. Matta Toomey and she was great and so was her nurse. All of the staff was very accommodating. Very down to earth! They even made my mammogram & bone density appointments for me! Only one draw back... I had to pay $232 up front and I have Medicare and a supplemental insurance!
